what is the tool you used to push it out of the hub called?

Wheel hub puller or also called rear axle puller. The tool comes in two sizes, for the rear axle will need the bigger 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" size.
This tool also comes in some of the wheel hub/slide hammer kits.
