before you started the factory to ddwrt, did you set a static IP? Did you use a LAN cable connection?

I hope to get a response on this...I was planning on bringing my archer c7 running dd-wrt with my netgear r6200, but at 2:55 in your video, you said that dd-wrt moves the c7 to 192.169.1.1 and that is what my r6200 is using
any thoughts?

Does this version of DDWRT have the openvpn client option under Services? I've just tried ddwrt on a MR3220 and it did not. If I buy the C7 1750 I was hoping I could flash it with a version of ddwrt that has the openvpn client. Thanks

That literally makes no sense. 2.4GHz is a completely different frequency than 5GHz. That's like saying a tree is blocking sun on one side of town from plants on the other side of town.
