Guitarists Extraordinaire Julian Lage and Bill Frisell play the opening night of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival 2018, the 20th Anniversary of the Festival. Second of two sets performed upstairs at SHED, with opening remarks by Doug Lipton and Jessica Felix. The players are armed with two Fender Telecasters for this low volume high taste show.

They had a few shows together, maybe a long play compilation of the "best". Seriously, there is no bad.

Clifford Delbridge don't expect this to come out as any kind of commercial product. I think this is a pretty great recording despite the occasional extraneous noises. Enjoy it! Really good with headphones.

Not certain if he has. On my Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival video there’s a 15 minute segment with Julian and Nels.
I think they did once for big sur. .. bill was very pensive and kept putting ideas out but nels ripped through the set and noodled a bunch, hope they play together so they can revisit the dynamic with a bit more perspective
@@hiroprotagonitis I saw a RUclips video of Bill and Nels live. Nels did not let any space to Bill, who is too kind to put himself in front. Nothing interesting happened. Someone suggested that Nels was drunk, in the comments...
