    What are your thoughts on an auxiliary tank?
    We love it ❤. It's a bit pricey $$ up-front, we think it is DEFINITELY worth it!!
    Especially in places like CA, where it is very difficult to find areas to fuel up!!
    We have a 70 gallon tool box combo automatic feeder. I totally recommend.
    Also, may I please see your sleeper set up, and storage?.. I'm always trying to find new ways on how to better organize the space under the bed of our hotshot..
    Keep the videos rolling, I truly enjoy all the great information, be safe and keep trucking ✌🛣.

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  4 года назад +1

      Eric Hawkins the trucks are the same. His trailer has single wheel and smaller axles because since he can only gross 26k he can basically only load about 9,500 max worth of freight. They’re the same length trailer now. With my trailer setup and being CDL I can generally put about 17-18k worth of freight on mine. Most of the “differences are on the administrative side. I have to register with IRP, IFTA and a drug consortium for random.

      I think you’re going to have a hard time building a profit pad running a trailer that short. It’s not impossible but if you’re strictly running load board freight it’s going to be very hard to make it worth your time with a trailer that short.

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  3 года назад

      I like to change out both tires on the same hub at the same time. If you put a brand new tire on with a tire that has a couple of months worth of wear on it then the new tire will be taller and immediately start to wear irregularly. If you change both at the same time it will extend the life of the tires 👍

    Hey so off topic question. How did u apportion the plates?
    Where did u lease from?

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  4 года назад

      To apportion the plates you register your vehicle through the IRP office in your state. Part of registration is setting up an IFTA account in that state as well. I’m not sure what you’re asking about where did I leased from. Are you talking about the company I was leased to before Tow Piglet?

    • @joebrings5817
      @joebrings5817 4 года назад +1

      @@LoadMizer the enterprise location u leased through? Is it the enterprise in Michigan? I know that to apportion the plates u need specific paper work on the truck that most enterprises won't offer up (atleast in ohio we need proof of ownership from enterprise) . Did enterprise not have an issue giving u the paper work?

    • @LoadMizer
      @LoadMizer  4 года назад +1

      Joe Brings ah ok gotcha. Wording is very important on that. Especially come tax time. All you need from Enterprise is front and back copy of the title. I rent from the Elkhart location. The Indiana locations are easy to deal with. Still though a handful of states won’t let you apportion a rental. In that instance I would look into a “remote office”. In Kentucky all I needed was a copy of the title from Enterprise.
