I live in a 1 bed flat and have their full ecosystem. I rent, so a barbell and rack would be impractical when moving. It’s such a good ecosystem. Dumbbells up to 74kg each; a cable tower where you can use the DB’s as weights; pull up bar and dip bar; sit up attachment; leg extension / leg curl.
Seriously great review, Kenny! Thanks for the in-depth look at our bench and the leg attachment. I'm maybe a biased marketer for Ironmaster, but the leg attachment for me was something I never expected to have in my home gym, nor to surpass what I've used commercially in many cases--but it does. 💪
For the curls, holding onto the bench handle is easier. I've added the additional handle and rollers, makes it nice to be able to pick up from either end.
Nice channel and review Kenny! I've got a similar set up. I'd suggest a hack/leg press combo, after over decade of a powerlifting setup, it was the best buy along with my cable machine.
Is it possible to use the incline seat as a back rest when doing leg extensions? It looks like it might be too far but its hard to tell. Maybe with something like the bench wedge from abmat it would work nicely
Hi Kenny I've been looking at getting this bench, I really like the look of all the attachments, particularly this leg curl and the preacher too. May I just ask, how are you getting on with the attachments now you've had them a while? Are there any cons at all? I've read a few comments saying the attachments aren't quite as solid as the bench and can be a bit shaky/rickety. I'm not expecting commercial/standalone quality, just want to know if it'll last basically a lifetime and, whether or not I'll be kicking myself for not looking harder and finding a better, more expensive alternative (if they exist). Thanks!
@@heavymetalcleaner2597 I’ve only had it for a little over a month so I can’t talk about lifetime but it is just as sturdy as the day I put it together (using it twice a week) as for the preacher attachment I don’t have that one. However, the leg curl/extension is top notch so far
why the hell don t the manufactures of these benches not make more holes where the pads go on your feet to make it adjustable for different leg lengths.. One size fits all doesnt work for every one.
@@kennytunison They're still pretty quick, plus the interchangeability of the weight plates with other quick-lock equipment is something (other brands) don't have. How often are you doing dropsets? Hit us up if you have any questions!
Thanks for the video. How did you end up on this bench instead of something like the Rep AB-5200 or AB-4100? I'm assuming it was the leg attachment? I haven't seen other options out there besides the Bells of Steel Buzz-Saw that have that functionality. I would like to incorporate leg extensions and leg curls into my workout routine, but with only a single post pulley machine I haven't found a great way to do so. Is it a pretty quick and seamless process to add and remove the attachment?
I have this bench and attachment, it is a FID bench essentially plus various attachments. The attachments are secured via pop pin and a tension screw. For the roughly the same price as a rep bench, this bench is much more versatile. It allows you to do legs, or abs, dips , preacher curls granted the attachments cost extra.

you can attatch bands there for leg curl and extation

I’ll have to look into that!

Interesting you say that! I have been looking for a hack squat machine
Get the leg press combo... TBH I don't use the leg press much nowadays as it takes forever to load up, and the thought of single leg work bores me!

I have the bench and the attachment. I'll assemble and test it this weekend.

@@gb8814 I agree. I’m lucky this one fits my height.
Do you expect to get the Ironmaster Dbells ?
Thx 💪
No I’m thinking of getting the rep x peppins when they come out in December. I want something a little quicker for dropsets
@@kennytunison Me too. Greetings from the South of France 😉

@@jordanbergman1387 it takes a few seconds to take the attachment off, I have had no problems with turning it into strictly a bench for upper body day

How this leg curl good for big 195 cm strong guys?
Very durable, you can load a lot of weight onto it
I’m not that strong in my opinion and I can do 185lbs for 12 reps on the leg extension. The max is 200lbs. I’ll hit that max soon, which makes me sad.
@@shadepomeroy7051 you do it after squats and rdl
