Miss this show. The cinematography was outstanding - you can see it by the detail levels, the zoom in and zoom out patterns, and the entire framing. Thank you Mr. Robot for creating a new generation of computer hackers.

Im surprised I havent heard people talking about how brilliant the comedic timing and relief was in S4, the darkest part of the entire show with some of the funniest scenes to break it up. I did not expect Vera to say he shat himself but damn was it on brand for him

From the room where Elliot and Vera were talking and moving the camera to the room where Elliot's therapist, played by Gloria Reuben, is bound and gagged, and terrified not knowing what is going to happen next. Great scene.
Just rewatched this show again...one of the best shows ever. Season 1 was the best though, if it would have been as consistent all the way through then it might have been the best TV show ever made. It's definitely in the top 10 though.

What if Vera's experience with the shaman was the shaman attempting to poison Vera to death covertly (after Vera had taken over the Dominican Republic), but the poison didn't kill Vera and the shaman had to bullshit his way through the situation by saying all these vague "spiritual" cliches?

What the Shaman really gave him was a GI irritant to purge his system completely and violently. Clears the head about as good as a bloodletting.
