    I also love the idea of just adding freshness to processed food. There’s no need to cut things out, adding is the way to go!

    Dude! We are so similar I’m so happy to have found your channel years ago. This is legit how I cook and eat all the time! Like I’m constantly beefing up a frozen TV dinner or processed pantry item with fresh or frozen fruit and veggies. Thanks for showing so many realistic, yummy, vegan snacks and meals. This is so good for the soul. 🤗❤️

    I love the idea of adding rather than removing foods from a diet or a meal, it makes eating more fun and enjoyable, I am really trying to do the same!

    I wouldn’t even say that you’re taking your comfort meals and making them healthier I would say you’re taking your comfort foods and just making them more nutritionally balanced to keep your body fueled properly 🥰😁😁. Loved the video!

    Something about BBQ with Mac n Cheese just hits different! Also just as a little tip as an apple and peanut butter connoisseur, if you want the peanut butter to be more dippable just add a tiny bit of almond milk (or whatever you have) and smoosh it around until its mixed and a consistency you like

    I'm tempted to get one of those microwave steamers, as I am very lazy when it comes to steaming vegetables.
    One of my favorite I am too lazy to do something elaborate meals is to stir-fry chickpeas with greek or curry spices, depending on what I am craving that day. Goes great with fresh rice.

    Thanks for these ideas! I’ve been struggling recently with not having enough time to cook elaborate meals but still wanting to eat relatively healthy or fresh food. Definitely going to try the ramen or takeout hacks 🥦

    Re: the peanut butter treat. Lately I've been living for microwaving my peanut butter for like 11 seconds and then mixing in Ovaltine (I'm sure there's vegan Ovaltine)! It makes a decadent lil chocolate peanut butter spread 🤤

    I find that steaming tempeh for like 5min before sautéing and adding seasoning/sauce really helps it taste better. I remember in the other video- you said sometimes you don't like tempeh; forgot to post a comment there. meow.

    Great video you are one of the people who inspired me to incorporate vegan food in my day to day life thanks so much also you have inspired me to eat more healthy also I’m planning to slowly go vegan I wanted to go full vegan right away but my doctor said to do it slowly so it doesn’t mess up my sensitive stomach

      that’s awesome 💚💚 honestly i also recommend going slow into vegan diet to people too but for mental health.. it can be a lot of stress to all the sudden make the change & can feel like a lot of pressure to not make any mistakes! going slow can make it feel easy 👍

    The shin ramen when people try to tell her its not vegan. The one that isnt vegan litterally says beef bone broth or something on it. I noticed it since im not vegan and its one of my favorite brands of ramen. I buy the mushroom one or the beef.

    adding fresh foods to processed foods is such the way to go. I used to make top ramen and add frozen vegetables and egg ketchup and miso and everything i could possibly cram in there. now that I'm vegan I haven't done it in a while since my most frequented grocery stores don't have big packs of vegan ramen, but you're making me want to do that again. if you're also having a really lazy day, you should add a cube or two of the frozen garlic or ginger from trader joes to ramen, it's good as fuck.

    Wheat pasta, bread, grain is already high in protein and I'm tired of hearing people say that it's not because they don't know. 8 oz (dry) has about 32g protien.

    A "serving" of vegetables will typically only get you about 0.2-2g of fiber. While 100g of oats, rye, barley or wheat would be about 10-18g same with WHOLE beans (tofu, plant milk/powder and mock meat typically have virtually all the fiber strained out) so vegetables are probably not the "go too" when looking for fiber or B vitamins. Not to mention swapping in whole grains for refined grains saves a lot of money when compared to buying lots of fresh vegetables.

      @@emlyewng no offense but I used to eat very similar to you and it was horrendous for my anxiety and autism, caused bloating and gas, bad skin, I was anemic and progesterone deficient for years. Eating quality animal products and cutting out greens and seeds makes an enormous difference in my hormonal, mental and physical health. Research Ray Peat, he is a great way to follow for a more “normal foods” kind of person who doesn’t care for goatis.
