Nice review! i concur! I got this same color beauty on 26.12.2019. Upgraded from a six year old CBR 250R. Owned a few bikes.. Yamaha RD350, Royal Enfield 350, The ceeber, and a triumph trident, which was a 3 cylinder 900cc. This bike (stock) is wonderful. Smoot smooth ride. Works great in traffic. i cruise at 70 kmph in 6th while in traffic, and can drop down to 50, or go all the way up to 200 when it gets clear...its almost like riding an automatic. Great sound post 5000 rpm. This bike is amazing value for money. Put on a Yoshimura alpha t , and you'll never want to stop going.
Is it smooth by any chance? :) So, we didn't see you pull away from the dealers. I had its bigger 1000cc brother out for a test ride and stalled it 4 or 5 times in front of an audience! They both have some sort of clutch assist and the bite point is very immediate (unlike my Triumph Explorer which only bites as the lever is almost out of your fingers). PS. the 1000cc stealth version looks like something Batman would ride and sounded so good I had to ask the dealer if it really was the factory standard can on it. I normally write my reviews for the club magazine, maybe I need to do some video ones for my channel.
The "roar" you hear comes from the air box, not from the exhaust. The exhaust sounds decent but it's not the "growl" you hear after 5000... It does indeed sound nice and it's a great bike for the price. No useless gimmicky tech just to have more things to break.
Great to c u guys . Happy New Year. The Suzuki 750 and 1000 r great value using old technology with an old engine design . Recycled tech makes it less expensive . U have to love it for what it is. We’re the people driving by in the red car signaling a hand gesture? Lol.
Thanks for the review. Timely as it's on my options list. Any comment around starting and moving off? I've heard that the electronics put the revs up around 3000 on pull away , necessitating having to slip the clutch? Your experience Toby? HNY guys.
I have the 2019, idle is 950rpm, the "rev assist" raises the rpm up around 1300 when the clutch lever is slowly released . If that's what you are asking.
@@richedwards4651 sorry for the late reply, just got the notification for some reason. Anyways, no issues for me other than remembering that it exists. If I remember and expected to happen, it's really wonderful, but on the other hand if I forget about it, I tend to give it up just a tad bit more gas than I want. Nothing to cause a wreck, just a surprise.
Hey guys! Happy New Year! What an awesome bike to start 2020. Passed my A2 track tests recently. Road lessons and test this month. Big bike show in Lyon in February if you fancy a road trip?! I'm tempted by the Moto Guzzi V85tt. Whaddya think?
Nice video, I'm a beginner motorcyclist, my first bike at age 48 end am small 166cm,, so which bike of this equation is right for me? I drive daily to work in the city and also the highway and sometimes during a weekend round of recreational so, which one? don't like Adventure such an engine, love Naked bike so what is your opinion? or Suzuki GSX-S 1000 is beter
Love the engine wail. The wind is rough even for a naked and this bike needs a small screen to smooth out the air flow. Agree with comments about the licence. This thing just wants to fly. But easy to ride around town though.
Hi there! Firstly: Thank you for your many awesome reviews. Really good coverage! But. however, hence you guys are so fond of BMW GS´s, howcome you haven´t made a review of the BMW F750GS?
Thank you for the review... I am currently riding 2017 NInja 650 and soooo torn between Suzuki GSX-S750Z and Ninja 1000 SX ! I do not have to ride faster than 110 mph (which even my 650 can easily do).... Considering the practicality (costs and weight), I should go for the Suzuki GSX-S750Z, but then.... Ninja 1000SX is a lot more luxurious along with other techs ! .... Decisions... Decisions.... Should I go for Z900 ???? Oh well.. :(
This is an old one now but ia ma subbed and seriously thinking of trading in my old XJR 12 for one or maybe keeping it and just having this piece of fun to blat about on it has more horses than mine and is lighter to so win win . Nice one guys 👍👌
@4:57 It is a detuned gixxer engine from 2005. If you aren't that thin cow skin wearing young deadbeat but still want a gixxer engine, this is the next best thing.
They light up the road so so much better, and if you buy one with a cutoff shield and have it properly adjusted, you won't be blinding oncoming traffic.
I particularly enjoy British reviews of motorcycles. The enthusiasm and nifty use of the Queen's language is refreshing.
And they never worry about where they are going to carry their guns on their bikes!
I bought the bike last month in part due to this review, it's without a doubt the best bike I've ever had, love every aspect of it.
Smart chap buying in the winter
@@danbev9313 for sure, I'm a year round rider anyway, and prices are always more reasonable

Bought mine yesterday. Took a testride, fell in love with it.
Lithium battery is a nice upgrade. Brings down the weight a bit.
Gsx-s 750 has a normal clutch or slipper clutch?
@@PB-cv1ge Good old classic clutch plates
13:30 fantastic how you describe the feeling being on this bike. Spot on!
Got a 2020 last week. It's great
I have this bike in last years model, had it for a year now and I still love it. No complaints.
Very good review, I am getting one in two months, same colour, just waiting for nicer weather.

Lol, embarrassing. I've been there, not gonna lie.

Great review by you. Was very helpful in choosing my new bike. Makes a lot of fun. Keep up the good work.
Loaned a GSX-S 1000F a couple of years ago.
Boy o boy!
Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde!
Imagine the bike without any of the auditory goodness. That would be the experience of an electric motorcycle.
no
All the best for the New Year guys. Nice review Toby.

Simon Thomas well done! V85tt awesome!!!!
Great, thanks guys. All the reviews about it are positive. And a first bike should be special I think....
Every kind of GSXR derived engine is fantastic and bullet proof too. HOF motor!
The 750 will sound and go bettter with a Yoshi alpha t and k& n filter.... and as a bonus a few extra hp and nm of torque👍
I have mine set up that way and it sounds great!

Steer clear from liter bikes of any kind as a beginner, buy something with less power and nm. Get a Kawasaki Z650, or a Suzuki SV650.
Good review again guys. Happy New Year to you both.
Great review guys and happy new year to you both

I've found it to have clean air even on the highway - no turbulence.
U know the old saying, you only live once. If the bike makes u that happy, buy it.
bought mine last week Wednesday I haven't picked it up yet.
Great review. Thank you. Greetings from Poland.

Awesome review!
You could improve the headlight with a hid or led projector. Retrofit it
This bike has no quick shifter sir?
Got a nice amount of torque on it wow
Heard some reviews on the HealTech's after market up and down quick shifter for the GSX-S750... any comments?
Unfortunately no. Ride safe.
Looks like a lot of fun but I need my license!
Dream bike😍

5'10"
Led lights are whiter, and blind oncoming traffic, but don't light up the road any better!

I want to ride on top of a wasp too! > _
That noise is destined to get you into trouble.
bar end mirrors!!
Not so fin to look at ur helmet all the time..love the video tho
Is this salad fingers? 😂
In seconds... 2 seconds or 8 seconds. Bad info at least
Happy New Year Toby Mark.
Nice review as always.
