Something was in the water back in the 70s: ELO, Beatles, Stones, Zep, Sabbath, Floyd, Genesis, Elton John, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Stevie Wonder, on and on and on. Sadly, the music has died. But we were so lucky to be alive when it was hoppin' and happening.
There is something magical and heavenly about the music from ELO, Jeff has a way of evoking both sadness and happiness in his melodies which take you through the spectrum of emotions and for some reason I just cant put my finger on it but its almost like I listened to this music in another life and it resonates with the core of my spirit and soul.

@@TheVeek192 I dare you to poll a thousands drummers, his name wouldn't appear even in the top 200! It will inevitably be Bonham, Peart or Rich. My comment is not meant to be an insult but as a compliment, a nod to his talents. I grew up on "Out of the Blue." He's not flashy nor does he showboat. I love his drumming on "The Whale." He has a very distinct style. He even tunes his drums in a very recognizable way. What he did gets lost in a sea of drummers who play too busy or play with too much technicality. Bev says more on "Strange Magic" than most drummers do in a whole catalog of music.

I've heard a few ELO songs ive enjoyed over my 23 years but I've just now decided to work my way through it all album by album. Aside from RUclips being a great tool to do That, Jeff Lynne sense of harmony speaks straight to the core of me. Drift away to those chords and get a bit hyped up in my own head
That was the pinnacle. They had a few good tracks scattered over the remaining albums but if Lynne and Tandy had called it quits after that one no fan could honestly say he'd been cheated.
IF I hear one more time that ELO is the most underrated group in musical history I'll go crazy!!!! Well I am now officially crazy, why? because I am the one that keeps saying this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep justifiably nuts!!!!!!!!!
Rest in peace, Richard Tandy. Thank you for this stirring piano solo which never failed to amaze and delight me.

*I LIKE WHAT YOU GOT. GOOD JOB.*
says the floating head in the sky to the band that saves earth. Iykyk
Very beautiful song with alot of meaning. When he asks (what can I do?) in the song; answer is; (Move on)
A beautiful song .. he has such an amazing voice 😊

Uff....la verdad siento una gran nostalgia al escuchar tan hermosas canciones de Elo junto con su gran lider Jeff Lynne...estoy atrapado en los 80s con Elo y Jeff Lynne .,.esto si es auténtica musica
Jeff Lynne is a legend look there will never be songs like these again and I was only born in 78 this was out way before that😀😀😀
Uh... Album came out in '76 year I turn 16
Bev Bevan is a great drummer
Criminally underrated drummer!
@@danielcastillo4537 People say "underrated" when they don't know the facts. He's NOT underrated. Read a little.
@@danielcastillo4537 You forgot to mention that baby faced Bev is the most beautiful looking of the lot!
@@lucreziia100 Yeah but Bev didn't have Jeff Lynne's glorious, epic and righteous hair!
You are Still beautiful. I'll hear your voice in my head until I die. Thank you Jeff. !
💜❤

Diep liefdesverdriet......en ELO is er voor me ....al 45 jaar......
I saw ELO in concert in '78 or '79 with my first love. The boyfriend's now in Idaho and the venue is gone, but still have the memories...
no matter what Jeff lynne right its brilliant
Great hair, great voice ,great song .We love you ELO 😊
ELO the best ever!
One of my favourite ELO songs..love the grand piano
Utwór z płyty ,,Out of the blue,, Jeff Lynne zawsze pięknie śpiewa przeboje Electric Light Orchestra.
Jeff lynne is the mozart of the 21 century
Increible Banda. increible Jeff !!! toda mi juventud esta ahi, solamente arriba Los Beatles, porque son los Beatles, pero al ladito pegado ELO
Omg I love Jeff's hair💕💕💕💕love their music❤
Jeff le tue labbra mi fanno impazzire ❤
Best 80's band in history.
My favorite album so far is "Out of the Blue"
+Daniel Boakye I agree, Jeff Lynne is awesome, but they're more of a 70s than an 80s band, this album came out in '78
best 70s and 80s band I say!
That was the pinnacle. They had a few good tracks scattered over the remaining albums but if Lynne and Tandy had called it quits after that one no fan could honestly say he'd been cheated.
Sorry to say...it was released in1977
*70's
Best band in the world 🌎
This sound comes from Heaven
This is the best breakup song ever!!!!❤
I lost my Grandfather last month, so this Song hits a Lot Harder now 😢😔😌!
Listening since 1976....and still listening
Desde la decada del 70 siguiendolos.Jeff Line es de otro mundo
It's Saul Over Now
Boooooo
