@@thebodybeatdownDiTi thank you, BBD! This is definitely a retrospective of the last 5 years.
Seal bench … brilliant
@@EJH-jn6mo thank you.
coming in to support the gains!
@@LukesGarageGym thank you, LGG!
Thank you. You've given me ideas for my equipment.
@@JL-wm6jb great to hear. Thank you.
heater idea is brilliant. I have a water softener which I might do the same thing and maybe add some storage for light stuff like gloves storage, cup holder etc..
@@jbsbayarea1 thank you and I hope it works well for you.
Kelso Shrugs! Old school right there! Love it
@@greyrolland-vs8vm thanks so much!
Are you an engineer? Incredible ideas brother
@@Justinsox39 thank you. No, not an engineer, I just think about this stuff way too much.
The lat bar under the bench for leg extensions stability is a game changer. Body stays planted and focus remains on the quads👍
@@NickGibbard-p9q thanks so much.
Like the belt squat idea, also like the use of chalk on the floor. Both great, thanks :)
@@7-z7y thanks so much.
I need to make those blocks. Thanks
@@joe112000 I hope they work as well for you as they do for me.
Amazing gym hacks!!!
@@stankormy5717 thank you.
So many great tips I plan to implement asap. Love this channel
@@coreycrane9243 thank you!
10:48 great idea!!!
@@NoFate247 thank you, No Fate!
Long time subscriber. Perhaps your best video yet! Great job.
@@LeeKramer-hp3lw thank you and that is so awesome to read. This took longer to make than just about any other video so that is greatly appreciated.
#14 - I do the same!
Love the extra R.o.M leg extension! Need to try that
5:44 for reference
@@EliteProAli very cool.
It might be worth trying the leg extension hack with a couple of throw pillows to see if you like it enough to do something more permanent like my expanders.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews Throw pillows are a great idea! Thanks mate. Again. Whata legend. Wishing you more subs
@ thanks so much.
GREAT VID...VERY HELPFUL
@@JohnQuackenbushDC I really appreciate it.
You are the King of Hacks, hey do what you like, I wish I liked hacks as much as you but I dont like having to make any adjustments before I lift.
Be careful though with the Leg Press.
Training Experts and Doctors say the Leg Press is one of worst, if not the worst machine to use if you have lower back issues.
Probably best you dont use it but be careful anyway.
Take Care
@@bobbyhunt3009 thank you, BH! I’m okay with setting stuff up, as long as it’s effective and worthwhile - the biggest reason is versatility in a relatively small space. 2 years ago, I had a bunch of big machines that didn’t require any set up, but they only did one thing.
As for the LP, with my lower back, I would definitely know within one, very light repetition if the exercise was problematic. The squat wedge changes so much about the exercise.
As always, thanks so much, BH!
Yes the liftoff has been a game changer for me as well.
@@Justinsox39 that is great to hear.
I do belt squats with my smith machine (vertical) and I’m pretty sure I got that idea from you! Better than my belt squat machine that I’ve since sold.
@@HomeGymAustralia that’s wild when a hack is better than a dedicated machine. I showed it in my IM 2000 hacks video so that is really cool to hear. Thank you.
Great video always appreciate your ideas and advice! Thank you! I have the Exponent Edge seal row pad love it however there's no number markings will get your sticker idea will use that so much more as I won't be afraid to move setting and lose perfect feel for heavy rows!
@@chrisdonnell2575 thank you, CD. That will definitely make things easier. When I had the Squatmax Chest Supported Row Pad, I used a silver sharpie to number the settings, but the stickers look a lot better than my terrible hand writing.
great great great and, once again, great video!!!!!!
@@javig9346 thank you! That’s the most, “greats” I’ve gotten in 5 years. I really appreciate it.
Phenomenal hacks! Wonder if there are more that you didn't show because the vid would be longer? Thanks for what you do!
@@anca1ag0n37 thank you! I really appreciate that. There’s always more 🤓 I included 4 quick Bonus Hacks which could have made this a, “Top 20” video. I intentionally left out a lot of the Levergym Hacks since I showed those in a somewhat recent video.
On the smith machine i sometimes use rubber stoppers that re on barbells or machines i put them in the safetys when i want less range of motion cut them on one side and put them on
@@rexcolt7203 that’s a good idea.
New vid new vid new vid! 🔥🔥🔥
Genius stuff. Now what is that stuff on garage door. Insulation? 😂
@@sairam71 thank you. Yeah, it’s a radiant barrier.
That water heater is famous. I’ve seen it on at least 5 videos 😂
@@badboy8071 it was first featured in that video where I Jean Claude Van Dammed what I had in its place 🤓
@ 😂
TBH I appreciate some new content that isn’t Powertec related. Still a fan of the channel though, just giving some feedback!
@@jonpodosek6942 thanks so much. I appreciate the feedback. I’m sure I’ve stunted the channel’s growth to some degree by being very brand specific over the last year; I plan to have a few reviews over the next couple months for some different things.
@ yeah understood. At the end of the day it’s your channel and you should do what you want. This was a great vid btw.
Can you work out a way to do nautilus like pullovers on the fly attachment using one fly by laying sideways and using elbow hanging attachments? You 'd have to position your shoulder to rotating axis of the fly though. Is there enough space?
@@mrsiri810 I’ve never tried or even thought about using the pec fly for that exercise; the next time I have it out, I will give it a try. Thanks so much.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews Great!
Could you repost your Amazon affiliate store information? I couldn’t find it. Thanks!
Love the videos. 🎦
@@sixguncowboy9478 thanks so much. It’s in the description of this video in the Linktree.
7:37 😂 looks like an artillery flak
@@rexcolt7203 the set up does look wild from that angle.
Looking lean 🏋🏻
@@gabriellaskey6798 thank you; about the leanest I’ve been since high school.
