Do anyone else have that weaver song stuck in their head?
that Little Ceasers commercial was where I learned what 5 + 5 was
I remember the Disney Christmas Fantasy on Ice. My dad taped it for me
poor Nancy Kerrigan...
Log Cabin's ad is very nice here
we have "Garfield's Christmas" on DVD. one of my faves
I especially enjoyed the "mario girls" in the Nintendo commercial
"What would you do with a Motorola pager?"
Get harrassed by the principal at school for being a possible drug dealer 😂
I've never seen that version of the CBS Special Presentation bumper before.
That SNES ad is kind of awesome.
Oh, geez, pagers.
F YEAH WEAVER
I've never even heard of Weaver before, but that jingle has made me a TOTAL WORSHIPPER to them, surely~
There's Patrick Renna on the Little Caesar's commercial. He's Ham from The Sandlot.
Son in Law too
0:00--I am not familiar with Weaver chicken products. I'm guessing it is a regional brand not marketed in my home state of Iowa. They sure had a great jingle!
1:15--The Bill Cosby Jell-O commercials are classic. This must have been one of the later ones. Sure wish they'd bring back those "Pudding Pops" that he was the spokesman for.
3:40--Frosty the Snowman is about as classic as holiday specials can get! I still watch it on CBS almost every year. Sure wish they'd show "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" on over-the-air TV again.
7:18--I remember seeing that "CBS Stereo Sound" bumper at the beginning of almost every program on that network back then.
7:28--McDonald's produced a wealth of great commercials in the 1970's, 80's, and 90's.
9:14--A modernized arrangement, but the Pert jingle is the Four Seasons' hit "Big Girls Don't Cry", from the early 1960's.
9:29--Pillsbury was better back when they were independent, before they were purchased by General Mills.
11:15--Catchy Cheerios jingle!
11:55--The 1994 Winter Olympics are best remembered for 2 things: a) the first time the Winter and Summer Games were held 2 years apart rather than in the same year; and b) the Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding scandal.
I didn't realize Bill Cosby was still doing Jello ads by then.
That Weaver chicken ad is very aggressive (and seizure-inducing). No wonder I'd never heard of them.
CBS must have been fond of Susan Powter.
Love the Super NES ad.
The boy in the Little Caesar ad sounds like Linus.
I always liked that McDonald's Christmas ad.
It's too bad they don't air the Garfield Christmas special anymore. It's one of my favorites.
At 9:29 is my Pillsbury commercial. I've been searching all over for this. Man, I made ridiculous money from this one year after year.
How many 90s commercial collections have you been watching?
My favorite of yours is still "ferret jacket Doritos commercial".
Honestly, I was specifically trying to track down this exact commercial. Wasn't easy.
And may I say you NAILED that role!
The affordable "portable" Motorola pager...weren't ALL pagers PORTABLE?? :)
Dr. QUINNNNNN!!!!
the boy in the little caesar's ad looks like the kid from the pauly shore film son in law!!
It is
The Mighty Ducks
And Sandlot.
"Peanuts Super Bowl" video at Shell stations. LOL
I gotta see that!
Ah, the memories
I miss the Stop the Madness PSas
The SNES ad is great, but there is an official cartridge that includes Super Mario All-Stars AND Super Mario World. Brought it and proud of it!
Only available as a pack-in in the Super NES Mario Set released a year after this: i.imgur.com/qu4qGjV.jpg
I think that Weaver chicken nuggets song kind of has no buisness being that epic.
Hey the kid from the Sandlot in the Little Caesar's commercial. For anyone who remembers "Sniglets", from the old TV show Not Necessarily the News, the blue liquid they used in diaper commercials was called "buttblotting fluid"
lol pagers
Ha HA, pagers.
That Weaver jingle could have been in a musical with that sort of production.
ANOTHER CBS Special Bumper that isn't as good as the one from the 70s? NEXT
Imagine how many pixels that big SNES could push out!
Frosty The Snowman was animated in Japan? Color me amazed.
Pagers are so 20 years ago!
Share a(n embarrassing) moment with the world!
I just got a page. Let me find a pay phone.
Awww. 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'...I loved when they would put that on the regular networks. Such a good one!
lol, anti-drug PSAs.
