Love mine, works great. Only thing I would stress is maintenance. Keep it clean, keep it greased and the gearbox gets hot after prolonged use. Changing that oil will prolong gearbox life.

Do you put the pins back after reversing off the deck? Or do you put them back in once you drive over to reconnect?

When did they change the deck lock mechanism? My older auto connect has a spring loaded auto locking mechanism, and I only need to flick it down when backing off. Why would they get rid of that feature for this more involved manual dual pin design? Mine's never failed me, so I don't get the reason fro the change.

It's a simpler design. Springs can fail or weaken.
