there needs to be a pick that if it’s dropped it won’t go into a black hole.

white mini is the most comfortable pick i used ever in my life! even for 5 string bass... just awesome

Really appreciate the review man! I love these picks too, I originally had the mini 1.5 and found it far too small. I have recently got the shield and totally love it! I have been searching for something less expensive but near as good as a brand called “Blue Chip Picks”, because they are very expensive but really worth it. I reckon the “perfect” pick is not really a thing to be honest, it’s so subjective.
Really recommend trying blue chip, despite the price. They last forever, where as I do find playing faster heavier stuff that the prodigies wear quite fast.
    Cheers,
    -Ollie

More of an intermediate player and I noticed the difference. I like Jazz picks. These are different. They took a couple days to get the feel for. I like the sound on these. Feel like they forced me to be more accurate.

I’ve been looking at this pick for a while I just thought those edges would cut thru the stings I like jazz 3 and this look cool but I do t know you should have played a bit of lead even if it was something simple just to see if they cut thru the string better than a reg pick

    • @eldirtyfaygo5395

They are supposed to compete with the jazz so am assuming they are good or even better.

This was a great shootout! The only problem I have had with these is the super sharp tips and the wear factor. I made the switch to metal picks for extended edge and tip life. Playing picks from Zenfire now, the grip, tone and punch is unreal. The only way I'll go back to plastic .... will be kicking and screaming!

If you’re into trying picks - Try Winspear picks. Best quality on the market and tom (the owner), is an amazing guy. I recommend the amber shiv, or battleaxe. Shiv is just a tiny bit smaller than a regular tortex. Battleaxe is the same size as tortex.
