I think the story of the 2 prostitutes & baby reflects how Jesus is willing to die so that we may live. If I could ask God for anything, it would be for my family to have a very close walk with God and my extended family's salvation. Happy belated birthday to your daughter!

In chapter 4 verse 26, I agree there might be some discrepancy in the amount of horses, stalls and horseman. I read from the NLT when not doing this bible study and mine says 4000 stalls for the chariot horses and 12,000 horses. Which wouldn't make sense for 12000 horses to only be in 4000 stalls. Although In the ESV it says 12,000 horseman not horses.
It's interesting to see this little clerical error between translations. Regardless, Soloman had a lot of horses and places to put them!

Solomon did not follow God's commands given to rulers to not have many wives (also not take foreign wives) & not indulge with owning many horses.
