Tourists DON'T Come Here - BANGKOK Guy Visits Rural THAILAND Family

- Yep, tourists don't come here. This is a story of a Bangkok guy that visits a rural Thailand family. I was invited by my friend's rural Thai family to visit them in the Uthai Thani province. I can't believe less than 1% of tourists come here, it's such a beautiful place with so much to see. I took this opportunity, as I really love rural Thailand. Today I take you to several gorgeous temples, an astounding cave system, have lunch at a beautiful riverside Cafe, and of course meet and have dinner with my friend's rural Thai family. This was such a great trip, as I love leaving Bangkok to see other parts of Thailand. The temples did not fail to amaze me yet again. The Hup Pa Tat cave system is a must see! However, the best part was of course meeting my friend's rural Thailand family. I got to see how they live, play with their animals and ride their motorbike around a bit. To top it off, I had a wonderful dinner with their whole family. This was definitely one of my most memorable trips here in Thailand.

That glass temple was astounding!
The cave as well!
Food looks amazing!
Looks like a all around good trip! :D
It was so much fun! Part two of this trip is coming before the end of the week.
Although I’m a Thai living in Bangkok, I haven’t been to this province yet. The temple you went was a famous one. I like the view of the rice field when you rode on the motorbike. Thanks for sharing and look forward to your next video.
Very happy you enjoyed this video! Part 2 is coming later this week.
The donation box you donated is for helping out the public.
Perfect! Thanks for letting me know.
the box beside was for curing illed monks
Ahhh ok
Wow!!! It's great to see you out exploring the countryside. There's so much to see that is interesting and different in different region. Plus I think you'd agree that the Thai winter has some nice cool temperatures and makes the exploration much more enjoyable. See you at your next stop!!!
Yes this was such a fun trip. Part 2 of this trip coming later this week.
This is one of my favorite clips. You go to exotic places that Thai people like me don't know. Happy new year, have a good health, have a safe trip and keep making good clips.
I really love exploring the lesser known areas, even if they’re in Bangkok. Very happy that you enjoyed this video. Hope you have a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
Awww what an adorable little Pom! ❤❤❤
His name is Big Pom. Lol
Ha!! 😂 That’s funny!
The Temple was a magnificent place to visit , I never know the
The country I was born in has the most beautiful and interesting scenery you could want to see.
Absolutely great amazing video again from you.
It really is!
Serg, the donation box you contributed is the fund to go for general public service charity whereas the other box nearby is the fund going to ailing monks...FYI :)
That’s great to know, thanks!
The glass temple is insanely beautiful, your in a Tee shirt I’m getting ready for a frigid day on the shores of Brooklyn NY , great video never seen anyone video before
Yeah it’s warm here. Been to Brooklyn, I know it’s cold there now. Yah, less than 1% of tourists come to this Provence. I will have one more video from this trip later this week. Thanks for watching!
I'm not Buddhist but I'd love to see those temples someday. It's a beautiful countryside there-I had no idea.
Great video!! 👍👍
It is very lovely in the country.

11:19 cockatoo is one of my dream pet of all time
They are cute but so loud.
That's stunning! I don't think I'll get tired of the seeing all the wats. Every one of them are so different and amazing in their own way. Agreed, being able to see things with locals is always great!
Many people who have lived here for a long time get tired of seeing them. I simply love architecture, and because it’s not some thing I grew up with, I still find them all fascinating. Check out my video where I attended a Monk ceremony as well as Songkran with a Thai family in a small village.
ข้าวเขียวอากาศน่าจะร้อน เห็นอาหารเย็นน่าทานมาก เที่ยวให้สนุกนะคะ
I had a wonderful trip. Glad you enjoyed this video.
Wow, I think this is my favorite video of yours so far. Awesome!
Thanks, Rob! That means a lot to me, I really enjoyed putting this one together. The second part is coming before year end.
@@LifewithSerg This was fun and interesting start to finish. I'm watching a 2nd time.
I follow your vid for a while. And now you become more and more Thai. Keep doing your vid. Bravo !!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Really cool video Serg! The temple and caves look fantastic.
I’m so happy that everyone likes this video. I really enjoyed making it.
Great video Serg! That food looks amazing! yum!
So good! Thanks.
This temple is simply marvelous....thank Serg for the video....awesome
I really loved the complex of temples there. I think there was at least one that I missed in that complex. It was simply giant! Part two of my trip will be coming later this week.
Stunning what a day you had ..
look forward to next video
The next one is already out. I’m actually going back to the region for a few days tomorrow.
Wonderful places. Inspiring story. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙏
Glad you enjoyed it.
love your video
Thank you!
Thais have a strong sense of beauty. Sense of color and proportion. And the spirit of nature. I think you saw an oil palm. Uthai Thani is about half way north in Thailand. You pass it by when you travel north by bus.
Hmmmm. It didn’t really look like a palm tree, very confusing as to what it was. Such beautiful nature, though!
Absolutely magnificent as you said.
Glad you think so!
Hi Serg thank you very much for the beautiful Impressions and the wonderful pictures ffom the Landscape and the Park. Really a dream.
Glad you enjoyed it, was such a beautiful area. Part 2 of this trip will be out later this week.
Thanks for a nice VDO
Most welcome!
one of the nice episodes !! so calm and peaceful
Glad you liked it. I loved making it. Part 2 coming later this week.
Beautiful landscapes
Really loved this province. Part two of this trip is coming later this week.
Thanks for sharing. I haven't been to this temple yet.
Very beautiful temple. Next year I will follow you to this temple.
Please do! It’s beautiful. You’ll love my next video.
Nice to see rural parts of Bangkok, the temples are magnificent.
Yes they are! Loved this trip. Part 2 coming later this week.
Came across your channel and you sure didn't disappoint. I've never been there before -- and I'm a Thai! So thank you. And by the way, your voice is so pleasant to listen to. Stay safe and healthy. Happy New Year.
Aw thanks!! Very happy to hear that. Glad you enjoyed this video. I have one more from this trip coming later this week. Happy New Year to you as well.
Very beautiful and peaceful
It really is!
Serg if you have a good time you will coming back Thailand every year happy new year
I live in Thailand. Not leaving anytime soon.
Very nice 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽
Thank you!
Awesome video Serge, stunning places and great food. Thai people are very hospitable...those Native Parrots are Australian Cockatoo's.
Yeah, these people are super nice. I have part two of this trip coming later this week. I’m also going back next week to film my friends brother’s monk ceremony.
Love your VDO❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😁
Beautiful video and I just subscribed I think a long time ago with my Thai wife we went to the shimmering glass temple and I was awestruck at, the amazing Buddhists who created it. I still live in Thailand for the past 22 years and my Thai wife and I moved from Ko Samui, where I still own a house, to Nakhon Sawan where I live in a peaceful Thai village far away enough from the city.
That whole temple complex is truly stunning! I will have part two of my trip to this province published later this week. Welcome aboard!
Wish you all the best for doing many good deed🎉
Many many thanks!
Have a great trip, this is my fav province.
It’s so nice.
Peace of mind are really happiness of our life. We could easy to get from rural .
So very true.
Thumbs up 👍 Serge
Many thanks
very nice....
Thanks a lot
...very...elegant...🕍...
..Thanks for a good video...☕👍💖
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a quiet and peaceful province.
I loved it. Part 2 of this trip will be out later this week. Enjoy!
It took me five+ years to get fully excited about all the temples (the non-touristy ones), but when I did....oh boy.
I simply love architecture, so maybe that’s why I enjoy them so much.
Good video
Thank you!
This is my favorite place.
Such a nice province!
Bedankt
U bent. And thank you for the super thanks! Glad you enjoyed this video. Part two from this trip should be up later this week.
The epic hoda wave... 😁👍🙏
They are everywhere. Lol
Me as a Thais living here my whole life. Which is 36 years never get tired of temples. I never tired of appreciate arts.
Yes same!
วิหารทองคำอละวิหารแก้ว วัดท่าซุง
Yes soon.
love love
Thanks!
WOW!!!! What a gorgeous place 😮 I totally agree with dual pricing, I wish it was here in NZ. If the locals pay taxes, rates etc why shouldn’t they have the privilege of paying the lower rate. I feel that the visitors from other countries are the ones that make all the mess/damage, the locals & expats would have more respect, so they should pay the higher rate, that is to cover the cost of cleaning up etc. Glad you’re having a great wee getaway 😊 PS: please cuddle the fur babies for me 😃
The fur babies were so cool. I spent a good part of the night holding Big Pom. He’s too cute. Part 2 of this trip coming later this week.
@@LifewithSerg I’ll be ready to watch it 😁 Have a safe and spectacular New Years xx
I need to go there sometime .
Very cool region. Part 2 coming later this week.
Serge very nice vlog. Love caves. Have you been to Khao Bin Cave in Ratchaburi yet?
No, this is only the second cave I’ve been to in Thailand. I really plan to explore more of this country next year. I’ll put that on my list!
@@LifewithSerg I was blown away by Khao Bin Cave. It's an easy walk through too.
Hi Serg! At 03:56...those fish look like the Giant Mekong Catfish. This specie of catfish do not have the whiskers that other typical species of catfish have. They are endangered due to overfishing and dam construction. Efforts have been made to bring up the numbers by stocking them in lakes around Thailand. If you Google GIANT MEKONG CATFISH, the photo results look exactly like the fish you were feeding!
Some seemed to have a bit of whiskers. They are def some kind of catfish. Thanks for the info Kevin, they do look just like the pictures.
Looks like a Hollywood Avatar backdrop
Seriously!
I had no idea what so ever that you would go to that temple. I have always wanted to go to that place for a long time but have never had a chance. A very beautiful temple. A former abbot of the temple that you put his english name up is one of well known and well respected buddhist monks of Thailand's modern time that I love and respect deeply. Never got a chance to see him in person. He passed away in 1992 but I follow his teaching a lot, including on youtube.
One of donation boxes that you put your donation money in is for genneral help to people who need it. You have done a good thing, making merit. Thank you.
Yes it’s a wonderful area. Rally loved that temple! Thanks for the explanation on the donation box.
My mom lives at nearby provincial town and I didn’t know about the golden temple. It will be on my todo list
Yeah it’s such a beautiful temple.
Love the pumpkin
Not a big fan honestly.
@@LifewithSerg just booked my flight going on Monday... 😁👍Yea I prefer the pumpkin not deep fried but I would try it lol I will post some stuff on my RUclips channel as I'm taking my dji drone to... 😉👍
It's the most wonderful and magic place of Thailand. "Tha-Sung" temple is in Uthai Thani Province. It is a place of meditation that can contain thousands of people. I often come here to meditate. Luang Phor Ruesri Lingdam his corpse does not rot and contained in a glass coffin. Appreciate your merit. Welcome to Thailand thank you. ยินดีต้อนรับนะคะ 😊
Really peaceful province. Part 2 of this trip coming in a few days.
@@LifewithSerg Luang Phor Ruesri - Master name Lingdam - black monkey body in the glass coffin does not decay
Yes, I saw his body there.
❤❤❤❤❤
😊👍😃
I think from now on that Temple and the cave will have more tourists because of you.
Ha ha. It was a great trip. Part 2 of this trip will be uploaded later this week.
Now it's 2:00 a.m. in Las Vegas I still watch your video.
Ahhh…. Good ole Lost Wages. He he. Miss that place.
Danke!
Bitte!
Thank you for the Super Thanks!

Thank you
I miss Uthai thani Province There is the Sakae Krang River, which is the 1st line, will join with the Chao Phraya River one more time.🤗❤️
The river fish there is delicious because of the rich nutrients in the river. And it is the highest omega 3 fish in the world. 🐟🐠
Watch my next video. I went to Phasan.
👍👍
Thanks! Part 2 coming on Friday.
สวยดีนะ ผมยังไม่เคยไปเลย 555
Yes very nice. Part 2 coming tonight.
Let us know if you would like to visit Samut sakhon ( where we live) we would love to show you around
Thank you very much for the invitation. I will definitely keep it in mind.

May you live to be 105. Lol. Thank you so much for your support.
Awesome place. It’s a very livable province. Please include Thai subtitle.😅😅
RUclips visit problems all day with subtitles, as soon as they fix it, I will add them.
@@LifewithSerg Ok, In this video you speak slower. I can understand almost about that. Thank you for explore and sharing. I’m enjoy.⛰🌷
At the end, I saw a Bang Kaew dog, which is the latest Thai dog to be ranked by the World Kennel Association. It is a hybrid of a wild dog, long hair, and has the personality of a wild dog and is very loving to its owner. It will also be fierce towards strangers. if it is imprisoned There are 5 colors of feathers: white with brown spots. , white with black points, white with gray points, white with tan points and white with red points.🐕🦮🐕🦺🐩
Ahhhhh very interesting.
ป่าสัตว์ป่ามีนะครับ
Oh yes. All I’ve the place
That 200 baht entry fee is worth it I feel Serg, feel like setting up a treasure hunt event there would be sooooo exciting 😍😃
It was absolutely worth it! I wish we were able to get there about three or four hours earlier, before noon. We would’ve seen the sun light shining through the cave. But it was a great experience. Part two of this trip will be out later this week.

This palm trees are species that exist since the dinosaurs period ( I do not know exactly ) you should do more works of this info though Love your clip! 👍
Thank you for that information! New video tomorrow!
I am a local person but have never been to this province. It contains beautiful temples and lovely nature. I plan to buy a house and live there.
It’s very nice!
@@LifewithSerg Yes, I know. Very few tourists and the population are low, 55. Take care, Serge. Don't ride too fast; the local dogs dislike Flashman.
I will be careful! Part two of this trip will be on RUclips later this week.
Nice :D good day for some dopamine :D
Yesss. Loved this trip. Part 2 coming later this week.

อุทัยธานีมีวัดที่สวยมากน้อยคนจะไปเที่ยวกัน
Yes very quiet here!
pink maggot is only here Hup Pa Tat cave and it's good for kid
Ah I see.
Honda Wave125 is a good bike. It actually has a clutch. but the clutch is at the feet When you press down on the gear, it's the clutch. You can hold down the gear and rev it up without it going to run while it's in 1st gear. This bike is now very popular with Thai people. Thai people like to customize it to be a touring style. and travel around Thailand in camping style There are many Thai RUclips channels riding this model around Thailand. Because it's cheap, economical, easy to drive, very durable, and most importantly, it's very fuel efficient. If you fill the tank full You can ride this bike back and forth. Bangkok-Bangsaen😁😁🙏🙏
It was just strange to shift without a clutch and the shift patter is reversed. Fun little bike though!
@@LifewithSerg Actually this model is made for woman. 😁🤣
Lollll. I’m fine with that. 555
The box you put money in is for a fund for public welfare, not for the the temple itself
That’s great to know! Thank you.
I’m Thai but live in Fresno CA . I love all of your video. Thank you for promoting my birth country.
That’s awesome. I lived in CA for 41 years. Even owned rental properly in Fresno. Small world!
@@LifewithSerg I live in Fresno for 25 years. I went back to Thailand in 2016 and plan to visit again next June. Your videos make me home sick and make me to go back badly.
please add subtitles
RUclips is not generating subtitles today for some reason. I’ve been trying to add them for hours. Will add them as soon as they fix the problem.
i've never been to wat ta soong but i will go there one day. rue-si-ling-dam (black monkey hermit) is a very famous monk for the meditations and many supernatural stories. they said his body didn't decay after he died and is kept there at wat ta soong.
It was a great experience!
I have been to this province but did not see as much as you showed. Thank you for that! I don't mind dual pricing. Most Thai people make $200 USD or less per month for income.
Glad you enjoyed this video. Part two of this trip will be coming before the end of the week. Yah I’m ok with the dual pricing. If it helps pay for the upkeep of things, I’m all for it.
To discover this part of Thaïland, you need your privat car. Is thé problem. Everywhere in country is easy to rent small motorbike, but rent a car.....only Bangkok airport and Pattaya.
Yeah it’s far. My friend drove us there.

Such beautiful countryside. Glad you enjoyed this video.
I never go there must to soon.
So nice there
Wauw....something different than cars and bikes.... seen it before, bit can't get enough of it..... beautiful shots.
Maybe there are Buddha's representative for your day of birth. That's the one you donate to....
Turns out I donated to the public fund for welfare of locals. Works for me. Loved this place. Part 2 of this trip will be out later this week.
This temple simulates the land of Nirvana on earth. Nirvana is the land of pure crystal city , so most of pillars and roofs of this temple are made of crystal glass. In Buddhism there are so many Buddhas , 0:26 is the first Buddha or the Lord Emperor Buddha who dress up as a king , not like a monk.
Very interesting about the temple. Thanks for sharing!
You donated to "Public Welfare Fund". FYI.
Yeah, that’s what a few other people told me. I’m glad it worked out that way!
The money you donate is for social Support such as if any disaster in the society they will use this money.
Excellent. Thanks for letting me know.
In actuality, Uthai Thani has the most comprehensive nature. But wild animals are protected in this area. Find Mr.Seub Nakhasathien‘s tale, please. then you will comprehend.
Yes it was gorgeous!
