I was born in 1983, and while the 80s commercial volumes definitely had moments where I recognized commercials, I could nearly recite all of these word for word...ahh, the last waning years of the golden age of Nick. It's no wonder I remember all of these...I spent my life at that age watching hours of Nick a day.

I thought that was Jack Black in the Airborne clip. Who could forget those great Tiger Electronics handheld games. Starter gear was awesome back in the 90's(I had a Rockies hat)

Wow...I came here looking for the Chompsalot commercial...then right after it was the commercial I had stuck in my mind yesterday, the MyBuddy/Kid Sister commercial! Talk about freaky...
I had a my buddy doll when I was like 4 or 5 years old. I remember the tiger handheld games. Had a couple myself. I know for sure I had the Power Rangers game. I can't believe the crap they've put on Nickelodeon the last I don't know how many years.
I miss Sir Chomps A Lot. I use to swallow them whole because they were so small.

Not much that I recognized here--I was in college in 1993 and wasn't watching Nick much (except for the Nick At Nite block), but the My Buddy (4:07) and Frosted Flakes (4:37) commercials were among the most iconic ads from the early 90's. I remember both of those jingles very well.
i remember that zelda commercial and thinkin " man thats actually a tight rap hes doin" i still think that after hearin it now too.
Hard to believe that I was 5 when that Zelda game came out. Remember getting it for Christmas and taking it everywhere I went to try and beat it.

That Zelda rap commercial was pretty damn entertaining, even if it was cheesy as all hell.

1990's the last time Starter clothing had any relevance as expensive. Until they became Wal-Mart exclusive.
Add another one onto that "Ate at Pizza Hut just for the X-Men junk" list. They also gave away the first two episodes of the cartoon at some point. Not sure if it was before or after this promotion.

Honestly, I'm shocked as all that My Buddy was still being sold at this point. I had one back in the 80's, let's just say "Child's Play" put an end to my love of that doll. Stupid movie.

It seems odd to announce the running time for a special episode when it's the exact same length as nearly every regular episode.
Airborne was only Jack Black's second movie. He was in a lot of random stuff throughout the 90s.
Eek...I had forgotten how freaky My Buddy looked. I could definitely see one of those dolls go on a murder spree.

Who's the emcee in the first commercial? I thought it was Kam for the longest time, but he's too militant to do a commercial such as this. Peace.
Who's the rapper in the Zelda ad? He's alright. I was always vaguely aware of X-Men, through ads in other comics, but it wasn't until I saw them on my first Pizza Hut pizza (which was delicious!) that I thought they looked kinda cool. Tastee! I was chomping for joy. Speaking of food, why is it that every "complete breakfast" had oranges or OJ, never (or rarely) any other fruit or vegetable? Pyramid scheme?
