oi if you want it, I was the one to recommend this little idea to our old man; here's the message oi do you think you could do a video on how durability/corrosion is technically a status effect in ds2 when applied to enemies? As in: You can't break the equipment of enemies in ds2 with urns/acid surge but instead you can apply a debuff that stacks and lasts 60 seconds per stack. -This debuff is manifested by a sound + some crumbling particle effects. -This debuff multiplies outgoing damage by 0.95 and incoming damage by 1.05 per stack. -Reapplying the debuff does not update the timer, but adds a separate timer for each reapplied debuff. -This does imply that each enemy has a proper "corrosion resistance" and after some mining we found out that it's value is shared with their curse resistance. This is also the reason why most bosses (not all though) are immune to this effect if you were able to like throw 500 urns per second you could kill most bosses in a couple of punches, and I think that's pretty cool.
