I believe only the MPH speed will show over the line. In the I drive settings for the instrument cluster, you can change what items are displayed on the instrument cluster (I removed the Km/h speed). In General Settings for I Drive, there is an option “Units”, you can change what is used for vehicle (This car has MPH selected). Hope this is helpful.

I did not have ODB connector connected. You can switch maps with the Bluetooth adapter and JB4 App. The cable is only needed if you want to see the engine values in app or to record a log/drive.

The crankcase vent valve failed. There is a rubber diaphragm that causes the whistle noise when leaking, and engine is pulling vacuum on the crankcase causing the air mixture fault. When PCV valve has failed, with engine running, if you try to remove oil cap it will have excessive vacuum holding oil cap on. PCV is integrated into valve cover so complete valve cover has to get replaced.

I was also not able to hear these noises inside the car. The camera so close to wheels picked up the sounds good. The noise is from the rear suspension compressing during the launch.

Wheel hub puller or also called rear axle puller. The tool comes in two sizes, for the rear axle will need the bigger 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" size. This tool also comes in some of the wheel hub/slide hammer kits. Hope this is helpful.

Using the panel popper tool, just wedged it between the unlock tab and flat part of the radiator. The panel popper tool has a flatter end/tip compared to a flat head screwdriver. The tab/plastic is not a thick plastic and time and mileage on car will also cause plastic to break easier after time. 7:24 shows install when tabs engage. Hope this is helpful.

The connector was not hard at all, on this X3 there was a lot of room to access wastegate connector. In the install guide it shows the EWG (Electric WasteGate) connection is optional. From the install guide, “EWG connection - This optional connection is used by those planning on running higher boost levels or concerned with maximum performance. If just the head of bolt is stripped out, you can drill or grind and break off head of bolt. Then slide off tensioner from bolt stud. Stud should spin out by hand once tensioner is out. Using an extractor tool might be easier if still possible. If bolt is seized inside the block, an extractor is needed to get bolt out. Hope this is helpful.

Hello, JB weld would be possible but I would not recommend it. The radiator if already cracked/leaking has the chance to leak again in a different spot. All plastic on radiator has gone through the same miles of driving. If the radiator doesn’t get replaced there is that chance vehicle will get a random coolant leak and possible leave you stranded. With radiator leaking up front the coolant will get splashed onto the front of the engine where the water pump is located. The engine fan and driving could cause the coolant to go everywhere in engine bay. Its very possible radiator is the only leak. If there is a lot of the white coolant build up, on the bottom of the pump, then the pump can also be leaking. I would recommend doing the radiator to start and then see if the leak remains. The small tank coolant is used for the charge air cooler and the coolant/refrigerant heat exchanger (A/C). When replacing the radiator, you have to remove the main radiator with the aux radiator together and then replace radiator separately once both are outside. This is only reason I had to top off both tanks because I removed both radiators. If main radiator or engine water pump is leaking, only the bigger expansion tank has to get topped off. For this job dealer was asking over 2K. Total for radiator and coolant was about $810.

M550i is the same as this model to remove metal cross connection/plate. Then should be; unlock connector and detach, Loosen screws 2x, Release coolant hose from fan cowl, Feed out fan cowl upwards and remove.

This car water pumps are good. The big expansion tank does not bubble when doing the bleeding procedure.

Its hard to release once tensioner is out. With belt already off you can release tensioner/remove Allen, then remove tensioner. I had extra pin to use so I leave pin in and save pin from the new tensioner.

There are two tabs that hold bracket in place. I believe you release tabs and rotate bracket, then slide out. Part number is 17118632136.

Will use distilled water next time.
