The parents will probably tell you that they want to 'share their parenting experience online with other parents and friends'. Shallow but the hard truth... I wondered what are there so many things to share when most of us are living in a similar up growing environment and financial capability. (I meant the majorities) When you upload your kids singing competition online( cause you are so proud of them), nobody or at least most people don't envy or care about it...perhaps a thumbs up due to politeness.

Technology has played important role in shaping life but I prefer going back to the days when there was no social media -being 90s kid-I really miss that
Picture has more value at that time because it reallly captured your moment but now pictures are taken in tons and not for moment to capture but to get how many likes

Time is too precious to be spent posting photos, writing on social media. Those parents have nothing better to do with their kids and time?

Parents in the 60s are so lucky they don't have to deal with children using such platform such as social media lol and this is coming from a teenager myself.

Lmao look at all the ignorant parents exposing their children or babies to harmful environment when they themselves use social media.... Anyways sad that babies r too young to understand parents shld ask them for their permission instead of just posting them sigh

How are the kids supposed to know what they will be facing if the parents are not aware of their own consequences? Parents with their selfish motives to brag will find it easy to manipulate children concern. Of course any sharing will benefit others, but any thoughtful parents should raise the awareness of what consequence it may have when they reach adolescent. Singaporean parents have yet to experience the full blown consequences unlike their western counterparts.

What about parents who create channels under the guise of awareness and education and end up getting rich off of their kid who is severely developmentally delayed (he says the kid is autistic but it's more like DD). Sharing the kid's most personal moments for the world to see. The child can't consent because the child is non verbal. It's a real shit show and should be stopped. It's like this dad is the reincarnated version of PT Barnum. It is easy to see how the channel has changed as the money started rolling in. Vlogs of late are about look what we bought - look what we have - look at us we are so great because we have all these subscribers etc. - barely a mention of anything about education of awareness. How do we get YT to put a stop to the exploitation of kids? Especially those who are non - verbal and severely DD?
