Me gusta mucho entiendo algunas palabras sería genial poner subtitulo en español
Thank you for this lesson.
For giving a word for quintupletsI recommend the name of the Italien composer:
Dallapiccola. Helpfull especially for native Roman speakers.
Great suggestion! THANKS!
Hippopotamus is good too.
Hi ma’am. You should get more subscribers, in all honesty. 👍
Thank you! People are catching on :)
What do you think of Carl Flesch scales?
What type of chin rest does the student have?
I thank you very much for your knowledge which you share Bono promo. Keep it. God will bless you.
Thanks and welcome
Galamian actually also did 3 notes over 2 beats.
Hello Julia! I've noticed the height on Andre's chinrest and I wanted to ask if you knew which type (or brand) is it. I've struggled from neck pain because of the pressure I have to put, and this could help me a lot! Thank you very much.
I asked in my comment as well!
Let me check and I'll get back to you

@@ViolinClassUSA Thanks a lot! I will be trying some of their designs to find the one which suits me the most. Have a nice day.
What kind of chin rest does the student Andre have (the student on the right)? I like how high it is and how it has the height above the violin rather than in the shoulder rest. Anyone know?
I will ask him and get back to you

Also, thank you for your videos. I enjoy your channel immensely.
Hello! Very helpful video, as always! Do you know what chinrest does André use?

For four notes I always say "One-a-quar-ter" "Two-a-quar-ter" "Three-a-quar-ter" "Four-a-quar-ter" etc. So for five notes (quintuplets) I always say
"One-a-quar-ter-a" "Two-a-quar-ter-a"
"Three-a-quar-ter-a" "Four-a-quar-ter-a" etc. For seven notes "This-is-ve-ry-dif-fi-cult".
Thank you very much. I didn't know about this amazing Professor and his scales. I have one question, as all this scales are with two beats per bow, did he use some other exercise to work different bow speed or patterns?
No as I know of...Perhaps, he did as he was a technique guru for so many... Cannot tell for sure but will try to find out
Hi Prof. Bushkova, do you have the sheet music and the fingerings for these scales?
If you watched my 3-octaves scales video, you would know what I think about the sheet music for scales :) - I do not believe in it.
I was explained these scales orally - I have never seen them in any sheet music form. I suggest you just take all suggestions from the video.
Can you share some information about your violin Julia?
I am using Carl Becker 1928 :)
do you teach private lessons outside of the University?
Please reach out via my website
Is this scale exercise published?
I am sure it was, at some point. However, we all played scales (and scale-related exercises) by memory, after our teacher(s) explained/showed them to us. So I never had a page to look at.
Madam what is a scale with serpentines?
A chromatic scale
How about Jul/ia/Bush/ok/va!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
"Hippopotamus" might be good for groups of five!
Margo Shohl, also Rimsky-Korsakov.
Thank you so much for your wonderful suggestions! Both are great - appreciate them!
Всё хорошо, только почему не на русском либо нет субтитров на русском?
I wish I had time to do subtitles.
@@johnybaskin A little flattery goes a long way :))) Thank you! I'll see what I can do.
