I got myself a beautiful blue lincoln town car 2007 SL with 80k miles. Bought it off a grandma. She was also the original owner… i stole the car for 7,250$.
I have a 2004 Lincoln Town Car with 17,000 miles on the clock and a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis with 29,000 miles on the clock. Both amazing machines and super comfortable rides. I bought both these cars based on Scotty's recommendations and paid WAY less than I would for any new car! Thank you so much, Scotty!!
Those were the most luxurious cars of its time and owned by Limo companies. They just didn't have a huge market reach. They were around 20k less than Mercedes and much better.
My 2004 Grand Marquis has 270k on the clock. It's my baby and I love it everyday day. I go back n forth from NJ to FL every 8 months. Zero problems, 100% reliable.
Had an 85 Grand Marquis. It was mint. White with red velour interior. My wife spun out in the rain and wrecked it. We were then gifted a 2001 Lincoln Continental. Not mint but ran great. She wrecked that one too. I then bought a 2005 Grand Marquis with 76,000 miles on it from the estate of a little old lady, 98 yrs. old, who passed away. The car is perfect. Needless to say, my wife will never be allowed to drive it.

I have a 2003 Grand MARQUIS LS. Got it as a gift from my Father in law 8 years ago before he died. It now has 160,000 miles. Runs great. I fixed things myself. Great videos on U tube. People say hey,it's a old man's car. I say have you looked at me lately , I'm going on 68.
I just got a 98 Grand Marquis with 130000 miles on it. I was looking at newer cars with huge price tags and years of payments and saw this video and thanks to Scotty I am happy with the purchase.
I'm 45, the car I learned to drive on and later owned was my father's 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis. When I found out they were ending production on these cars I bought a 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis in 2012 with 20K miles on it. It has 220K trouble free miles on it now. It has been the most reliable and cheapest car I have ever owned to maintain. My son will be 16 next year his first car will be that 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis.
That Guy...Same here. My father always bought nice cars. He bought Mercury Grand Marquis for many years, trading them in every 4 years. One exception was a 1983 AMC Eagle Wagon......What a great car! My Father used to joke that every once in a while Detroit would screw up and actually build a great car, lol. That Eagle and those Mercs were great cars.

I bought a 2000 Grand Marquis with 50,000 miles for $3,000 in perfect shape absolutely best $3,000 I ever spent in my life. Oh yeah 27mpg on the highway!
Your mileage is about what I got in my trips to the beach. I actually got 28 consistently on the 220 mile trip with some of it going two little towns where I had to slow down to 45 and each having a stoplight. 22MPH on the Highway, as stated by Scotty, isn't correct, at least in my long experience with my 99 GM.
Had 6 of em, a couple with ridiculous mileage on them 2 with over 300k, and none of them died, easy to work on mostly, cheap to fix, definitely one of the best cars ever made.
I remember back from growing up my Dad had a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis LS as a company car for a little while. It had the retro silver faced instrument cluster with backlit indigo lights, and the optional leather interior. It was all gray inside and out, and I referred to it as a baby Lincoln Town Car. We absolutely loved that car!
@@rustythebailiff9785 the crown vics weren't easy to modify for the electronic stability control that the law now requires for new cars. So, no more Panther platform. sob. The cops stopped using them, because they were no longer being produced. Our local police department bought 500 of them, so that they didn't need to change to the useless new cop cars....for several years.
Amazing car. My dad had a '97 marquis back in the day. I remember riding in that as a kid and thinking this is smooth!! That platform is bulletproof. Crown Vic, town car, etc. Go Ford!
Have to agree on Grand Marquis...my parents thought it was best idea have their 16 year old daughter drive 78 Grand Marquis 4 door....Yes we called it "The Tank".🤣 My next car to drive to college (From Dallas area to Beaumont or gulf coast) was an 85 Crown Victoria...Great on the highway and could fit EVERYTHING in the trunk...including the dorm fridge.🤣
I daily drive a 2000 towncar I bought 7 years ago for 300 bucks. It was a retired Vet who long longer had use of his legs and had been sitting in his driveway in south florida with a widow stuck down for 2 years. All I had to do to get it started was put a new battery in it. It was surreal watching the air suspension blow itself back up. Since then, All I've done outside of basic maintenance is replace a fuel pump and swap out the air suspension bags with a set of monroe struts after a few years since they developed leaks. Collectively this has cost me 500 bucks in repairs and has given me nearly 50k miles and is still going strong.
I bought one for $600 and it ran like a champ for years. I sold it for $900 5 years later after putting an additional 75,000 miles, total odometer was over 250,000 miles!
My father got his 08 Crown Vic and picked it up for $300, transmission had to be rebuilt but hey he’s a mechanic so him and his partner fixed it up! Runs beautiful, drove it for a year and half, and now it’s mine. I love it! Did so many mods and upgrades and can’t but get so many compliments from drivers around on my Vic. I’m blessed to have a my father and him to give me his car as my first 😄
you cant beat the panther body Ford Crownvictoria , Mercury Grand Marquise Lincoln also you just cant kill em lots of parts for em all over the 4,6 V8 are bullet proof no wonder taxi and limo use em all the time
Lincoln *Town Car.* The only one of the land yachts that's still made to this day. And it's aged relatively well. The current design still looks good, despite being awefully curvy.
Just got a 4.6 Mustang GT 2004 5 speed for this very reason. The toughest coolest most fun and affordable car I could find. The odometer doesn't work but I'm not even concerned at all.
I have always like them, big, old school, American, V8, real wheel drive car, reliable, comfortable. I like my Camry, Camry’s are good cars overall, but o like their Ford Panther Body cars.
I bought my Grand Marquis several months ago for $3,500 at 160k miles, previous owner was an old lady who took very good care of it, everything works perfectly. Honestly I'll probably keep it forever
Just keep an eye on the underbody/frame and keep it rust free and it can go pretty much forever. Sure, parts will wear out over time but, those can be replaced for cheap compared to most cars.
You will probably have to replace the Ball Joints which from the factory do not have grease fittings. (IF they do they were replaced already). Once they start making noise - do not hesitate. I would replace the Shock Absorbers as well. They are probably bad by now
One of my best oldest buddies has a 2002 Crown Vic with maybe 60K miles on it. He is an excellent mechanic, decorated with several certifications and he taught. He was going to broadcast a youTube channel just like you Scotty Kilmer. But his PKD got in the way. He loves watching you! I can't wait to tell my buddy what Scotty Kilmer said about his car.
I've had 1988, 1995, 2004 Grand Marquis. All retired due to New England road salt damage. Engines and transmissions still strong. My current 2007 is a Southern car experiencing its first New England winter, no rust at all. Should last me at least 10 years.
Bought my folks a Mercury Grand Marquis years ago and they loved it. Once my mom rolled it and that huge yacht landed back on its wheels. She spilled her coffee, but drove that car a few more years!
Mine just turned 100,000 miles. It's mint and sounds like new, cruises like a magic carpet, gets 28 mpg at 70 on flat ground, and hikes up her skirt and sprints when I put my foot down. It's so easy to work on too.
No joke....saw the headline and said “It’s gotta be either a Ford Town car or Grand Marquis”....same of course, but I was right. My friend’s parents had one back in the 80’s and it was indestructible and had a ride like being on a cloud. That thing ran and ran and ran....
Great point about being cheap to insure. Not enough people realize that, especially with rates going crazy in some states. You save SO much money driving an old boat like a Grand Marquis.
I’ve been driving my 06 crown Victoria for 8 years. Bought it when I was still in the marines. She’s a little beat up looking now, and I’ve been hit a few times by other people. My family always makes fun saying “oh, when are you going to get a new car?” This car in the last 8 years how outlasted everything other car of anyone in my family,… and they were all newer cars will less miles
Where i live that car would cost you 15 yo 20 k usd .....and if you asking where i live ...i live in syria....the cars cost you 4 times thier price in other countries...so sad
I just bought the same car....2006.... with 100k. Owned by a 96 year old woman. The interior looks new. I love it! A 2 ton car.... I'm a little nervous about winter driving with RWD....hoping the traction control keeps me. It's like taking a trip on your living room couch.
I own a 2008 Buick LeSabre with a 3.8 V6. It gets 28 miles per gallon on the interstate. Very reliable car. You can find these cars cheap just like crown Victorias and GrandMarc s . Unibody is not a problem in Arizona.
My grandpa had many Crown Vic/Marquis/Ltd until he passed last Oct. 25 mpg isn't impossible. Last one he bought, said he'd keep replacing engine/tranny until he died. He was a whisperer.
I have a 2003 Grand Marquis and I tow my 30' travel trailer with it. I have F150 front suspension on the rear and rear explorer struts on the front. Sway controller, brake controller, trans shift kit, and a towing tune. These cars are absolutely perfect. I still get 20-22 mpg as well!
Scotty, I'm an older wrench turner myself (40+) years. Lol.. Really enjoying your videos. It's almost like watching myself. Oddly, I just returned from NY with a FREE 2005 Lincoln Town Car, 70K on it now since driving home to Florida. Basically the same as this Merc GR Marq. Great cars. And they cruise at high speeds. ;) I had to replace the Alternator also. LOL. Great videos . I watch for the info and entertainment.
I love the Panther platform. I've had 3 of the 80s Vics, and a 94 Grand Marquis. I was a cabbie and Town Car driver for years. They are rugged and comfy.
I love my 07 Crown Vic. Now I have my Mom's 97 Town Car. I had to put front brakes, shocks all around, and sway bar end links. She didn't drive any more and it just gathered dust in the garage. Panthers are great cars.
I've had a few of these Grand Marquis over the years and they're hard to beat. Currently have an '03 w/ 72,000 miles and an '05 w/ 135,000 miles. Tried buying the wife a nice AWD SUV for these Michigan winters but she won't part with the old beast. Good snow tires and 100# of sand bags in the trunk and it's fine in the winter.
I would agree this was the last good Ford vehicle. The only other modern car I would consider would be a v8 cougar or a panther body. My 83 mark vi is going strong.
@@warrenwinslow4266 i have a hard time finding cars less than 15 years old that i would buy... but hey what i want is v8 rwd and seat in the back. what would be perfect for me is the crow vics... or even better the cougar/tbird after they put indepedent suspension in the back of the mustang and it became an overprice POS i wouldnt want one. the 2005-2014 is the last real mustang in my opinion. ford should just come back with the old style lineup pony cars/compact/midsize/fullzise all available in different trims with 6 and v8 and all rwd...all low tech and way cheaper. everyone and his cousin would want one id be happy to buy a brand new old style 2 doors fairlane to fullfill my midsize need. they'll never do it because they make the cash with the govt and not with customers ... so if you want a regular car buy a pick up they say...even those are going downhill
Scottie, you are 100% correct. I've owned a 1986, 1992, 1998 and now I have a 2007 Grand Marquis. All of them excellent and the rear main seal begins to leak at around 250,000 miles on the 4.6 Liter, even if you change with synthetic every 3,000 miles. My wife did not like the fact it left spots in her relative's driveway. I will buy a 2010 or 2011 next, perhaps with 80,000 on it and drive that for another 10 years. The best car. Mine had porosity in the fuel rail, the pretentioner failed in the seat belt retractor, the heater diverter door motor failed, AC compressor but that after 14 years all common issues with these cars. I'll keep it two more and buy one more.
Whenever your having a bad day, just put on a Scotty video and before you know that laugh and Donkey in the background will turn your sorrows into Laughter..... 😂🤣👍
For 29 years I worked for a Cab/car service company & my boss bought all the crown Vicks and grand Marquis used or old cop cars. In the NYC area. They went 400+ thousand miles with minimum service. Problems, the famous intake manifold, fuel pumps, rear axle bearings. Once in a while the oil filter housing gasket that leaked. Did lots of ball joints.
The Best was the Plymouth Valiant's with the 225 slant Six's. I sold mine ( 1964 V-200 Signet sedan ) with, 328,000 Miles. And still running strong. I paid $15.00 for it in 1978.
I know a guy who bought a 1973 Dart Swinger for $1000 in 1984, he still has it and it’s got 385,000 miles on it. The old MOPARs A-body cars with the slant 6 were the best and most reliable American cars ever made.
I just bought a ‘97 Crown Vic out of New York. Drove it 2200 miles home! Did have to change the alternator in a hotel parking lot but hey, it’s a 24 year old car! And it was a piece of cake to fix! I am constantly amazed as how cheap maintenance is! 127k miles and I’m looking to make it to 500k!
FYI, regarding the broken Bolt, purchase a Heli-coil kit. I have been using them for over 40 years and they are fantastic. You drill out the broken bolt, tap new threads and install a new bolt and you are done. Again, do your research to make sure you get the proper kit. Best of luck..........
If you have a newer car you want to keep looking nice, something like this is nice to have. Drive the cheap car to places like the grocery store where it will get door dings, keep the miles down on your new car. Also, if your insurance company has a multi-car discount, it might not cost much to insure the extra vehicle.
I love my old 2005 Crown Victoria police car. She’s old but the most dependable vehicle I’ve ever owned. Only 145000 miles on her but it always fire up and still ride great. Got just under 24 mpg on the highway on a trip to Florida and that was going 70 mph. I’m keeping her till the wheels fall off !
Love the old panther platform cars. The first car I ever daily drove was my grandmother's 2000 Lincoln Town Car that she let me use after she could no longer drive. Great car, only real complaint was that you had to - as Scotty says - aim it in the general direction you wanted to go instead of having tight, responsive steering. Would love to get a blacked out CVPI with push bar one day - cool looking cars.
The 2003+ chassis redesign addressed this exact issue. My '05 P71 can slalom pretty well. Honestly it's not going to slalom like a Corvette, it's heavy and still has some body roll, but it's definitely very good in the handling department. It doesn't wallow in the corners the way the older ones did.
I have an F-150 with the exact same engine as these Panther cars have. It is incredibly reliable. I drive it from Idaho to California and back once a year and it runs perfectly every time I go.
I have two Crown Victoria's. Love them. One is a police interceptor. Panther Platform cars are by far my favorite aside from 60's and 70's cars. Vintage cars are cool but the Crown Vics and Grand Marquis' are just cost effective and practical. Plus so comfortable and enjoyable.
My first car was an 05 crown Vic, an amazing vehicle! Ended up rolling it on black ice (New England Winters 🤷🏻♂️). Definitely want to grab another one for cheap.
Just hit 153000 miles ( two years of ownership)on my Mercury Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition. It's my first car and honestly I'm not trading it for anything only problem I had was the blend door actuator going out. It's not the fastest car but boy it sounds good. Also mine comes with heated seats
I have a 1986 Grand Marquis and a 1994 Grand Marquis, each with 110k actual miles. AC works great in the '94. Both get verifiable 26-27 mpg. I drive a 2006 Lincoln with 122k; it gets 18mpg. All three run great and ride like clouds. Solid, powerful, graceful! Bravo panthers!
I've had two panther cars, an 08 town car and currently a 08 Crown Victoria. I average 25 mpg all around with the crown Victoria, the Lincoln was just a little less.
Mr. Scotty...you ARE SO RIGHT!!! I have had a problem car for years. We had no money, husband bought at co-part here in CA. Car was shipped from New Jersey. My car is supposed to be great Toyota Rav4, BUT because we bought is salvaged ... problem after problem after problem! So...I decided I needed to find a new great job (just moved) and save as much as I can and lean toward Honda this time.
The only cars I use in 100 lap enduro racing! There’re so tough I can finish the race and drive it onto my trailer, paint it another colour and use it for next months race !!!
My former 95 Grand Marquis got 28 mpg highway. I sold it with 450,000 still running fine with the AC still going strong. I just got sick of replacing window regulators. Probably still be driving it if it had manual windows
I don’t want to jinx it. I was about to buy a new Mercedes and looked into youtube for reviews. After navigating through all the other phoney liars, I came across Scotty. Scotty changed my mind completely about Cars and how I look at them now. I now own a used Toyota Corrolla 2005. Runs like charm and doesn’t bite me in the back with any EMI. Thank you Scotty! You saved me from falling into an endless money pit.
In 1987 I drove a new Crown Victoria with the 5 liter and the automatic transmission with the overdrive, if I remember correctly it was fuel injection. A very nice ride Hallelujah. It was marine blue, beautiful car.
Can't say I disagree, my grandfathers 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis is still running strong and he has no plans to get a more modern car. I used to make fun of it, but it truly is an F-150 in car form, (trunk is massive) and the pillow soft ride cant be found in any newer design. He even says he can get 25 mpg on highway trips which isnt bad for such a big heavy car with a V8. Even so, all the money he's saved on repairs/monthly car payment all these years can buy many many tanks of gas.

It had the retro silver faced instrument cluster with backlit indigo lights, and the optional leather interior. It was all gray inside and out, and I referred to it as a baby Lincoln Town Car. We absolutely loved that car!
It’s a shame Ford discontinued Crown Victoria and V8 expedition.
Really, what was going on inside their mind.
$$$$$$$$$$$
Sales. No one was buying them. They kept it alive to keep building the Crown Vic for cop cars. When those contracts ended, so did the panther program.
True $$$, but also emissions and fuel mileage standards that they could not meet...
MPG and emission regulations
They are popular with senior citizens, and can be found with ultra-low mileage for a great price.

I really love my 03! Just by one today 3,500$ 80k miles ,she’s an 8/10 and im gonna keep it for a loong time🙏
I have owed several of these and 1 Crown Vic, too. Often got 27 MPG on the Highway. Safe and comfortable in a way modern cars can only dream of.
you cant beat the panther body Ford Crownvictoria , Mercury Grand Marquise Lincoln also you just cant kill em lots of parts for em all over the 4,6 V8 are bullet proof no wonder taxi and limo use em all the time
Lincoln *Town Car.*
The only one of the land yachts that's still made to this day. And it's aged relatively well. The current design still looks good, despite being awefully curvy.
@@davecrupel2817 it’s not made anymore. Production ended in 2011
Just got a 4.6 Mustang GT 2004 5 speed for this very reason.

They are probably bad by now
@@Thommadura yeh, I had to replace those.
Ditto.👍👍😎
I drove a 2009 Grand Marquis for 10 years.. LOVED IT!!!!!! traded it in for 2019 Lincoln Nautilus.. what a gigantic MISTAKE!!!!!!!
Those suvs look cool, has it been in the shop?
Im a Marquis owner and a Ford Tech, Id take the Marquis over the Nautilus any day lol
Buying a Lincoln is always a mistake; I am genuinely sorry for your loss.
@@2tooful- why do you need to know "has Lincoln been in the shop?"
As an owner of a 2003 Grand Marquis with 75K miles, this video makes me proud. I love the panther platform. It’s practically indestructible.
Have a 09 P71 with 161k miles. Bought it at 140k miles. Always starts up strong and has never left me stranded.
I just bought a 2004 with 83k miles it’s in great condition with no mechanical issues.

Lol lol. That Starbucks costs more than gas! Glad your mom was ok.
I agree. I’ve owned three of them, never had any problems
What I like about Scotty is the way hee valued function over form. Agreed.
Scotty gets on my nerves sometimes. Maybe some Fella will make him a future First 48 victim.
HEE HEE🕺
I love the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Maurauder, Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Town Car, Simply The Best !!!!!!
That 4.6 L runs like a champ. God bless Scotty. John 3:16/ Matthew Chapter 24/ Revelation 6:15. Maranatha!
Amen
Mine just turned 100,000 miles. It's mint and sounds like new, cruises like a magic carpet, gets 28 mpg at 70 on flat ground, and hikes up her skirt and sprints when I put my foot down. It's so easy to work on too.
I am a GM guy .......but still love those old school Ford Lincoln Mercury panther body cars .......rock solid good riding automobiles
I really like my 2000 Crown Vic P71 with the street package. I did have to put new bushings and ball joints but it's an easy job. 👍
Agreed! I'm inheriting my Dad's '92 Lincoln Town Car.. will be picking it up soon.. so anxious to get my mits on it and make it perfect!
No joke....saw the headline and said “It’s gotta be either a Ford Town car or Grand Marquis”....same of course, but I was right. My friend’s parents had one back in the 80’s and it was indestructible and had a ride like being on a cloud. That thing ran and ran and ran....
As a long time Grand Marquis owner, I thought the same thing.
My family always makes fun saying “oh, when are you going to get a new car?”
This car in the last 8 years how outlasted everything other car of anyone in my family,… and they were all newer cars will less miles
2005 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with 144,000 miles…drives like a dream and almost owned her for 4 years!
Jeez. Where I'm at this would probably go for $4000-$5000 easy. That's a HUGE steal.
5k? Woow. Even with the chip sh*t shortage and me living in one of the most expensive areas (san Francisco) you can find one for 3k. Where u at?!? 😮
I’m sure there was a “catch”. There’s always one.
1500 dollar clunker 🤣🤣
Where i live that car would cost you 15 yo 20 k usd .....and if you asking where i live ...i live in syria....the cars cost you 4 times thier price in other countries...so sad
Insurance gave my pops $5500 for his with 150k when he got rear ended.

I just bought the same car....2006.... with 100k. Owned by a 96 year old woman. The interior looks new. I love it! A 2 ton car.... I'm a little nervous about winter driving with RWD....hoping the traction control keeps me. It's like taking a trip on your living room couch.
Scotty, I so enjoy your Videos. You tell like it is & you’re just a good guy. Keep up the awesome job you’re doing & may God bless you!!!
Those cars have stood the test of Time. Ive seen these and Crown Vics, Lincolns with over 300k still driving
How'd you get it for free tho?
I love the Panther platform. I've had 3 of the 80s Vics, and a 94 Grand Marquis. I was a cabbie and Town Car driver for years. They are rugged and comfy.
I love my 07 Crown Vic. Now I have my Mom's 97 Town Car. I had to put front brakes, shocks all around, and sway bar end links. She didn't drive any more and it just gathered dust in the garage. Panthers are great cars.
Scotty has so much energy and passion...he is such an inspiration!
I'll probably sleep all the time at that age. I do now anyway lol
Just got a 03 marquis with 64000 miles mint.. picked that cherry fast she's awesome
Sad, a car that good will never be made again by Ford
Ford has seriously gone downhill lately. I'll never own any Ford made after 2008 again.
I would agree this was the last good Ford vehicle. The only other modern car I would consider would be a v8 cougar or a panther body. My 83 mark vi is going strong.
@@warrenwinslow4266 i have a hard time finding cars less than 15 years old that i would buy... but hey what i want is v8 rwd and seat in the back. what would be perfect for me is the crow vics... or even better the cougar/tbird
after they put indepedent suspension in the back of the mustang and it became an overprice POS i wouldnt want one. the 2005-2014 is the last real mustang in my opinion.
ford should just come back with the old style lineup pony cars/compact/midsize/fullzise all available in different trims with 6 and v8 and all rwd...all low tech and way cheaper. everyone and his cousin would want one
id be happy to buy a brand new old style 2 doors fairlane to fullfill my midsize need. they'll never do it because they make the cash with the govt and not with customers ... so if you want a regular car buy a pick up they say...even those are going downhill
I bought my towncar for 500 and put 100,000 miles on her. Brakes once and oil changes that's it.
Yeah I remember the breaks lasted 100k miles on my dad's Grand Marquis.
It's amazing the quality of many cars built from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. As great a 10 year period as ever.
That's fantastic Info--you are such a blessing, thank you!! have a wonderful day.
Back in the 70s the marquess was a really super luxury ride
FYI, regarding the broken Bolt, purchase a Heli-coil kit. I have been using them for over 40 years and they are fantastic. You drill out the broken bolt, tap new threads and install a new bolt and you are done. Again, do your research to make sure you get the proper kit. Best of luck..........
If you have a newer car you want to keep looking nice, something like this is nice to have. Drive the cheap car to places like the grocery store where it will get door dings, keep the miles down on your new car. Also, if your insurance company has a multi-car discount, it might not cost much to insure the extra vehicle.
New cars are like marrying beautiful women both needs a lot of money to maintain them
I have my 99 GM as an extra vehicle and it only cost $80.00 a year more.
I have an 06 Town Car. Thing rides like a dream and has been incredibly reliable. Panther platform cars are hard to beat except in gas mileage
I knew it would be this car. 1999 Crown vic and still strong 💪🏻
I have a 97 and it handles great. I can throw it around corners and I live up in the mountains.
I drove a maroon with maroon interior. We had a Mercury/Lincoln dealership in the 80’s in New Mexico. Nice ride back then.
I got a 1974 Chrysler Newport for $100 back in 1996 and all it needed was a new muffler.
I got a 74 Newport in trade for a 64 Dodge truck that barely ran. I bought the truck at a towing auction for 25 bucks. Around 2003.
I've driven the panthers for years! Best car to own!
My first car was an 05 crown Vic, an amazing vehicle! Ended up rolling it on black ice (New England Winters 🤷🏻♂️). Definitely want to grab another one for cheap.
I miss my 95' Lincoln town car! That thing was a beast!
Great car and now no more Merc's! ---
I have a 1986 Grand Marquis and a 1994 Grand Marquis, each with 110k actual miles.
Yup I have a 2001 Crown Vic with 155,000 on it, I love this car!
I have a 2004 Mercury Marauder, been loving it since I got it, its a great daily driver
Just picked up a 96 in near mint condition and I'm loving it

My former 95 Grand Marquis got 28 mpg highway. I sold it with 450,000 still running fine with the AC still going strong. I just got sick of replacing window regulators. Probably still be driving it if it had manual windows
My 99 TownCar that required 91 octane consistently got 27 mpg at 73 mph on interstates. Sold it, profit... Mistake.

Thank you Scotty! You saved me from falling into an endless money pit.
I just got a 99 crown Victoria for a dollar from a family member. . Runs good.
98 and 99 are great years! They have the older Box steering like a truck. I think today an F250 and up share the same setup
@@alb12345672 good to know. The steering is very light. It takes a minute to get used to it.
I have a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis 63,000 miles on it. I've had it for 3 years now. Very very reliable car.
