Thank you for your video. I just got quilling supplies for Christmas and have absolutely no have no idea what to do with them so I was really impressed with your tear drop!
I was just gifted a large plastic tub of quilling supplies (everything included) by a dear friend. I'm excited to learn and you're my first subscribed channel. Thank you for your easy to follow instruction.
Thank you for video. New to this but wondering if you put on vase as you did (beautiful) you won’t be able to wash it now cause it’s paper or do you coat it with something to make waterproof. Thanks again
Hi! Sorry for the late reply...no you wouldn't be able to get water on the vase or the quilling would be ruined... you'd have to put dried flowers in the vase to be on the safe side I reckon, although there may be a method (such as applying resin) that could make it waterproof but I haven't tried myself sorry!
Thank you :) The edges of the paper coil catch on the edges of the quilling board template, so that normally holds them until you add glue. Sometimes they still do pop out though, but they are easily coiled tighter again .
Thanks :) Not sure without seeing the board, but it'll be a guide of some sort. It could be the length of the shape it's next to, or the length of paper strip you need to use? Sorry I can't help much
Thank you for your informative video, you have given me the confidence to have a go. I'd been putting it off as I felt overwhelmed!
Great :D Go for it!

Wondering how you get the coiled paper to stay together once it is finished so the paper doesn't pop out. Nice video, thanks.

After you glued the quills in the vase/jar did you seal it with anything ?
No, I just am very careful to not drop water on the paper!

Many craft shops will have them (e.g. Fred Aldous if you're in the UK), or failing that, Ebay or Amazon stock them. Thanks for watching :)
