Stopped playing a couple of weeks into S1, Im justt so sick and tired of time gating. It's not fun. Let me play when I can play, not on Blizzards fucking schedule.
Because they are totally out of touch with their community, it's always the same story every xpac. Nobody likes 20 man raiding especially in mythic, too hard to find people and keep them interested in a 2-3 months progress. Nobody likes depleting over and over again their key, doing the same key level for the 99 th time, because their system is so stupid. Pvp is a joke at this point, at 1800 mmr you are against multi glad / R1 players, you can also go against chas or raiku or whaaz, like what ? So i'm not that surprised that brewmaster is in a trash state since Dragonflight.
also who cares if brew is immortal in raids, tanks don´t get brought on the highest level because they survive, all tanks do that (usually), they get brought because of utility and dmg. and everyone else just brings the tank that is willing to play tank in the first place.
The semi-bugged experience in the delves of not being able to see your pug teammates until you all zone into the instance is just ridiculous. I’m surprised they still haven’t addressed it by now? Why can’t it just function like a cross-faction party like in 5 men dungeons? And why no summoning stones?!
This is a rough stance Llarold. Aug is definitely something that needs tuning but I think it's something we could use more of. They might not WANT to make 5 more specs but they should. Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Warlock, and Hunter could all benefit from adding a fourth spec designed must like Aug. Breathing new life into the oldest of classes. This game needs more things to do with what we have instead of more bloat and definitely doesn't need to have things taken away from it.
yea, it has a really nice playstyle niche and the game can stand more of it. I also don´t think the game needs to be balanced around the top 0,1%, and even then the problem is more dmg in dungeons outscalling mobhealth, so survival is more of an issue than dps. Blizz could have easily fixed that by capping dmg scalling at e.g. 15 and only scale health from then on. I bet it would have also made the dungeons more enjoyable overall.
We agree with your last sentence, but we also know what to expect from Blizzard. Enhancement literally has it in the name, but it doesn't offer what Aug does.

only logic I can see for the delve cap is they figure anyone doing this for crest is likely stuck in heroic gear and only needs 2 gear upgrades per item so that is maxing one every other week so they would finish right around the end of the season. Think it is bad logic and should be at least 30 so you can craft an item every 2 week instead of every 4 which is the more likely use for delve only mythic crest.
The Delve crest comment about them not holding the W for too long was so spot on. Predictably so, WoW is constantly its own worst enemy when it comes to actually making the game fun.

I'm not personally in favor of the removal of aug. WoW could absolutely use a support role, it's (IMO) a great way to spice up gameplay moving into the remainder of the World Soul Saga. I agree the support idea is half baked, but I'm more in favor of them adding more (I recognize the challenges, but this is Magical Christmas Land and I want what I want) than removing one. Give me a: Warlord spec on Warrior (Sword and Shield, Banners and Shout support spec) Scout spec on Hunter (emphasize on the mark, spotting, etc) IMO rename Enhancement to Primalist, then add a support Enhancement spec to Shaman Chronomancer Mage
Yeah…I don’t understand them on the constant no flying crap. Can’t uncork that genie, it’s been out for way too long, They need to let it go. Just let people fly if they want but add the fast ground mounts? Why block people from doing something they want to do in your game lol. Personally I like delves, m+ system wrecked and community too sweaty and shitty to deal with.
There's nothing they can add or do to convince me that forced ground travel is better than or a 'fun alternative to' flight. At all. This bs crusade (which, appropriately enough is /roughly/ the expac where they started regretting adding flight at all!) where they keep removing it just to earn it back(and by the sound 11.1 won't even have that breadcrumb) is kind of pathetic. If somewhere I want to get to is a level above me, having to go across, up a ramp, and then back will never be better, more convenient, or more fun than getting on something airworthy and hopping up to it. It's like trying to make the 3 hour coach ride to an amusement park interesting. I'll do it, but for the same reason as I hit 'Play' - it's a necessary step to do what I enjoy.
Delves should have been a viable alternative to other end game gearing options. Instead, Blizzard did what Blizzard does, and gave us some interesting, fun, but ultimately rather pointless something to do.

you have to look past just this season, all of DF when aug created its been meta and takes away a dps spot for other specs because in DF it was completely broken
They want delves to be a stepping stone and some of the community is acting like they should be the end game activity. which is fine if thats what u want to do but in no way should you be getting high level gear solo its already breaking the game that they get heroic level gear, which is flooding m+ with players not prepared into the system that is harder than it ever has been.
Your opinion confuses me. You say delves are a stepping stone but they upset that delves filter players into mythic+. The solution here seems pretty simple. Just give delve players a reward track that can be fully upgraded by doing delves. Then nobody will feel obligated to jump into m+ to finish gearing.

@XAn0nymousX0 m+ doesn't even have a track for full max level gear atm you get 1 piece a week if your lucky. I'm honestly mad that they took mythic gear out of the dungeons. Why do you need max level gear for deleves? I know why I need max level gear for m+ higher than 11s.
Blizzard's pitch for Delves in the run up to TWW was explicitly that they would be an equivalent endgame pillar with comparable rewards to the rest of the established endgame. T11 Delves are the only source of Gilded Crests from Delves. Their in-game language for Tier 11 Delves is "For players who want an unfathomable challenge." Does that sound like something intended for casual players?
@@WoWatNight have you done a T11 delve? They are not an 'unfathomable challenge' they are very fathomable events. A T11 delve is not comparable in difficulty to any content that awards gilded crests. If blizz ups the challenge on them then it would be fine.
Blizzard is slow walking the roll out of functionality of delves to avoid a great outcry from M+. At first, Tier 9-11 was for bragging rights only. Next, we add a few gilded crests to introduce the idea. Later, we up the cap. Eventually no one cares.
M+ blows. In large part because of the RNG (the crutch of lazy developers). I got to #6 of my class/spec on my server in a prior season and it killed the whole thing for me. It's boring, toxic AF, and too time consuming.

I hope the DRIVE mechanic sets the ground work for reworking ground mounts and making them relevant again

enhance shaman is in all high m+ runs and still the best dps in dung and raids why they focusing on aug since this is only playable spec for evoker

@RhodesianSuperiority exactly my dev evoker might not be braking charts but Def up on top 3 dps in raids pretty often
In raid prev is nerfed and dev is below average check logs / in dung dev is one of the worst dmg dealers
