      @@CodyMcDonald89 I think so. It's not a supersport but for the 750 motor it has plenty of get up and go. Fastest I have had it is 120 on the interstate. And she still had more to give. This bike is by far my favorite so far.

    I just got a 2020. Rode my 2018 for an 11 hour day (with stops here and there) and it was WAY better than my k7 gsxr750 and any liter bike I have had. Super comfortable compared to the supersports, and its a 4.2 gallon tank :)

      @@tat2wheelz had narrowed it down to either the Yam MT07, MT09, SV650, or this. I think the MT09 would be a bit OTT for me, as have only been back on the road again for a year, and the MT07 has mixed reviews, some people hav picked up the suspension is a bit floaty and soft, and has no adjustment other than rear preload. This bike so ive watched and read, is well planted and feels stable at all speeds, has nice sharp, peogressive brakes, has decent suspension, linear power range thats nice and progressive, the only negative ive heard of is the bars being a bit narrow. Might grow on me might not, but if not, swapping out a set of bars is hardly a major job lol.
      The SV650 i did the tuition days to brush up on techniques before my test on one, and the seat didnt suit me at all. Got uncomfortable after a while.
      Then finally there's the look of this too. The blue, gold and black, i really like it.

    • @tat2wheelz
      @tat2wheelz  4 года назад

      @@kf8575 yes I have rode the mt07 and I didn't like the power on the top end. The low was great but the bike lacks so much on the top. The 650 is great to get back into the swing. But the gsxs750 is the perfect blend of all of them. The mt09 would be great in addition to this one if wheelies is your thing. But the 750 can be a wheelie monster all on its own. And the bars are easy to swap. Renthal FAT bars would be awesome on it.

    I've got a 2018 sv650 and I hated the low rpm assist too. It would throw me off a lot too especially whenever I was trying to do any low speed maneuvers that required you to work the clutch in the friction zone - all of a sudden I'd get a surge in acceleration that I didn't want. Anyhow I ended up unbolting the low rpm assist from underneath the clutch and then I tied it to the handlebar using twine - now the bike operates the way it should. 😁. I wish Suzuki would provide an option to just turn that stupid feature off. Funny thing is I'm still a beginner myself, I've only been riding for about a year but I never found it useful. It's definitely no substitute for proper training in how to work the clutch and throttle at the same time.

    • @tat2wheelz
      @tat2wheelz  5 лет назад

    My question on the throttle assist is this. What does it do if you are stopped on a steep incline? Does it still function as if it were on level pavement? I always try to go with just keep it simple. To much just over complicates things. Course I just went from a slide phone to a smart phone this year. I just resist tech. Agree with the throttle assist comments .... and find it creates a kind input lag for experienced riders ... I’m use to like u said managing the clutch and knowing exactly the contact point ... with this bike it’s like u can’t just gun it off take off ... you have slightly delay the action because it’s trying to assist ... good for bumper to bumper traffic but no where else ... I would have like the ability to switch it off ... thanks for the review ... very well done

    Hey Tat2,,I just picked up my new 2019 Gsxs 750z here in Australia,, I know you can increase some Bhp by correct break in according to Brock Davidson, and I also have a Yoshi Alpha T slip on which gives you 2.5 torque and Bhp ..Can we find out perhaps how much bhp are the Aussie models please ... Thanks and great Reviews...I also have a 2018 1200 HD stage 1 Roadster that produces 80 bhp and 79 Torque and pulls a 106 mph in third gear alone which makes me think we are perhaps on the higher end of scale as most of the USA guys don't believe that and I've been kicked of some sportster sites when replying to someone's question.. No big deal but I'm curious if my GS has now closer to 118-120 bhp compared to some other countries...

    I actually just bought this bike couple days ago. Not at all impressed with power. For a 750cc to make 99.6whp is pretty embarrassing. My 06cbr600rr made a couple digits more than that. The torque is also nothing amusing. If you like face and chest full of wind, that’s what you’ll get from this bike. It handles corners very well and flicks over effortlessly with a great range of turn. If you have the funds to get this bike, I highly recommend coming up with a little more money to get the liter version. Definitely much more power and performance than the 750

    • @tat2wheelz
      @tat2wheelz  5 лет назад +4

      Well I wouldn't begin to compare this bike to a supersport bike which the cbr 600rr is. This 750 is a mid-level bike in the hyper naked class so the engine is a old non-supersport version of the 2005 model. Compared to a bike in the same class this bike is hands down faster than the MT07 and Ninja 650. If you are lacking on the torque side make sure your TC levels are at a 1 or off. Trust me this bike is a wheelie machine with TC off. As far as the wind goes, in my video you will hear me say that mine has a small windscreen which really helps move the wind up over the head. I had the liter version of this bike and I was not impressed with it. Too touchy in the throttle and over powered for the weight of the bike. I want to enjoy the ride and not have to wrestle with the throttle on roads like the Dragon which we ride often. So in conclusion, when compared apples to apples this 750 is one of the best performers in its class. I just do not understand why anyone would compare it to a supersport bike which has more in terms of power, handling, and overall performance than this bike ever will... Thanks for the reply!

    • @RouletteRider
      @RouletteRider 5 лет назад

      tat2 wheelz
      That wasn’t a comparison. It was a reference. I still don’t agree with what you’re articulating about performance. It’s 750cc and the power sucks. For that many cc’s, the torque and horsepower is embarrassing. Look at the dyno chats between the 750 and the liter of this same bike. There’s like at least a difference of 50 or more in horsepower and in torque. I am not impressed with Suzuki in this bike.

    • @tat2wheelz
      @tat2wheelz  5 лет назад +2

      @@RouletteRider a point of reference on two different bikes and engines is not a good way to make a point to me. Does the 750 have less hp than a supersport? Yes. Does the 750 have less hp and torque than the 1000? Duh... does it beat others in the Same class? Absolutely. So I get what you are trying to say and I say some bikes aren't for some. I like this bike and ride with supersport riders all the time and have zero problems hanging with them. Could it have a bit more hp? Yes it could. Hopefully Suzuki will mod the motor a bit for that. Until then I enjoy riding this bike more that its 1000 counterpart. I have owned both.
