The Bible makes it very clear that God was here on Earth in the flesh. Romans 8:3 If you’re claiming that SDA don’t believe that, you’re mistaken. On the other hand, you may be referring to a belief in Jesus setting up His earthly kingdom at His second coming, which goes against what Jesus said Himself. He told His disciples He was going to His Father’s House (Heaven) to “prepare a place” so that when He returns, His people can be where He is (Heaven). John 14:2-3 In Matthew 24:31, Jesus said when He comes again He will “send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds,” or from every part of the Earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 describes God’s people being caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds. God CAN walk on the Earth in the flesh, but that’s not how Jesus described His 2nd coming. So if someone who looks like Jesus (or claims to be Jesus) does that before the real Jesus shows up in the sky with millions of angels (Matthew 25:31), it’s a deception, a false christ, the anti-christ. If this is what you’re referring to, you’re correct, SDA do not believe Jesus will walk on the earth at His 2nd coming. He will at the end of the 1000 years of Revelation 20, when the New Jerusalem comes down from Heaven, wicked judged, sin destroyed, new heavens and new earth - that’s when Christ’s earthly kingdom will be established.
How is the sda church be based on the Word of. God when some of its fundamental beliefs are contrary to scripture?Secondly according to you God is an office held by a conglomerate of 3 individuals, that is just ridiculous.
