Really appreciate the review man! I love these picks too, I originally had the mini 1.5 and found it far too small. I have recently got the shield and totally love it! I have been searching for something less expensive but near as good as a brand called “Blue Chip Picks”, because they are very expensive but really worth it. I reckon the “perfect” pick is not really a thing to be honest, it’s so subjective. Really recommend trying blue chip, despite the price. They last forever, where as I do find playing faster heavier stuff that the prodigies wear quite fast. Cheers, -Ollie
More of an intermediate player and I noticed the difference. I like Jazz picks. These are different. They took a couple days to get the feel for. I like the sound on these. Feel like they forced me to be more accurate.
I’ve been looking at this pick for a while I just thought those edges would cut thru the stings I like jazz 3 and this look cool but I do t know you should have played a bit of lead even if it was something simple just to see if they cut thru the string better than a reg pick
This was a great shootout! The only problem I have had with these is the super sharp tips and the wear factor. I made the switch to metal picks for extended edge and tip life. Playing picks from Zenfire now, the grip, tone and punch is unreal. The only way I'll go back to plastic .... will be kicking and screaming!
If you’re into trying picks - Try Winspear picks. Best quality on the market and tom (the owner), is an amazing guy. I recommend the amber shiv, or battleaxe. Shiv is just a tiny bit smaller than a regular tortex. Battleaxe is the same size as tortex.
Cuz' he playing guitar? Or sometimes he play only downpick? Or he just using a guitar pick? You always try to impersonate some clever guy. Stop trying to be someone you aren't.
Do you think he likes Blackstar?
I was gonna comment this 😂
I think he’s a Marshall guy
No way 🤣
I highly recommend this pick and its also my first mini pick
The 1.5mm was dropped on the floor and never to be seen again 😂
Ha ha I actually couldn’t find it ha ha ha
there needs to be a pick that if it’s dropped it won’t go into a black hole.
This video motivated to pickup a pack of these and I instantly fell in love (these also are my first mini picks and I love them)
white mini is the most comfortable pick i used ever in my life! even for 5 string bass... just awesome
🤟🏻😈🤟🏻

They are supposed to compete with the jazz so am assuming they are good or even better.
They do but they have more drag. I like that though
jazz iii picks were good IMO but my pet peeve with em is it can barely pick scrape thats why i switched to the JP ones
These will have to feel stupidly good to lure me away from my Dunlop Tortex 😂😂😂😂
Kick ass playing, as always, dude
Ha ha cheers mate! Worth a try definitely mate! I’ve been playing with them all day very different but they kicks ass for sure
I'll give them a go, if I come across them
Where from bud?
Currently? Brighton-ish
Want me to send you some?
Is these Ernie ball mini picks size pretty much same as jazz III picks?
Better trust me
love your channel,
hey matt can you do a lesson on some fade to black riffs
Cheers! Which riffs?
All of them if you can plus I would just like to hear it from your awesome gear

Which metal pick brand and type do you use?
@@guitardiablo Zenfire Phat Jazz
And is it the phosphor bronze or the hard brass?
These Prodigy picks get worn very quickly IMO

Winspear are the best
Winspear are the best
Great job as per 🤘🏻 personally I love the Jim Root picks. Oversized Jazz 3s basically. The accuracy is unreal!
always liked jazz iiis just because of the control
Which is harder black or white?
WH
@@aek4018 already bought prodigy white. Still trying to suit.
Wow. I was just looking at these picks online but was undecided on whether to try them or not. Then I saw your video 😁 perfect timing I guess
Ha ha boom!!
No, it’s because they know what your watching so advertisements and video suggestions are catered right to you
I know what you mean about too much tip for rhythm playing, but I love the attack on lead playing!!
7:01 that pick will be lost forever
Into the abyss it goes!
Jazz III is the way to go and Prodigy 2mm mini is the best
You should try Dunlop big stubbies they're the best
It's millimetre not millilitre haha
Why do you hate Blackstar so much!?!?
Hey man great job on the video ,I just wanted to know what string gauge you use on a normal basis
It’s 10 gauge 11 gauge or the beefy slinkys mate
@@mattriffmaster alright Man ,love the videos
My distortion pedal arrives tomorrow
who think they love halo 3 game music :P
Very good video

Why are you named Victor? Quit trying to have the same name as that other Victor.
