    Excellent review. Everyone always wants to replace the muffler but with the stock muffler the big is quiet and still very fast. This Suzuki is a bike that could fill every street bike you need for a very long time, cheaply and reliably. It does not get better than that.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +1

      Yes the stock exhaust is quiet but the bike is still powerful and fast, the owner is planning to change the muffler later in the future because every bike owner wants to hear their bike sing, in this case, the beautiful inline four song.. Hahaha. Thanks for viewing!

    Good review. However, one thing to point out, this bike does not have an Assist & Slipper clutch. It does have Low RPM Assist though.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +2

      Huh! I thought it did, the non rev matching down shifts were not that jerky and no wheel locking/hopping.. Maybe that's a Suzuki engine characteristic.. My bad! Thanks for pointing it out! 🫡

    Thank you for another simple, yet brilliant review ! Sad they wont be making more middleweights of this configuration anymore, the market is shifting towards twins nowadays.
    Though one had to ask, how does it feel compared to Z800 ? ( I think its the closest competitor as far as spec sheet goes )

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +5

      Yup the trend seems to be twins, better hurry and get all the i-4s before they become rare! 😂 It's been a while since I last had a go on the Z8, this GSX-S750 is definitely much lighter feel, has the traction mode, overall I think this S750 would have an upper edge over the Z8 but looks wise the Z8 looks fiercer.. 😁 Thanks for viewing

    Got the bike this May in the exact same color. I've put 12 500km on her this season, only shows how much I LOVE HER!! Only did the tail tidy, frame sliders and have put Yoshimura AT2 exhaust on. The stock S21 Battlax are nice sticky tires, but the rear would only last about 4 000km. Went through 2 rears in 8 000km and then put the Pirelli Angel GT, not as grippy on the edge, but much more durable, currently 6 000km and plenty of tire left. The bike is a beauty especially in those colors and I get lots of compliments from non-bike people about the looks.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks for sharing your feedback about the bike, good to see you are super happy with your GSX-S750! The Suzuki blue really is a color of it's own cannot be mistaken or something else. Yes the tires are sweet but doesn't last that long, a normal trade off for grip VS durability. Ride safe and safe ride!

    Fun review. great bike, underrated in my view. There is no slip and assist clutch just a very nice gear box. The wind is others than others and it needs a little screen.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +1

      Yup the gears were so smooth I thought it had it.. Naked bikes always have the wind issue it's part of the style, wind shield definitely help but the naked style is compromised. Thanks for viewing!

      @@thesighbored It's a got fantastic gear box, and not to much engine braking, so it is very forgiving. Also, hard to miss a shift with this level of mechanical precision.

    I'm torn between this bike and the MT-07. While I do love the MT-07, I don't know if I could ever step away from the amazing sound of an inline 4. I wish the R7, GSX-8R, and many other bikes like it would just keep the inline-4 instead shifting to the parallel twin. Kawasaki seems like the only one staying true to themselves with the ZX25RR, ZX4RR, and other models keeping that amazing sound on even the smallest of displacement bikes.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  5 месяцев назад

      I agree, Kawasaki seems to be the only one that is keep with the inline four where the rest are dropping cylinders, they are bringing back the small cc inline four.. My personal opinion, go with the S750, it's a nice bike to ride and you won't be unhappy hearing that inline four running..

    Hi. I just recently owned the GXS-S750. I need to thank to you because i just realized that there has an slipper clutch downshift when i about to enter the corner lol. But anyway thank you 😄
    And can confirm the vibrations is from the phone holder not from the bike.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +2

      Actually someone had pointed out it doesn't have assisted slipper clutch, I guess the engine braking is smooth so you don't get a lot of it when down shifting, best practice is to rev matching down shifts.. Sorry for any mistake on my part and thanks for verifying the phone holder is the vibration culprit!

    Currently riding the 2023 z250. I almost think of upgrading everyday honestly but the the dilemma is between Gsx 750 or Z900. Tough choice.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  3 месяца назад

      At the moment the Z9 looks a bit more updated with TFT and also the optional Special Edition goodies, but at base price (not SE), the Z9 edges the S750 by being slightly affordable. However you will be paying RM100 extra yearly for road tax for the Z9 though. And I believe this S750 will be discontinued in replacement by the 8S?

    Amazing bike. Only complaint from my part is how heavy it is. I’m only 130 pounds and 5 foot 9. So if it goes down I won’t be able to hold it. Compared with the MT-09, super duke 1290, Ducati v4 supernaked etc you can definitely notice how much more heavy is the GSXS750

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  Год назад +2

      Well the MT-09 is a triple, and the Ducati is premium price for premium materials. Personally I don't feel that this S750 is overly heavy, the weight is quite standard to me for a bike of this category. If you ride it daily your muscle memory will make it effortless to move the bike around, just like how my friend moves his insanely heavy Z800 around like nothing, not because he is muscular, but because he is used to the weight.

      It is a shame that the bike doesn't have alloy frame and -10kg. When riding the bike feels light. But once I wasn't paying attention and started to tip on me and holly it was a struggle to put her back upright

      I'm 5'6", 170lbs, 30" inseam. Its not bad weight wise, only ever an issue moving it around the driveway or a lot before taking off. Even still, not bad. Compared to my Honda CB300R at 313lbs, it feels heavy but the handling and agility make it feel light when you ride. Way more confident on the GSX-S750 leaning into turns especially deep lean. The lighter bike is sketchy feeling and more surface sensitive due to the weight and slimmer tire. The S750 doesn't feel heavy to me anymore.

    Gsx s750 vs z900? Not biased opinion

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  4 месяца назад +1

      I haven't tried the latest Z900 yet, but based on the past Z9 and this S750, I would lean a bit more to the S750, I didn't really fancy the seat position on the Z9, it sat a bit too low, felt like the tank was same level with my chest. Good for the shorter riders though, no need to tip-toe. But for right now, looking at price point, the S750 cost more than the Z9 (not SE version) so that's a strong point to consider for the value. However since the Z9 is more than 750cc the road tax will cost more than the S750..
