Got mine three weeks ago, 300 rounds in it with no issues. No problem hitting the target up to 25 yards with tight groupings. This is third CZ that I own (76BD and P10s) and never felt the triggers were a problem but is the same with my P365 and Cheetah X , somehow I just get used to each trigger and make it work.
0 seconds ago After a couple of years of therapy, the de-cocker and sear assembly are almost not horrifying to me at all....as long as I avert my eyes when I remove the slide.
I learned a hard lesson with a '75 BD Sear Cage- use a Qtip shaft, cut to width to hold the guts in and CAREFULLY cover it with masking tape. MOVE SLOWLY. 6 hours of speaking in Tongues i finally found an excellent MCarbo video. Only those that have fixed a CZ Decocker Sear Cage can understand what we went thru. Nothing fazes me now.
Even the tiniest bit of glass or plastic makes them essentially safe. You would have to be licking the paint to make the radiation dangerous in the slightest.
I like Berettas, BUT...adding an optic is always less optimal than other platforms. As long as the USA is the nation of liability-fearing corportations and Elmer Fudd gun people, you will have to get your triggers worked on...or pay for a custom factory weapon for two to three times the price.
Hold on now, I respect your opinion on the Nocuture . However lets not go backwards and remove the optics cut for a slimline version. We definitely need a P-09s that's sub compact around p-10s size that replaces the Rami. If there was a slimline it should been a 1 1/2 holding at least 14+1. Check with Primary Machine, i believe their threaded barrels work on the nocturne. Also the Mcarbo kit works pretty well on the omega series and is cheaper epically for self install.
I chose the MCarbo kit, took time to polish out tool marks with 4000 grit and dremel polished to a mirror finish. Excellent results! SA is 2.8lbs, DA was 5.2lbs- too light for my taste so put the OEM Hammer spring back, it raised the SA to 3.2, DA to +10lbs. Much safer in my hands. I plan to get the short reset trigger from CGW.
Your right! For the price of a Staccato you can buy two of these with the optics, holster, trigger package plus ammo. And still be ahead. Great content as always, really appreciate you sharing your experience and insights.
i got one and have been carrying it for a month now. great pistol, but some potential issues are random and need to be addressed. when putting on the optic make sure the extractor side screw is not too long. this will cause feed issues. and some are having a problem with the mag hanging open with rounds still in the mag. This is caused by the next round pushing forward and making contact with the slide stop. you can either ride the slide stop with your thumb when shooting to prevent this or get another slide stop, taper the bottom edge with a file, and change the slide stop spring. this is not the case with everyone, but it has happened to some and me as well. I carry it with confidence now and bet my life on it. if you have these issues there is a fix. just my two cents...

What size roller bearing did yours have? And did you disassemble and measure the roller bearing size before you ordered or did you just roll the dice and just go with the most common size I think it's a 220
I get that it is an okay DA/SA pistol, but you seemed satisfied with the SP01. Is there a reason you switched to carrying this one other than testing and evaluation?
I don't get why they don't offer a lanyard loop one can fish out by a hook or under spring tension. Still solid and as long as it isn't on a line it is out of the way. Or just 2 positions for the cross pin to have the choice to store it or have it protruding. Why the cans on those pistols? Home Def.? I hop they don't have that chamber check cut that fouls the rds quickly. They won't touch .45ACP since it got expensive after the 97 model and 10mm, look at Tanfoglio if the current importer is still worth it overseas. Most won't touch it. The wide frame can take it.
I just went to the JM Custom Kydex Holster site and while they likely have a holster that will fit a CZ P-09C nocturne with holosun optic, none of the selections specifically stated for the P-09C nocturne. I shot off an email to them and mention that Gabe Suazez to their site and I will await their ordering instructions. I have purchased a minimalist type holster that I saw elsewhere and after examining it I do not consider it secure. I just got it and have not put it on yet to test it out. On triggers relative to good accuracy on pistols, a decent trigger is about 50% of the issue.
I got the P09 holster cut for optic. Reason is twofold. One is I plan on a P09 F coming in a week or so...second is that I plan to run a threaded barrel in the P09C. In either case...a longer holster tends to leverage the pistol tighter to the body.
Now this is just my .02 cents worth. Nite sites really do not work IF it's pitch black inside your domicile and your intruder is dressed in black and who's shape is hard to define. Think about it.
Which is why for home work I use a PVS14 and suppressor. I can see the dimmed down dot through the nods and the intruders will have no idea I am hunting them in that setting.
What does the P-09 C offer that the P-01 doesn’t? I’ve got a P-07 with CGW internals and it just seems kinda meh compared to my P-01 and P-01 Omega. Don’t get me wrong, the P-07 is a good gun. It’s just not amazing.
I asked this exact question, and from what I gather, the p01 seems to be a nicer piece when cajunized. I think that if you don't own a cz, the p09/p07 is a cheaper option at the cost of quality. I think my next cz will be a 75bd, I want to try a steel frame and larger gun.
If you have a P-01 with CGW stuff you have a good system. But the P-09 feels just as good to me and choosing between the two would not be easy. But that is my opinion. The main advantage of the P-09 is that it comes optics ready. No need to send it out to get milled. As well...I prefer the Omega decocker to the standard CZ decocker, and it is discontinued in all but the 07-09 series. Finally...and I didn't think this would be the case, it feels better in the hand than my P-01 series...and intangible, but it has an effect downrange. Those are my thoughts.
