This is the best pick guide I have ever seen on RUclips, I’m not sure how you’ve stayed so small. You earned a sub

I recently bought the Tortex III .60 and .73 and love them a lot. Really great for acoustic and electric playing

Oh, and the lighter gauge Tortex flow picks are great too!

I too found that the Gravity's wear badly VERY, VERY quickly although most reviews say otherwise (😡) apart from yours so thank you for your honesty, fine fellow!

I play my jazz III at a bit of an angle and over time they break into a somewhat beveled edge that is perfect. I usually break new ones in at practice and play used ones at shows.

You should try the Tortex Flow. Best of both worlds in terms of no churp and even string to string transfers. I use the .88.

Good assessment of the picks and nice playing. I too noticed the unpleasant chirping of the flow picks. FWIW the chirping is a lot less present on the lighter .73 and .88 gauges. I always seem to go back to the Tortex .73. Hell PauL Gilbert plays .50 mm

I agree on the annoying chirps, but paul actually plays with a 0.5?

I don't get why people are always surprised to hear this. EVH used .50 or .60 i think. Dimebag used .88 and so did Randy Rhoads. Not every shredder or top tier player plays with a thick/heavy pick. It all comes down to preference and what works with your technique. With my technique, thin picks are where it's at. With others, thick picks is where its at.
