If you have a big bank balance, go for a big bike and if you don't have one, shut your trap and buy what what you can afford, don't be a fool and take huge loan, its not worth it. The value of any automobile only depreciates.
Respect ur thought❤
Agree.
And 400cc is enough for Indian roads and highways anything more than that is waste of money
Correct... I am happy with my 350 😊
Correct that's why i am riding splendor
Carefully use terms refering to currency because Bucks is used to refer to US Dollars ( slang ) and not INR.
A very very sensible video. Must watch and share.
I tour on my Access 125 and I'm very happy.
❤
I think himalayan is more than enough for india
You are right and also fit for all touring, adventure, off-roading it does everything. Except track but I doubt how many tracks are there in India.
Amazing point is even the small bike in this compassion is around INR 3.5 Lacs which is also quite high for average Indians watching RUclips
Get a good bike , whatever you have in your mind . Not what is affordable. See it's just one life . If you want a superbike and can save up to afford it and then maintain it , do it . Himalayan is a mass market bike, no offense to owners. I am a Himalayan 411 owner myself . New Professionals and students, please save more and get an xpulse or anything that can cruise at 90-100 and is light to maneuver in city . It's not worth it owning a heavy bike and RE service is bad in case of newly launched bikes
Since New express ways are banning 2 wheeler, there's no sense in buying bike more then 600-700cc in India.
Exactly
A 4 cylinder will last atleast for 2.5 Lakhs km . A single cylinder will last atmost 70K KM.
The guy with the Tiger knows exactly what he is talking about unlike many other moto journalists. He does come across as a skilled rider!
good one. Need these kinds of talks for low speed electric scooters too.
Thank you so much ❤❤🎉🎉
If you don't want to spend so much money, what is there to discuss. It's a joke comparing a Tiger to a Himalayan. As per your logic, nobody will be buying Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, etc. Deep pockets matter.
If Triumph launches a 660 Tiger Rally (not the sport thats being aold now) for around 12-14, itll be the best bang for the buck. More than enough power for our roads, would definitely be lighter than the 900 and price would be great as well. Will tick all the boxes.
I have ridden the length and breadth of this country and ventured into the tough sections of the Himalayas multiple times and trust me these big hikes are absolutely not necessary. In india its more of a flex than anything else. 99% of the owners of these big bikes just do weekend breakfast rides or small weekend rides. Predominantly highway cruising and for iur roads any bike whoch can sustain a constant 110 kmph is more than enough.
Never ever buy a big bike on loan. Dont fall into this BS of "life is short, enjoy it" if finances are limited. If you have enough koney kying around and spending 20+ lakhs on a bike wont matter, by all means go for it and even in that case, itll be unnecessary.
I think then i made a right choice by purchasing Himalayan 450
Thanks for clearing Doubt bro!
People who think 450 cc is small bike are the one who haven't understood the mass Indian mindset.
Triumph tiger ke kimat mai Himalayan leke next 5-6 year all India touring ho jayega
True bro
My 800xcx came with center stand from factory
This video is very informative 👏🏽
Thanks
Clutch 55,000 ... Definitely got scammed
you can go and check costs with the authorised service centre.
@@BoraPreetam 1/4 the cost on ebay , why would I go to a service centre.
@@mohba01 More than 95 per cent of owners will go to the ASS
Kaha rajavhooj aur kaha Gangu teli😂😂
Haathi paalna hai to haathi ke kharche bhi shauk se paalo
absolutely practical nd mindful advice ... /Mr. Pritam, an owner has hinted precisely. Thanks a lot both of you.
This is a very practical discussion. As I know the owner of the Tiger personally , he is talking from his experience of over the years. A bike should give you the thrill of riding , but also fit your pocket as well.
I have Both agree to everything. So would like to all few correction. 100/120 cruising on touring is a common thing now a Days. Tiger at 90/100 feels really nothing... at least 100/120 cruising. Himalayan is a scalpel. Can do 100/110 beyond that lot of wind blast. But the feel of tiger at 120 -150 you feel like heaven.
@4:10 - i caught that big brike! 😅
Tiger side indicator 😿😿 ouch 😿😿😿
RE is an expert now in marketing, ,,,using all bloggers ,,,, have money, its big bikes or a merc,,not an RE or maruti
You dint talk about milages bro
Hey, @t.karthikharshavardhan! Yeah, that’s a given. A multi-cylinder engine will be thirstier than a single-cylinder engine, and folks know that when they consider a big bike. What they don’t consider are running/maintenance costs, over the purchase cost, and that’s what we’re trying to address.
I'd disliked the video till I heard the Tiger owner speak❤
7:15 to 8:18 whole set of numbers is ceazy.
8:12 what number is he saying ?
can you put source to these numbers for triumph ?
You can check with any dealership or service centre, and not just limited to Triumph big bikes. Any other brand big bikes, the numbers will astound you, for spares and major service cost. These cost numbers are from personal ownership experience of the Tiger 800 XC for over 8 years now.
This is mostly about one guy bragging about how rich he is! 🙄
Whatever gave you the idea? This is about informing people about the maintenance costs to be thought about when buying a big bike. And if one would have been rich, you would have seen the latest 25 lakh ADV, not a 10-year-old one with old tyres desperately needing replacement
Any updates on himalyan 450 tubeless variant
Hi, @avanteja6776! No definite date has been announced yet.
