@@Lucas22780 If we're ruinin' jokes and being pedants... it's NOT Greek! It's latin. It is the same root word as "Caesar" (who was Roman...), and "caesura" an italian word used in sheet music notation: caedere, it typically is translated as "to cut" but also meant "to kill" or "to strike down". I'm not an expert but I am an amateur (classical meaning of the word) and can use google. Anyway, it would be pronounced more like "Kaistus", almost totally rhyming with "Nice diss". Miracle build is useful for having good magic, dark and lightning buff available. (but overlevelled, since you need spell buff and want a good physical infusion. I guess if you want to make a PvE overlevelled phantom build)
@Captain_Morgan - I know you are joking, but it makes me sad how unexplored faith builds are. They are some of the best in the game before lvl 120. You can do massive damage (which you can easily land in a trade) and stay beneath 30% equip load. Despite needing to sacrafice a bit of defence to do that you can just regen back the health. Lightning arrow is the bread and butter of your ranged pressure, you have regen which is another layer of pressure, and then if they decide to try to stay in melee range you have complete control of the fight. Because your damage output is mostly tied to weapon buffs or elemental infusions you can pretty easily equip a wide variety of weapons. Having a spear, straight sword, dagger, and spells equipped keeps people on their toes if you are willing to put in the time to become proficient with the build.
I like to combine the two Pontiff eyes with an Old Wolf Curved Sword and high poise so that I heal and hit harder the more hits I land while being difficult to interrupt. Good to know which weapons stack up hits for those effects the best, though, since you don't have to be swinging the OWCS sword to get its buffs, which in turn means that you could have it in one hand and the "improved" curved greatswords in the other to get maximum benefit from repeated attacking.
I have a build with both pontiff eyes, the old wolf curve sword on my back and carthus beacon. Then I use the onikiri and ubadachi as my weapon and just melt anything that I touch
@@TheMartyredextras I like that build too. I also use both shield and sword rings, so that I always have maximum health+atk, kind of a reverse red tearstone build. The downside is, you have to use pretty light armour, and have almost no poise. It feels like playing Bloodborne.
I used strength caestus and both pontiff eyes, the wolf sword on my back, ring of steel protection, and Loyd's sheild ring. Max armor defense possible so you put enough points into vitality. I beat Dark eater dragon boi without using an estus. Played the souls series since demon souls, never thought I'd have to beat the last one as a monk

It was tough, nerve wracking, and slow going, but I beat them 2nd try. What I took from this experience: Miricle builds suck at PVP and PVE damage. But *PVE support* shows much promise if you act as a White Mage, buffing and healing your teammates as they rely on you to keep their HP bars from falling into the abyss.
I don't know why I love these videos so much. Modern games don't tend to have these kinds of esoteric mechanics, but Dark Souls bucks the modern trends. Another game with these kinds of mechanics is EverQuest, unsurprising since it came out in 1999. Limit Breakers fans should appreciate this weirdness. EverQuest had factions which controlled whether an NPC would be friendly to you, kill you on sight, or anything in between. There was also a Sneak ability that made NPCs not "notice" you if you were behind them while using it. The way they coded that was for the player to be consider neutral to an NPC's faction if sneaking behind that NPC. NPCs would trade with neutral characters and, in many cases, even allow you to hand in quests. As a result, you could sneak up behind a hostile NPC and buy and sell items or even hand in a quest that they never gave to you, potentially improving your faction so they didn't hate you anymore.
