Ezekiel 44:21 Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court. That means priests were drinking wine when they ministered elsewhere. Wine is fermented. Jesus was called a winebibber, which essentially means a drunk. Drinking alcohol, in moderation, is not a sin. This is a common error from the works based salvation contingent. Ditto for clean/unclean meats. Being drunk is a different story as your discernment is compromised. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the spirit of christ.

I followed the SDA rules of diet for over 35 years and found it better to be the well rounded with protein as why would God create A protein source like a cow where you can only get vitamin B12? A major vitamin that helps produce DNA and make new cells in your body? They didn't even invent the vitamin B12 pill until the 1960 so it was very difficult to be healthy and be a vegetarian before that period ...hope this helps God-bless.
