I immediately fell in love with the story, the actors and the performances from the cast. The soundtrack goes along great with this coming of age tale and the trials and tribulations of first love. Take it from someone who is old enough to remember the times: They were indeed the best.

Fortunately, although this girl and I didn't end up together, we recently reconnected on Facebook and became very good friends who are genuinely happy for the other. She had a bad first marriage as did I, and both of us got it right the second time. The best part is the four of us, her husband, my wife, and the two of us have become great friends.

This really is a great movie. Too bad you can't find it anwhere. Just 6 years after this movie it was my life. Senior in HS and my GF was a freshman. I was 17 and she was 13/14. I was a musician (drummer/piano/guitar). She was flag line. I ended up working for her mom as a tennis instructor at the club. Her parents even took me to Disney World with them.. They wanted us to get married....but that wasn't meant to be.. :( But this movie does make me smile and I love the music. Still have the original Album.

Sooner or Later was my all-time teen made for TV movie. God I loved that show and would watch it whenever it came on. I have purchased it several times because I lend it out and it never makes it back home. Well worth it. Rex is so handsome and so talented. ♥♥♥
