Those "emitted" bugs are a real nightmare ;) Impressive add-on none the less! That'll sure come in handy for certain animations! Thank you for the video!
Lol - they were giving me some creepy crawlies while I was working on the video ;p. One thing I didn't note is you can also add your own models to the particle system collection - I'm having a LOT of fun with that
dude I've been watching your videos since from the start you always surprise me with new stuff and learning so many things ty so much, Godbless you and Happy New Year!
This add-on is mind blowingly brilliant. But there is one piece of information I can't find ANYWHERE! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but will the crawling boids, lke spiders, work on curved surfaces?
Thank you for this recommendation! I have one issue though. I dont know how to delete the bugs I created to set up new ones. It seems like I can't just delete them since there is no "delete bug system" button or manually. Even if I dont delete them I will get an error message when I hit "Add Bug System" even though I gave it a name. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Should I be choosing a second slot somewhere? Not sure what I'm missing. Anyways thanks for the great video!
Justin, thanks for the overview! I'm still struggling to understand just what I'm getting with the add-on. The existing Blender BOID system is pretty simple to set up and seems to still be doing all of the work. And once I've added the bugs in this add-on, I'm still going back to the Physics tab to tweak the system. I understand that this add-on provides about a dozen bugs/birds to animate (and that may be worth the $36), but I don't see that it is really adding much more in features. I don't think the animation of the BOIDs (leg motion, wings flapping) are very realistic, so I don't see that I would be using this for close-ups, but instead using my own (or maybe modifying these animations?). I also don't see that I can add my own BOIDs to this system, though that might be possible. (E.g., I can add my own forms of flowers and grass to Scatter.) Thoughts on this?
Not really - if you want to do it all manually and find your own models and add your own animations, feel free. I personally don't, but that's just me. You can add your own models in the collection folder that it creates for the system.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Spyderfy in the comments below!
i picked this up on the last sale , i wish they had that you could have one big spider .
stay safe
@@rigomortisfxstudios Interesting...Can you set the number of items in the system to 1?
Thanks for the review Justin! Really nicely done!

hello. Please does anyone know if this plugin is not compatible with Blender 3.5 thank you very much.
