That is great sister. Dr’s are people to and need The Lord Jesus as much as we do. My daughter is a Dr I recommended her this study. I won’t give her name I have seen a couple times here. I respect her privacy. I am in medical field and we NEED The Lord Jesus just as much as everyone else. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Without Christ my life is not functioning well. When younger some 35+years ago I ran from Jesus. I was sad depressed and really really needed to know Jesus. He welcomed me with open arms. I will never forget what Jesus did for me. I consult Holy Spirit more than my head knowledge. I am grateful the Dr shared his faith with you. We need to be good to one another always sharing our reason for Hope Faith and Love all come from The Lord Jesus. Have a blessed day I pray your husband is doing better sister. 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼
My Sisters pastor is a Pediatric Oncologist. Yes people in the health profession need God also. Many of my nurse friends who are my sisters in Christ pray for and with their patients. I pray every profession, every level of education, every income level, every race, every male and female desire, long and seek an intimate, loving relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My heart cry’s out in prayer for lost souls every day. ❤❤❤
Please pray for my 14 year old son. He broke his foot today and the x-rays showed a 'lucent lesion'. We are waiting for further testing. "Dear Lord, please give my child the strength and courage to face whatever comes his way. May Your will be done and his soul be strong and full of love for you, Lord. May his future be bright and give you glory. In Jesus' name, amen."

I love that you addressed how people speak about their spouse. My husband and I agreed years ago that we would not speak poorly of each other to others even when we are mad. I hear so many people tear down their spouse and I think your are absolutely right that it corrupts your own thoughts and questions God choice that he made for us!

I made notes in my bible in pink in how this book relates to marriage and relationships. Then I went back and listen to it again and made notes in blue and how it relates to Jesus and his bride, the church.

I never could relate to this book because back then they were an agricultural society but Kanoe explains it so well that I have a better understanding of it now.
I totally agree with you. People are flaunting too much skin in clothing these days. And I've seen it in churches which is even worse. We had a pastor preach on this before. Women dressing non modestly are a stumbling block to Christian men. trying to live for God.

You mentioned in chapter 4 that we need to ASK for the Holy Spirit. I was under the impression that we received the Holy Spirit when we were baptized. I’m confused
The moment you have accepted Jesus into your life, you are given the Holy Spirit to help guide you. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision; symbol of you identifying with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Having said all that, we continually ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit for guidance, wisdom, and discernment as our Helper as we strive to live our lives for Him daily.
I have doubt if i have the Holy Spirit or not ive learned to trust but i feel like im not producing fruit and it has been for like in feb since i felt that way God said to abide and i am but i keep losing my temper and i hate it i just want glorify God and become like Jesus do i just actively wait?
Keep seeking the Lord, and take heart, He is slowly making us all a new creation. We are saved through Jesus' blood, but it was never promised we will immediately be perfect. Sanctification is Jesus slowly helping us shed our old selves a little at a time throughout our time on this earth. We will never be perfect this side of heaven. But one day, you will be able to look back and realize how much He has helped you become more like Him!
Hi! I just had read commentary from the enduring word, where he explained that this book is called a few different names depending on scholars choice I guess, it’s also called “Canticles”. Seems like a lot of controversy about this book even being part of the Bible at all, pretty interesting I’d suggest you read it too!
