She kept trying to court conservatives and republicans, who would never vote for her in the first place, by having them speak at her campaigns, saying she'd appoint a republican in her cabinet, running with the Dick and Liz Cheney endorsement, both of which are generational warhawks. She sounded like a complete hypocrite by bending the knee on immigration, when for the past 8 years dems have ran on the border wall being racist, now she wanted to build her own wall but gayer. She was also pro israel/pro-war, which is a war that is unfavorable to the majority of americans. It was 100% justifiable that americans became disillusioned with the democratic party when they kept shoving down centrism, right wing, and warhawk politics down our throats, when the people already have a right wing party with a populist, Donald Trump.

It isn't over. These Democrats, that are pocketed by corporations (What used to be a Republican thing) have actively tried to strip our rights as American citizens. Indiscriminately. I don't like either of them but I'd say it's the opposite trump does stuff for his own ego . Besides his character flaws, being a convicted felon, a grape-ist (E jean Carroll). A large part of why the Democrats lost is perception around the economy, and the border. A lot of indicators show the economy is better and growing now, from the stock market to real wage gains. COVID messed up a lot and that's a big part of why inflation hit hard but after that it stabilized the rates have been similar, but people don't care because they just see the price difference. Trump didn't pass the infrastructure bill which would help all, he didn't want to invest in it, or the chips act which would help bring microchip manufacturing to the states. It was during COVID but Trump's unemployment was higher than bidens, and part of the is because the fed decided to keep unemployment low but have the inflation rise because of stimulus to the economy. Trump has talked about suspending the constitution because he lost in 20, he wanted to delay the certification of the election and tried to pull out fake elector slates. His lawyer Rudy Giuliani lost his law license because he admitted to lying about election fraud but said it was his 1st amendment right to lie. However Trump’s actions on January 6th (asking Pence to overturn the vote on his behalf) and spreading the lie of mass voter fraud which has deeply disturbed our countries social health and faith in our institutions. Not that there isn’t reason not to trust our institutions, but it should be based on truth. Obama had pretty much everything in his favor in 2008 against McCain. People talk about how bad the environment was now for a Democrat to be elected, but the Republicans had no shot in 2008. He really is like the Democrat equivalent to Trump in the sense that he has this unique style of presenting himself that is super appealing to his base and many of his peers try (and fail) to impersonate it.
I think that because race was such a factor in Obama’s election, Democrats misunderstood it as the only factor that mattered. When they did that, they took away the wrong message that what voters truly cared about more than anything was identity. Hollywood, the left generally, and the Democratic Party have used that as their driving motivation ever since, and now it’s starting to catch up to them. I mean as I voter I would hope that the best person for the job will get the role of the job, to me Harris represented the adult in the room, I would’ve hoped that voters would’ve made that contrast between the two candidates, but unfortunately they didn’t and I agree with you that people did not know Harris, her coming in so late in the game, I think that has something to do with her losing, but I disagree with your narrative of identity politics I don’t understand how you can say that identity politics had a role in getting Obama elected, was he pushed to the presidency because he was black or because the voters thought that this guy is the best guy for the job, and if they did think that Obama was the right person , what makes you doubt voters did not ask themselves the same question who is the best person for the job? I can’t see how identity politics worked in one scenario and not in another, ultimately I think people came to believe that Donald Trump was the better candidate, however right or wrong that may be, he convinced enough people to believe in his narrative.
In my opinion I believe trump was the best candidate for the job not based on identity but purely policies. I can’t say I agree with every single thing he’s done as a character but I feel like we don’t need a president who we’d enjoy being friends with but a president who’s going to get us out of this hell we’re living in right now and give us what’s best. Obviously I could never say I hate you or anyone else who likes Kamala, I have family that liked Kamala and I think everyone should have their own right too that. I feel like there’s already enough hatred going around, so all love to you. Just wanted to give my opinion ❤
@ I can respect your opinion at the end of the day you are free to vote for whoever you want for whatever reason, I’ll just say I disagree with you on Trump having the better policy than Harris but that’s my opinion, I think this country should get down more with the nitty gritty details of policy, I have no ill will towards anybody I know there’s a lot of people saying, that they’re gonna be happy if Trumps policies hurt other Americas, to me that’s not right you shouldn’t want that for your fellow Americans and fellow human beings, I just want politics to be boring again
You guys tried the “adult in the room” strategy in 2020 and it didn’t work this time because they both proved to be far from the “adults” with their ridiculously bad policies and incompetence like the Afghanistan withdrawal.
I am not American so I do not keep up so much with the politics of the US but I was quite surprised Trump won because where I live it is unlikely a party would select a person who has/has had such public legal proceedings against them, honestly we have the other problem where a lot of criminals struggle to get a job in general which is a big issue. I am looking forward to watching this video to see your opinions but I assume Harris was an extremely bad candidate to lose.
it’s not hard to come after people legally in order to to damage them. Regardless if they are guilty or not. That’s why people always say “I’m not voting for a felon” when he hasn’t even been convicted. Big difference. It’s all just emotional bs and buzz words
As the Supreme Court noted during legal arguments against Trump, you could indict a “ham sandwich” in this country. If you lay out the charges carefully enough, choose the correct venue, and have the judge set the parameters just so, you could convict basically anyone, too. We’re not bothered by the legal proceedings because we know them to be politically motivated. A lot of the politicians who pushed for them have done a lot worse and faced a lot less punishment.
i cant help but wonder how this election would have gone if biden didnt drop out. not that i really care for him in particular but i do wonder whether or not there would have been a difference.
The difference would have been a larger margin of victory for Trump. The Democrats took the wrong lessons from the 2022 midterms. Biden should have announced after the midterms that he was not running again so that the party could have had a proper primary and then coalesced around the winning candidate.
I think trump won Because people saw the Current administration being democrat with Kamala As VP and Biden being present was a Mad house of bad things like inflation, interest rates. Etc Then that was compared to trumps 4 years which were relatively great in general especially with the economy This is just a small part of why he won but IMO the top 3 biggest reasons why😊

anyone who uses phrases like “tHe rAcE cArD” in 2024 is a racist.. & I’m sure im not the first person who’s told you that. grow tf up & be better
yoo bruvver, I feel you, we just need to regroup and get it together for 2026 and 2028 fr fr you feel me
Why? ZERO qualifications... NEXT!!!
Trump had zero qualifications before he became president the first time so that isn't a valid reason.
I'm confused about the 0 qualifications.. so could you tell me someone who's qualified?

Im european but thankful that trump won. America needs a strong leader like him. Strong america means strong europe

Love your political videos man i hope we get more in the future :D
You will!
Greatest comeback I've ever seen in politics maybe one of the greatest comebacks ever from Donald Trump.
I teach history…there’s never been anything like it. The guy was universally maligned, twice impeached, raided, investigated, charged, convicted, paraded in front of cameras, mugshotted and shamed, shot in the head, challenged in a primary, almost assassinated a second time, targeted by the Iranian government, and voted out of office and he *still* came back and won. Like him or not, he’s a top ten all time American story, period.
God bless, asmrtists keep making this video. Like yall have twin telepathy
Bro love the videos, but one suggestion, pls film these in a darker/dim setting, not outside on a bright day. I want to listen to this while falling asleep and not pay for RUclips Premium to lock the screen lol

How do you think Hilary would've done, if she tried again?
I think she would’ve lost again
We saved the republic.
@@Makiaveli01 I agree, you should respect your fellow Americans amen

He probably would have gotten less votes than kamala. I think people saw how he wasnt fit for the job when he debated trump
It would’ve been a steeper loss. He was polling significantly worse than Harris.
@FIREHOUSESAM i wasnt keeping close tabs on it but that doesnt shock me at all. so it probably wouldve been the same result anyway, then.
I don’t care who cardi B or Beyoncé are voting for, give a reason why or lay out your policies
okay this video is awesome
Appreciate that!

What a voice!!!!!!!😮❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
more daily event takes!
Will do!
I think trump won
Because people saw the Current administration being democrat with Kamala As VP and Biden being present was a Mad house of bad things like inflation, interest rates. Etc
Then that was compared to trumps 4 years which were relatively great in general especially with the economy
This is just a small part of why he won but IMO the top 3 biggest reasons why😊
Some thing you’re wrong about was that Kamala did have a list of policies you could look up, Donald trump had 1 which was tarrifs 😕
They all make empty promises lol
