- Kurt Angle is a 14-time professional wrestling world champion, with titles collected in WWE, TNA, and Japan. He is in both the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Champion, and has also won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Games with, as he likes to say, ‘a broken freaking neck.’ At every stop in his career, Angle has reached the top of the mountain, and now he’s taking his Three I’s; Intensity, Intelligence, and Integrity, to the podcast world as he joins host Paul Bromwell to take a look back at some of the matches, feuds and moments that turned an Olympic gold medalist into one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time. It’s True. It’s damn true

One of the funniest matches of all time
Didn't know Marlo Stansfield was a wrestling fan. But, yeah, it was pretty funny how HBK was overselling a lot during this match after finding out it was only going to be one match between them, instead of 2 out of 3 like it was originally supposed to be.
*The funniest loooool
@@pk_1 Vince vs god is pretty funny
The one night return of 90's Shawn
I F*CKIN' LOVED IT! MMMMMMMM, THAT'S GOOD NOSTALGIA! (and he didn't even need coke or Somas to be a prick this time: #coolestheelever )
Shawn michaels is overrated and he exposed the business
@@dmanentertament125 Jim Cornette is that you?
@@dmanentertament125shit take
Look at Hogan pandering to the crowd after that big boot. HBK's just laying on the ground for 20 seconds before Hogan even hits the leg drop. HBK overselling in this match fit right in with the goofy 80's Hogan style match. HBK did a nice tribute to Mr. Perfect in this match all throughout with his sells.
People have been railing on Shawn about this for decades, as if Hogan's entire schtick wasn't the goofiest over-reacting style ever. Even though we all know Shawn wasn't happy about the booking, the selling he did still actually made sense while Hogan uncontrollably shakes and stomps around. 🤷

On paper, Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan should have been one of the greatest matches in history but instead it was a complete overselling spectacle courtesy of HBK himself
yeah thanks to hogan
Hogan demanded to win that match & refused to even do a rematch, so HBK did what he did for a reason.
Yet, it's ironically, it's still probably hogan's best ever match
That overselling literally made that match.
@@AD-ur1fk absolutely 😂😂😂
HBK carried that match so hard
So much shade thrown at Hogan lol
He deserves every bit of it and more
@@LittleBenjaminNeocon183it seems like hulk slept with your wife
He never did his Olympic milk drinking goofy character he had his first run in WWF ever again. After he left in early 2000s that was it. I wonder why? That's the best character lol
One of Hulk(That's not gonna work for the hulkster brother)Hogan's most selfish acts ever!
Shawn Michaels made that match into a clown show all because Hogan didn’t wanna work another match with him.
Cry more
Prime example of why I will always rate Bret Hart of HBK. Some claim that Bret was unprofessional not wanting to lose to Shawn at Survivor Series, but when you hear the reasoning why it kind of makes sense. Plus he had like Hogan creative control, so Bret said he would drop it to anyone else, but not to Shawn after he disrespected Bret. Shawn & Hogan were both extremely unprofessional here. First Hogan backing out of the proposed 3 match run, then demanding to win over the much younger Shawn. Then for Shawn to oversell to ridiculous extremes simply because he didn't get his way. Sure the match is funny & all that, but that isn't what pro wrestling SHOULD be. I can't take anything away from HBK as he is easily one of the greatest in ring performers of all time, but I prefer my wrestlers to make it look good.
Glad he was screwed in Montreal! He didn't want to play so they played him! He deserved being screwed over. No way was Vince again letting his belt get disrespected again.
@@larrystilltheeman39 The difference is I don't think a guy like Bret would ever do that. He respects the business too much. I think he would have forfeited or dropped to Taker or Austin or anyone else really. Funny thing is to hear Ric Flair bad mouth him about that type of thing when Flair literally took the big gold belt with him when he went to WWF
@@tinocasavecchia3020 he was planning on doing that. They asked him or Vince asked him to lose to Shawn because Vince wanted that. I understand the creative control he had but the boss wanted what he wanted and not what Bret wanted. He didn't respect the business. He knew he was wrong. Shawn admits he was. Every loses when they leaving the company to pass the torch. Bret knows that but ignored because of his hate for another man. Those people who left Stu Hart probably lost when they were leaving. Bret knows this and sunk to the level of Shawn Michaels.
@@larrystilltheeman39perhaps Bret should have just "lost his smile" & forfeited the title
@@tinocasavecchia3020 he did lose his smile and wanted to leave after Bret the Baby man figured out both he and HBK were sharing Sunny days! He was taking that WWF championship and throwing it in a trash bin like Medusa did a year or ago earlier. It's traditional to lose on your way out to hand picked opponent of said bookers choice. Cooperation was Bret's downfall. What he do in WCW besides be a mid card guy until Hollywood Hulk Hogan was faded away?
