FYI, the Milwaukee has built in tool storage. Pause your video at 5:05. You will actually see the wrench tucked away very neatly. So neatly that it just looks like part of the design.
Hey Clint, have you thought of assembling a legal team to file lawsuits to force these companies to pronounce their names correctly?
He's working on a class action as we speak.
@@ricksgiggle8852 Well, Clint’s a class act, so….
It just makes me so mad when they do that Todd 😡 I now have 12 lawyers assembled to fight this ridiculous.... just not sure how ima pay them 🤔
Hahahaha
@@ToolReviewZone pay the lawyers by suing the companies for trademark infringement. Each instance they use the wrong name. Millions baby!
I’m rocking most of the M12 tools. I’m a contractor, doing everything from concrete to finish work. The M12 line has never let me down!
Same experience for me. They've done a real good job investing in their 12v platform and I appreciate it.
I ran into Clint connecting through Chicago Midway on his way back from the EGO show. Really nice and down to earth guy. Cracking jokes and making folks laugh as we were boarding.
What's up Dylan!!!!! Was really awesome meeting you as well brother. When I returned home, I told my wife how a git to meet a really good dude at the airport. It's always great to see friends of the channel out and about, but hopefully next time.... I won't have to worry about not finding a seat on the plane likenI did with that flight 🤣🤣🤣
2:51 don’t think I didn’t see that 😂
Hahahaha, don't even know what you mean 🤣🤣🤣😉😉
Great info right here. I have been looking at the Milwaukee for around the House
@toolreviewzone Just picked this up love it! Even in auto is speeds up when u give it pressure and unlike most jigsaws with auto mode this one ramps back down to low once you ease up on the pressure. Plus i like how the switch is further back closer to your hand.
Appreciate the feedback 247 👊👊👊
I have both platforms and could use a jigsaw. I will likely go with the m12. thanks for this vid!
I have a few Rigid tools at home. I bought Rigid for work. I took all my Rigid power tools back and got Milwaukee. The Rigid tools ramped up to speed and overheated causing them to stop working until they cooled off.
I don't have Ridgid tools but oh boy when I got back home I tried putting a fresh t shank blade into my 6 month old jigsaw and it doesn't have the quick insert feature. I blame you for now digging it
Thanks for the overview. I'm about to pull the trigger on the milwaukee. I did have the M18 version but didn't like it; too rear heavy with a battery and I didn't like the switch at all. I do have a corded bosch but really want the convenience of cordless.
Looking forware to picking up that Ridgid saw....I am definitely Team Orange., But they both look like great tools.
I’ve worn out so many Milwaukee Makita and Bosch tools it’s not funny. At least when my Ridged tools crap out they are free to repair or replace.
People are sometimes just Milwaukee fan boys just like Yeti. I personally have a mix of some of the best tools from numerous companies. I have a very old Dewalt recip saw. 36 years old still going strong. Wilwaukee you say is pro quality but that brand has let me down more than any other. Still use them but they are not the best at surviving my abuse for sure. Just replaced my 12 inch Milwaukee miter saw after 8 years with the same one. Just no better option for me. There are better saws but they are so much heavier.
Thanks for the video. Any chance you can do the M18 Fuel barrel grip vs the
M12 Fuel jigsaws please. Can't believe nobody has done it yet. I have both batteries, but I'd like to know if theirs a big difference. Thank you
Getting jiggy with the tool reviews😎
Dan, the man, you never fail to amaze me brother 🤣🤣🤣
5:31 @Tool Review Zone Clint right below dust port for vac hookup you should see the wrench on new baby m12 Milwaukee. It’s hiding from ya, lol. But it’s there!
Also, been using the m12 fuel for almost month now and loving it, and paired with Collins coping foot, makes a perfect companion and will be probably living on this jigsaw as my primary coping saw going forward. Also, as I’m sure ya know, but for those that don’t….coping base not just for coping, allows to get into tight spaces when need to do diff cuts, like scribing, which also use this jigsaw for, my 2 too uses and loving it!
Cheers Clint…..beat me to the vid on m12 fuel, but I just keep making changes 🤦🏼, I know I know, just get it done, lol.
L8R bro✌🏻
Damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!!! did I really miss that wrech 😭😭😭 Thanks for the heads up brother 🤣👊
@@ToolReviewZone only reason why I found it, was putting in my Collin’s coping foot, to lazy to grab my ratcheting screwdriver w/ hex bits and so I did the unthinkable……opened the MANUAL 😱, shocking I know. Also see 2 blade outlines for storage in shoe plate, which won’t be using at all; since this now my coping saw only now…..and it’s so so nice. I fav, don’t need that like clip to block led that m8 has been/c the m12 has led on/off switch! Well thought out must say.
One thing though Clint, to me, the new m12 feels like same weight as m19 fuel, thoughts 🤔
Cheers✌🏻
I don't want a power switch I can access easily. I don't need to bump it accidentally. I have the trigger I can release to stop quickly.
RIDGID : new and improved, now with high downforce wing battery position 😄
🤣🤣🤣👊
If the Milwaukee was teal and changed it name to Makita I’ll buy it.
I'm looking at the TOOL storage w/tool on Milwaukee at 5:05 - 5:25 😏... should've read the feature manual my guy lol
Hey Clint, take a look at the back of the Milwaukee m12 Beveling base… there you will find the hidden allen key!
Yeah, that was my bad brother, but thanks for the heads up 👊👊👊
So the Ridgid has more junk in the trunk! Lol I did feel out the M18 jigsaw and thought it was too big and decided to go with the M12 Fuel model once it becomes available. Great review as always my friend!
Hahaha, junk in the trunk. I wish so badly I would have thought of that for this video 🤣👊
@@ToolReviewZone the TRZ family has got you covered my friend!
@@txvet7738 brotha man TX 👊👊👊👊👊
Yo Clint the m12 has Allen wrench in the back of the shoe
Glad to hear the DeeAblo whip crack again. It's been awhile.
Damn I’m left handed why don’t these companies make these ambidextrous
The m12 light is on a switch for when your using it upside down so it doesn't blind you, which is reeeal nace like !!
I got so many different brands. In 30 years. Old style Dewalt, Craftsman, & Snap-on. And new styles got Ridgid for the lifetime which wished I did not. Its ok but Milwaukee 12 volt out runs all Ridgid 18 volt. And the Lifetime Service Agreement really sucks. You register tools they play games and sometimes register them. And when needing warranty work they play games and if get new tool sent to you. You cant register it online like you did with the original and you got to call in. I been on waiting for 12hrs once and they answered and said to call back on regular business hours. Always a run around and never got new tools registered. And new tools are about 10% the quality of the old Ridgids. I also got Milwaukee 18 & 12. And they both are beyond better than anything else.
M12 The hex is in the plastic base with space for 2 bladed
Hi Clint, just curious, are you a contractor or do you just make video reviews?
What's the main advantage between this jig saw and the gen 1 m12 brushed jigsaw.
The OG M12 brushed one was a dog and it was almost as big and heavy as an 18V Brushless jigsaw. Also no orbital blade adjustments and despite having a tool less bevel adjustment it would come loose frequently. I went through all these with mine before selling it .
Bosch got a new one coming out give me tools has it on their website it's a barrel grip has digital controls they have that regular handle
Watching from my igloo in Canada
I like the Milwaukee.
I think Milwaukee copied Bosch because it looks exactly like the Bi-turbo Bosch that I use with the 6amp battery.
I would like to see a head to head with the Milwaukee and Bosch versions.
Bosch is about $30.00 cheaper and not made in China like the Milwaukee.
Awesome video, thanks, Clint.
Where was yours made? I replaced an old M12 brushed jigsaw with a Brushless D handle Bosch (GST18V-50N) but mine is made in China. It's night and day difference in speed, control and runtime, just wanted to point that out
Just to comment. Because I never misspeak
Orbital adjustment does not affect speed.
Orbital adjustment is cut length or depth of cut not speed
The wood was not properly supported for cutting when you used the Rigid but You were supporting the wood better when you were cutting with the Milwaukee.
Whatever you need to tell yourself 🙄
Same company owns Ridgid, Milwaukee and Ryobi
They don't own Ridgid, Emerson owns Ridgid
If you keep saying Milwaukaiii I’m gonna have to report you to the FBI. This is illegal for sure 😂😂
I always wanted to have a picture of me hanging in the post office 😎😎😎
Hey Clint why didn’t u get help from your twin and there’s no AAs at the end of Milwaukee !
The Milwaukee 12v looks good to me. The cuts looked to vibrate less and looked smoother.
Yes Clint yes! More comparisons please! Cut through the marketing wank and let’s see what the tools can really do!
Looks like I need to bring m the Tool Duels back 🤔👊👊👊
@@ToolReviewZone it would be real naaaaasssss like!
Holy moly those dust attachments double the length of the tool that is so awkward
I actually luv the compact design of the M12 Milwaukee jig saw and I’m sure it has plenty of power.
Both are made by the same company
We all know the Milwaukee is better. TTI (parent company of both brands) goes WAY out of their way to differentiate all four of their power-tool brands. HART (Wal-Mart exclusive) is as entry-level as it gets. Ryobi, for the average home-owner who needs to maintain their home with a wide selection of tools. RIDGID, for the serious DIYer. Milwaukee, top-of-the line for the Pros. When you want the best that TTI has to offer, that's what you buy! Of course when you want the best, you'll be paying a *huge* premium for that! You want Milwaukee tools, you better have Milwaukee money!
While you might see a handful of Ryobi power-tools, painted White and made to run off of a different battery system; and have HART printed on the tools. You're not getting Milwaukee tools painted orange. TTI is very careful about that. But, when you're not a professional Contractor, and you don't make money off of your power-tools; RIDGID is a fantastic option. Especially with their incredible warranty! And, being as Home Depot locations are common as dirt in America, you don't have to worry about tracking one down.
Quite frankly there's one brand out there slightly better than RIDGID, and competitively priced. But it's a certain in-house brand not part of TTI, not sold at Home Depot. Literally countless Home Depot locations in my county. One location for that _other_ Big Box Hardware Warehouse business; just across the border in the neighboring county. Yeah, imagine driving over to the next county just to buy one of their power-tools every now & then. Oh, and if you buy online instead of in-store, their warranty becomes absolutely worthless. Even buying off of their website. Give you one guess which tool brand I'm going to be standardizing on.
Hey you gotta respect the guy, he’s to lazy lol
I'm not to proud 😒 🤣🤣👊
@@ToolReviewZone I got good news, ima MAKITA and Milwaukee guy now. I just bought the Milwaukee brad nailer and table saw
@user-bw5xf3yr3m the brad nailer is great. I love the table saw, it's so smooooth. One of my rubber feet fell of though and can't find it 😪
@@ToolReviewZone that’s not good, thanks for the reply Clint may you and your family happy and together forever. Thanks for all the help with tools.
1st.and that's real nicelike
Dayuuuuum 81 you on it brother !!!! Thanks buddy 👊👊👊
This is what tti does the cool little features that the Ridgid has now will get taken away and put into Milwaukee tools man it is what it is so Ridgid gets some cool tools but where is the propane heater now? In red….endless successful Ridgid models first wore orange Ridgid power tools been around a minute now man and don’t forget Ryobi however that’s cheap prosumer Ridgid is the test dummy red headed step child but can you blame em with the way that corporate umbrella is set up?
Smeeshed
Thanks for the SMEEESH and all the support you give Peter!!!!
So, is it just me or are you a little biased toward the Rigid. 100% biased.
If your a pro then your tools are pro. My cheater pipe is a pro cheater pipe
Ridged batteries suck
i can see your bias in your "reviews"
Rigid will not even allow you to register a tool. If you pain more than $100 for the tool, you got taken.
Bauer gets you 2 tools for $99, with every bit of a warranty. I know, you’re too good to use that Chinese 💩, you like your Chinese 💩to cost 3x’s as much.
They are all Chinese.
