But what if you took stamina regeneration into account and determined the rolls per minute?
RPM, the most important stat regardless of what you are actually measuring.
I believe that you don't regen stamina as long as you are performing an action

I fear that the data retrieved from such a test wouldn't actually be pointless.
Being summoned as a Spear of the Church in DS3 increases stamina by up to 30%, if you’re against 4 enemies. That would beef up DS3 on the numbers for sure.
190 x 1.3 would be 247. Which would put the Ashen One at second place just under Bloodborne. This would give them 17 rolls (247 ÷ 15 = 16 with 7/15 remaining so 17 rolls)

for elden ring, the max at 99 endurance is 170, which can be brought up to 247 with the erdtree's favor talisman, the viridian amber medallion at +2, and the greenspill crystal tear--but rolling only consumes 12 stamina, so with 2 maxed out talismans and a physick tear, you can roll 21 times. EXCEPT it doesn't stop there, because elden ring also has great runes, and radahn's great rune boosts your maximum stamina--an extra 15% on top of the already massive 45% you can get from the first three items, for a maximum boost of 67%. That's a total of 284 stamina, for a maximum of 24 rolls--which is still not as much as bloodborne.
You can go further, with the Bloodboil Aromatic you can increase it by another 20% to get a Max Stamina of 341 which is just enough to squeeze in 29 rolls beating bloodborne by 3.
As a bonus I tried to see how long you can sprint with this, running in circles around an aggro'd mob, (while not exactly the same as limit's test in the other video it's the best I could think of) I got 39.68 secs, around 13.5 secs longer than limit got for bloodborne. That time is likely off by a bit though as I was fumbling with the controller and the stopwatch on my phone rather than checking a recording :/

With SOTE doing everything as mentioned above expect replacing the viridian amber medallion with it's +3 variant and adding the new VIRIDIAN HIDDEN TEAR which eliminates stamina consumption for 10 seconds, the new max stamina is 347 and you can roll 50 times before running out lol. With the viridian hidden tear alone u can roll 20 times for free before it wears off.
tldr: with dlc u can roll 50 times

This definitely isn't because DS2 is my favourite and I want the Bearer to win at the end by revealing they have a full stack of each cast-increasing item. It's not doping, I swear!
Depending on the rules, it might actually be demons souls or even dark souls 3 with their mana regenerating items.
DS3 has soul dart and other low cost spells, i think it would win by a large margin
In DS3 I have a dedicated mage that puts everything into intelligence and attunment, and eventually faith cause of mandatory dragon boss in The Ringed City. (ToD saved my ass so many times against Midir)
In Dark Souls 3 farron dart is the cheapest at 3 fp, 450/3 = 150. In DS1 it’s at least 360 casts for soul arrow. I think DS1 would win, Windows would probably update before you regenerated that much fp.

Pre prepatched as long as you weren't over 50% you would flip. There was a dark age of ninja flipping Smough's the oldies in the Souls community don't speak of any more.

In Elden Ring with 99 Endurance you get 170 stamina
with Erdtree's Favor +2 (+10% stamina)
& Viridian Amber Medallion +2 (+15% stamina)
& Radahn's Great Rune (+15% to HP/FP/Stamina)
& A Greenspill Crystal Tear in the Flask of wondrous physick (+15% stamina for 3 minutes)
They stack multiplicatively
170 * 1.1 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.15 = 284 Stamina

@@glctcthnkr8059 No, it means it's different. Both DS3 and Bloodborne have an excellent rolling system, it just sucks that with latency it becomes too much against laggards in PvP. But if someone isn't laggy, the PvP is excellent.
@@TheStraightestWhitest I guess, but ganks and the extremely unbalanced weapon/magic selection sort of ruins DS3 pvp for me. I barely did any pvp in BB but battles drag on forever and get repetitive fast since there’s too much healing and no build variety

The PVP builds, Speedruns, forums, and discord all will recommend not touching endurance.
As for the average joe's run, discord peeps and forums will tell you to level Vitality to 30 before you touch any other stat.
Gives you 1200 HP + whatever runes you have.
Exception would be for minimum stats needed to wield your desired weapon.
And R1 attacking with most weapons only needs 15-25 stamina giving you 3-5 attacks and still able to dodge roll.
Game's much easier when you have 30+ vit and can make mistakes.

With the release of shadow of the erdtree Elden Ring has completely dominates Bloodborn for most rolls. With max stamina, Radahn's great rune, ERDTREE'S FAVOR +2, the new talisman VIRIDIAN AMBER MEDALLION +3, BLOODBOIL AROMATIC, and GREENSPILL CRYSTAL TEAR you can boost your stamina to an insane 347. But the real game changer is the new tear VIRIDIAN HIDDEN TEAR which eliminates stamina consumption for 10 seconds. Combined together you can roll 50 times. 50 god damned times. That's almost doubled bloodborns lol

What I learned: DS2 has the highest cost for rolls. 1000 souls? What a ripoff.
I mean... BBorne gets basically the same amount of rolls at 40 than at 99 (do take into account you can roll while under the roll cost, so it barely just costs you 1 roll using this metric, 59 levels for 1 roll is a steep cost!) So I'd say those last 59 levels are the real ripoff here.

I don't think I've ever been disappointed with one of your videos.
I always hated how many rolls you get in DS3. Bloodborne is just ridiculous, but I guess they didn’t expect players to go all in on stamina.
bloodborne is just a different type of game. its a much faster paced system and bosses are typically way more aggressive and spam more. that said full stamina in bloodborne isn't really easy to do, you need that 20% CCW rune and it only comes from chalice dungeons randomly, and while you can glyph into it you usually need a full clear on the the Pthumeran chalic chain and have entered into your own FRC Chalic in order to open a chalic glyph with the rune. this is beyond end game and then some.
@@ShadowAraun Not difficult anymore to get the 20% rune actually, thanks to save-editing. Now you only need to kill the 2nd layer boss in Pthumeru Chalice.
@@ShadowAraun Yeah but if you see any playthrough's literally no one levels the stamina stat more than 20 so FromSoft should have balanced that out more imo.
@@lowlize true but typically only experienced players even know and understand to do that. also i always min max stamina, even with the amount in BB some bosses have so much hp it feels like nothing, gotta be able to kill the min 1 stamina bar with the Chikage man. also keep in mind bloodborne has curse gems and while not compared in this video if you are running around with +9% stamina costs it IS noticeable, extremely noticeable and typically thats what i do because i farm maxed bloodgems asap.

I always used the clockwise runes in bloodborne, might not be the most effective loadout, but the most fun to play with.

It makes sense that BLD has the highest stamina and rolls since that game encourages you to be more mobile and always on the move, rather then being passive behind a shield like in the Souls Series and trading blows.

I cringed seeing 12 rolls from DS3. Another example of Fromsoft introducing problems in new games that were fixed in the prior ones (never a problem even). Obviously BB doesn't count, cause the combat is shield-less, and that game had entirely different pacing an mechanics. Every time you play DS3 pvp, keep rolling, rolling, rolling. CRINGE
