Waddy is the GOAT. He understands the working man more than any other. Thanks for the video!
Waddy you are the best! I have loved your content since I was a kid (under 13) watching realtree road trips! Love the current content! Amazing to watch you evolve with the times and spread your experiences and knowledge to the public for free. ❤
West Virginia is definitely tough but we don’t have any armadillos so dont have to worry about that hope y’all have a good year!!!
I couldn't agree more. This past fall we had a tremendous mast crop. The turkeys are now congregating in the hardwoods because of the left over acorns. I cut one open a few days ago, and it was still good inside.
Best video I’ve found yet. Pretty new to Turkey hunting and it’s super valuable info for me.
Awesome info Waddy! There is definitely some challenges to hunting then but mountains in WV but you are 100% correct in they key to scouting is getting out to listening
Good information that transfers. Cheers from Ontario, Canada April 25th a ways away but not at the same time!
Awesome tips! Thank you for sharing. I can’t wait for those Thunder chickens here in SC. That is a beautiful piece of land you have and great video.
I watched a flock of hens and 2gobblers up until the weekend before season last year first day of season they was gone and didn't come back, broke down and tried public land and had a good season
Thanks for sharing Michael 😊 Have enjoyed watching you for many many years 😊 Some great tips and tactics as well Here New York we don't get to start till May 1st
Thank you for the tips , to the point . Great content 😊
From Nc and those big woods have kicked my butt thus far
Love all the tips for Georgia and the south. Most videos only focus on the Midwest.
What's up Wadell! I met you at shot show 24' love your videos, keep em coming
Even though it’s only a 2 day difference, private land turkey season opens March 30th in GA, statewide, great video!
True. I think I said April 1. Thanks my friend.
Waddy
Waddy for the win! I need that hat ! Cheers from a Canadian turkey hunter 🍻🇨🇦👍🏻 🦃
We’ve got them on bonecollector.com! Happy spring
Good job Waddy
I learned alot! Thanks for the video!
Man I needed this thanks for sharing sir
Research and boots on the ground pays off
I'm from Louisiana and have to drive a long way to be able to hunt. Only open our public land locally open 3 yrs and closed 3 yrs this is the 3rd yr of being closed... soo 4 hr drive to turkeys this yr
Great video and lessons learned! Thanks
Helpful video! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Im hearing this year is going to have a lot of locust. Ive experienced turkeys feasting on locust before. I mean they were gorging on them. Best way I found to get near one was to spot and stalk and as they stepped over a hill was to rush in and pick one off. My calls would not get much response at all those years where locust were everywhere. What's your thoughts?
Let’s go from Ky!!
I work with John’s son in law Daniel. We talked on phone a couple months ago when y’all was deer hunting. We all fired up for turkeys and good luck to y’all this season
No you don't loser
What about tips for new hunters in the North Dakota area for Spring season coming up
They're always where I'm not😂
Great video thank you sir!
Love your information big guy! I just wish here in PA it was what you said about public in the south where you’re at….up here-the focus is to line their own damn pockets and they don’t give a damn about quality management. It really is a shame what’s been going on in PA.
It’s about time
I live in Ga and I’m new to turkey hunting. I had a picture of 4 Gobblers on my camera 2 weeks ago and that’s the only picture I got of Gobblers. But I get pictures of hens everyday should I start in that area come Saturday ?
Good info thx
How different is it to find, call and hunt turkeys in South Texas? Think I saw one video where taunted a Rio Grande thunder chicken….
Any other tips you got for mountain scouting in snow I found sign last year scouting the same area just don't where to start with all the snow still on the ground ??
Where the hat from? Love it

Hey big mike, im interested in one of those hats buddy
Bonecollector.com!
Done….Ok thanks buddy !
Can you or someone tell me why they stopped doing the controlled burns in southwest AR?
What kind of 410 is good for turkey hunting? I had heart surgery 7mo ago. So i dont want to shoot my 12ga just yet. Ty in advance from KY.
Yep turkeys love dirt. I till up bout an acre every year bout week fore season. They in the dirt.
Just honk your truck horn...... gobbler turkeys will respond. Best hunting blind is a pickup truck!
The only difference is on private you can actually manage flocks as well as the property. Public land hunting is different. Definitely not as easy.
This is my first year that we have 2 chufa patches, anything I could do to these patches to help?
Chufa is awesome. Paw Paw Waddell has always loved to plant it and the turkeys absolutely kill it!
Do you have them sized down for youths?
Yes. I think we have kids sizes too. In Bonecollector.com
Got a link for that cap?
I try to look it up. The bar is up on Bonecollector.com
@@BoneCollectorTube got it found, got one on the way. Thanks
Follow the creeks and you’ll find the turkeys
Couldn’t agree more, especially in the south
Why’s that? I’m curious.
🦃🦃🦃🔥🔥🔥😂
You would too if you were cold and you were hungry you'd eat an egg 😅
Do you trap any of the next predators on your land?
Yes! Love trapping
you dont realize how crappy your mouth call sounds, until you hear his. Time to get me a grandstander lol
Say acorns again please ..lol
“Akins”
Throwing shade at biologists for saying coyotes aren't a primary nest predator? Lol the research has been done... biologists don't operate on anecdotes. We should be happy they don't.
