"Sink like a stone/ Float like a feather"....Welcome to The Phil Zone... a powwow...."all graceful instruments are known...." Grazie prego! "Searching for the sound..." xo amazing! I LOVELOVELOVE Drums & Space and I wish Dead and Co. did more longer...let them all go pee, get a drink, and make phone calls, we'll have more room to dance and breathe...I don't think I have ever left Drums and Space...never -ever not, not ever -it would have to be an emergency...it's the best part, where we "Emerge-and-See.."the communing-communion."
Please Phil, play one of these shows on the east coast (@ the Cap Th?!?), so so sofa king much better than TFB . . . I would actually pay $113.50 to see this . . .
I was there last night. It was fun and interesting, but in many ways the recording is better than actually being there. It was a lot to digest at the time.
RogueTalent541: I mean when you're there, you're THERE, so there's a lot to think about. Am I in a good spot? Should I change it? Am I blocking anybody? How long are they going to play? Should I get a beer? What's that smell? Should I check in or take a photo or video? I wonder how long the line for the bathroom is? I wonder how long they're going to play for? None of these are really *bad* things, but they use up cycles in your mind. Whereas, when it's just you and your computer...no competition, just the music. When the music is this challenging, that has some appeal. I'm glad I went; I'm just pointing out that I got some things out of the recording that I didn't get even being in the room -- and I was quite close, maybe 10 or 15 feet from Phil.
Was there was awesome!
