Kanoe, thank you. When my daddy died, I felt like I didn't know who to turn to about the Bible. He studied, he looked up word origins, he read books by people of different backgrounds, he watched different TV evangelists all with the intent of seeing things from different perspectives so he could know the Bible, and God, on an even deeper level. I knew I could trust him. Finally, after I had languished for so long, I heard God say in my heart that all I needed to do was go to Him like my daddy did. He would give me all I needed. I tried to do a 365 Challenge with our church. I felt like a kindergarten student trying to read a big chapter book. I had a hard time understanding it. I knew I needed a Bible study to help me. That's when my husband found you and this challenge. It is exactly what I needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love learning about the heart of God with you.

Ok.. Not gonna lie.. When I saw this was a little over an hour long... And 176 verses I was like... 🥴😬😵💫 Imma have to watch this in 2 parts.. I have the attention span of a toddler 🤣.. But oh my... I was just captivated by this Psalm and your teaching of it... I was just listening and reading and just so in awe of it that next thing I knew it was finished 😊... What a great visual about your aperture! Years ago in study of our Holy Spirit, I was taught that we pray for the Spirit to lift the veil from unbelieving eyes...because their "shutter" is not open (like a camera lens). Very cool, Miss Kanoe! ✌️❣️

I loved your explanation on verse 98 (I think) about how we can’t force someone to love us. It is a relationship that we must cultivate and spend time getting to know them. We lend our time and care to open up and intentionally “listen” with honor and appreciation to get to KNOW them.
This bible study is a helpmate to me in getting to know God.

I really enjoy listening and learning. One thing you said really resonated with me in regards to what we listen to before we go to sleep. For months I’ve been putting on an 8 hr Bible scripture called “Sleep in the word of God.” I found it on RUclips, but it’s it’s so comforting listening to scripture during the night. It just feels like being cradled in the word of god all night.
Similar to your experience, a couple months ago a friend of mine sent me an Abba song one evening, and for the next three days I woke up with ABBA’s Chiquitita in my head 😂

Hello my beautiful family in the LORD GOD and I am from Barbados and as a Christian believer the Psalms is my favorite book in the Bible because I truly find peace joy love and encouragement in these verses so I am helped to go on in this journey my husband and daughter we take turns reading the entire Psalms 119 in our Bible study and pray time in the evening we have been doing this before the COVID so we have continued to do so and now to find you on the tube is helping me to stay in the WORD some more THANKS MRS Kanoe GOD Bless you my dear sister

I wanted to ask Kanoe (and HD study group), what are your views on Logos? Is it for the everyday person or is it for Pastors, and teachers etc? Is it worth investing in, or would Blue Letter Bible be as helpful? I also heard of one called Accordance, but I cannot find it. Thank you.
While designed for pastors, it can be used by everyone! I use it regularly. There is a free version of Logos that provides so much, paying for it really isn't necessary in my opinion.
