I agree. My son is 7 now and he would ask from time to time if he can kiss me or give me a hug. I thought it was weird at first but also very sweet at the same time. This happened a week ago my first date. I’m based in London uk. Good video but I am definitely in disagreement with most ppl here about the permission-to-kiss thing. I personally do NOT prefer a guy to ask if he can kiss me. I think it's much sexier for a guy to be able to read the cues and KNOW I want to be kissed - or NOT! I think the female should make the cues obvious enough to read, and the guy should be suave enough to read them. Do not kiss her if the cues aren't there. DO kiss her if they ARE, and the kiss will be more organic .
Not everyone can read physical signals. Those with autism and sometimes ADHD can have a different way of interacting with the world and interpreting human interactions.

I used to listen to these excuses so attentively but when I started doing boundary work now all I hear is noise. Deep down, these explanations seem like they’re making sure that a man never has to change his ways, even if some of those ways are deeply harmful to those around him. I'm guessing I could find videos online with women explaining how they think... But even if I couldn't... Who cares? This happened a week ago my first date. I’m based in London uk. I liked him so much and he quickly offered to walk me to the bus stop from the bar I said yes (but I purposely did not want to kiss him ) I wanted to understand a little who is is before I got too giddy with a kiss. Here we are 2nd week tomorrow row Saturday Im seeing him and I will give a smooch 😘 lol. But not wanting sex till I’m fully invested in this guy and watching more of who is and how he treats me. Good video but I am definitely in disagreement with most ppl here about the permission-to-kiss thing. I personally do NOT prefer a guy to ask if he can kiss me. I think it's much sexier for a guy to be able to read the cues and KNOW I want to be kissed - or NOT! I think the female should make the cues obvious enough to read, and the guy should be suave enough to read them. Do not kiss her if the cues aren't there. DO kiss her if they ARE, and the kiss will be more organic .
Not everyone can read physical signals. Those with autism and sometimes ADHD can have a different way of interacting with the world and interpreting human interactions.
@@nonyabidness5708 I know that, I work with autistic adults. And apparently many females find it sexy for the guy to ask. I find it awkward for me to answer that question instead of both of us naturally going in for a kiss. So it's just MY personal preference.

I love your videos, don’t get me wrong. But I’m gonna say it: I find it so interesting how men feel this need to explain how their brain works and expect us to be so accommodating. I’ve seen this happen with women sometimes, but it’s remarkable that most male tendencies needs to be explained. It sort of reminds me of when a difficult person refuses to change their ways and excuses their behavior because that’s just who they are. And when a guy does it, it’s a turn off. You think somebody wants to sit here and study…your brain? High value women just don’t have the time. The important takeaway for any man reading this is- notice the number of times you excuse a behavior with “because men do that”. Is that really what men do or is that just what you tell yourself? I used to listen to these excuses so attentively but when I started doing boundary work now all I hear is noise. Deep down, these explanations seem like they’re making sure that a man never has to change his ways, even if some of those ways are deeply harmful to those around him. And for the women reading this, drown out these excuses and focus instead on how YOU feel. This tactic saved my life

But I see this trend everywhere- men explaining their behavior and how they expect us to just get on board. “See the male brain works this way…” Rather than changing their own behavior, it’s just a given that women learn how to deal with the male brain. But what about the other way around? Please do correct me if I’m wrong, but do women feel this frequent need to explain their own behavior and expect men to comply? As a woman myself, I couldn’t ask that of a man because that’s an unnecessarily huge time investment.
@S DMA I'm currently reading Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus so I can better understand men. I would hope that whomever I date would also feel compelled to read something similar. The vast majority of us are very different (no matter what our culture wants to say these days) and it is wise to try to understand the baseline thinking of someone if you want to have more meaningful interactions with them. I'm guessing I could find videos online with women explaining how they think... But even if I couldn't... Who cares? Nothing he has said is something that sounds unreasonable, it's just explaining the thought process. Your expectation that they should change their behavior assumes the way a woman views everything is the right way and IMO, that's unreasonable. And trust me... There are plenty of men putting up with behavior from women that they feel is nonsensical. Might make things better if a woman explained how/why she is reacting that way. And, quite frankly, as women we don't usually lack the ability to tell folks what we're thinking/feeling... 😂

Why are women always empathizing with men and why can’t men empathize with women? We go out of our way to understand men. As a woman, there is nothing more gratifying, respectful, and validating than to feel understood.
