Wish we had highlights of this quality in other international games. Well done whoever put this together. Excellent game too
Two exciting teams, filled with talent... the future promises a continuation of brilliant match-ups between these traditional rivals.
Rugby is completely dead in Australia, fan base has been falling steadily for 20 years.
@@HM-ss4jd nah
@@HM-ss4jd Not completely. 66,000 people attended the Sevens at the Allianz stadium last year while Rugby Australia had a surplus of 8.2 million. Australia will host the 2027 and 2029 Rugby World Cups. Club rugby participation rates are up in some states and slightly down in others. Overall there are some positive signs. Cheers
Caleb Tangitau will play for the All Blacks one day. Mark my words. He was a stand out for the NZ sevens last year. Devastating runner and extremely dangerous, with pace to burn.
100%
Probably be snapped up by the NRL for next season.
@@FloodyNZ can't travel the world playing league
@@JaemanEdwards What’s travelling got to do with anything? It’s about the rugby, the teams and competitions, the money and the fans. Unless he’s got dreams of becoming an all black then nz rugby will be able to hold onto him for now.
Yeah watched him couple weeks ago destroy suburbs prems
These Wallys are looking the goods, That Midfield pairing looks deadly!
Unfortunately the NRL will sign most these boys 😒
100% the forwards looks more fitter and stronger than most Australia super rugby teams. The midfield centre pairing are gun. Big strong and more importantly hard work both in attack and defence.
Yeah rugby players do really well switching to league, much much harder for league boys coming the other way, Tuivasa Sheck, Benji, etc. Only Brad Thorne made the starting line up, for the ABs, SBW was great but never displaced Nonu, or Conrad Smith
Same as the NZ boys
@@joedennehy386 Rogers, Tuqiri, Sailor....
Aussie props were beastly
Demolished the Kiwi boys
NRL scouts watching with big smiles on their faces..
Such a difference in the appearance of the JWs and the Wallabies team!
Aussie tight five dominated NZ! SA and some northern hemisphere teams will be smiling.
Doesn’t matter how flash your backs are if you can’t get front foot ball your struggling!
I hope many of these wally talents don't end up in NRL contracts. Good for Wallabies build for their home RWC in 2027
They do they want the money.
league better anyways
8:38 That's a shocking conversion for a International U20 player, he should have kicked on the 22m and didn't stay in the kick that's why he hooked it
Lol you probably play div 2 rugby shut up
And who do you play for?????? 🤣💀
crazy how joseph sualii is same age as these guys hed be on a different level physically with his experience now
Unlucky Aussie to not take the series.
NZ got away with a draw with that conversion missed. Well done both teams. 👏
#15 the full back for the junior blacks is electric every time he touches the ball! Razor snap him up.
Caleb Tangitau the winger that scored twice will make the All Blacks before Godfrey does. He was a stand out for the NZ sevens last year. Devastating runner and extremely dangerous, with pace to burn.
Godfrey looks the goods too.
Playing for the canes but her would be a starting 10 for the Highlanders.
Godfrey is very good, will definitely debut in 2024
Godfrey looks good in this league of U20. but in comparison he had a few games for the canes this year and he was well out of his depth by a mile
It’s One thing to be good at U20s but to transfer that skill level to the real world in super rugby is a whole other thing. He’s got a long long way to go before he’s getting a serious look at with the big boys
@@qwerty5682debut for who?
It may be the junior side but to see an NZ pack destroyed like that repeatedly has to be a worry. If there is one area the Northern game has moved past NZ rugby is in forward power and intellect.
Am I going mental or did someone meow as NZ kicked the ball out to end the game? 11:36
Salut !
Bon match serré, un très bon pack australien, des bons joueurs...
best Aussie scrum seen in a long time
Junior Wallabies annihilated by Irish U20s (30 - 10) at World Champs yesterday! Totally dominated by the men in green at the scrum too ;-)
I’m poly, but I’ve always noticed it. A team full of Polynesians does not mix. Individually great but idk why we can’t work as a team
Imo, it's all about balance, different ethnicities and/or body types, have different strengths and weaknesses (in genera) so you need a mix.
I'm not poly and I notice it too
@@bod3102 I can say from experience. Year 12 we had all Māori/islanders, big, talented but we were pretty average. My last year we had all white boys and only a few Māori/islanders and pretty small sized. We were the best team the school ever had 😂
@@XRPmaori When you think about it, we're all Poly, geographically. I get your point though.
It's weird too, I always figured since Islander Poly's valued family so much that it would carry over to Rugby nicely and they'd be deadly. After two decades of Rugby and 2 years coaching littles, I believe it just comes down to leadership, instead of individualism (like trying to run it hard alone for example)
Your not wrong bruh mix of islanders and fit caucasians is what you need 😂straight up
The Australian forwards played a winning game, as the case with Aussie rugby the backs are lacking in intensity and skill. especially in defence.
Good game to watch and I'm very excited to see who makes it up to the Opens International teams!
Congrats Men
Caleb Tangitau no 14 well done score 2 try n represent New Zealand National 7
He will be an All Black
Tangitau❤
Get a grip.
But he is a great player.
Quality from the young ones.
Junior Wallabies annihilated by Irish U20s (30 - 10) at World Champs yesterday!
NZ scrum was under a lot of pressure. Godfrey looks like a prospect, springer and Lakai already super rugby regulars
That scrum was disgraceful.
Caleb Tangitau will make the All Blacks ahead of all these players. He was a stand out for the NZ sevens last year. Devastating runner and extremely dangerous, with pace to burn.
I think Taha Kemara the 1st 5 is a class player with good distribution and radar goal kicking, nailing those crucial sideline kicks.
Lakai is a great player but too small, and Springer is a defensive liability.
Godfrey looks the goods.
@@JaemanEdwards Lakai is 106kgs so he is definitely big enough to be an openside, but too small for the other loosie positions. Having said that, Ardie is only 102 kgs and he's a standout at 8.
@@alanwright3716 Yes open side flanker is the correct position for him. I wonder what his lineout throwing is like. He's clearly a beast. He could be the next Dane Coles.
Great kicking by NZ. Nailing them from out wide. Extremely important to the final result against this tough Aussie team. I'm disgusted at NZ tho, for meekly kicking the ball out at the end, when they could have tied this series with a converted try. Australia won this series by way of a points differential of 7 pts. Very weak mindset to just settle for the 1 pt win. NZ have not looked good in recent world championships.
Disappointing.
1 win, 1 loss for both teams is probably how they saw it as opposed to the total amount of points scored across both games.
Worrying signs for NZ youth Rugby, getting pumped and scraping home by 1 point in game 2, especially with Super Rugby and current 7's internationals in the side. Looks like we have finally found a goal kicker in NZ which is good.
Laidlaw is new coach .., normal but there are many talent in this nz squad for the RWC.
They will be better step by step.
The backline looked good. The pack.......... worrying.
Nah all good.
Slightly disrespecting a talented Aussie side two good teams
I agree. Our 20s don't play enough. The under 20s 6 nations is by far the best youth competition.
Way to go Taha ....remember you played with Jason Ray and Darian and bless ....they could've been in there with you
Quality game, with some quality players coming through the systems. But most concerning is the completely empty stands....
Results of our woke governments
AwakenBeerus is truly something special. I trust him as my sports guru and would highly recommend him to everyone
Keep this young Aussie team away from Aussie coaches.. they’ll Ruin them in no time! They need to be developed, not stunted. ARU needs to invest at this stage of a young athletes life. This is where they learn the tricks of the trade.. Give them a kiwi or a decent NH coach.
Yes agreed, there is promising talent here... Send them to develop in the UK or NZ.
You’ve got to love the all blacks!!!
Where is the crowd?
At least these highlights are long
I liked the form of the NZ Fullback…
Ball at the Aussie 8's feet, NZ's scrum moving backwards under pressure, ref says "use the ball"! Why?
Lucky to edge that one. Oz pack is a thing of ugly effectiveness. NZ U20's forwards coach has work to do. Not overly impressed. Beware the French U20's.
be good if all the ABs 20s and black ferns train with the ABs .. be good to put them in the same environment and teach each other :)
#15 Has the goods. Aussie forward pack were awesome. Hopefully nrl doesn't poach our players lol. Wallabies look good in the near future but so do our Boys.
Sorry if mispelt ❤
How was this not advertised? Lol
NZ scrum was a joke.
The N.Z. front row need a desperate Jack Up, if they are going to move forward in the competition. The Junior All Blacks that is.
It pisses me off when the Haka is excellent and the scrum is crap, priorities boys, sort it out. Get Mike Cron involved FFS. Brilliant pass by Aussie 10at 1.50, thats special, the Aussie forwards looked better than most of the Aussie super teams. 3.15 late tackle Yellow card against NZ 10
Wallabies 🤙
11:37 meow
Godfrey to debut 2024
Debut where
Australia loosehead not going in straight on the scrums as why the tight head for NZ head keeps popping up cuz he’s angling in
Nz 10 copped it late a few times
Australia must be favorites for the U20 WC. They nearly it won last time so there's a good chance they will do so this year
Junior Wallabies annihilated by Irish U20s (30 - 10) at World Champs yesterday!
Love kweese
Why is this saying 8hrs ago!!!?
The forwards are going to be destroyed by the European teams as well as the JSP, and Argentina. Georgia might fancy their chances too.
Yes
Which team?
@@NoName-hg6cc NZ
@@JaemanEdwards Though neither Argentina or Georgia are in the same pool
@@NoName-hg6cc Doesn't mean NZ won't play them
Bloody terrible from the NZ u20s. Clearly can’t scrum and got dominated in the forwards
All these people going on about the NZ forward's,you must all think, this isn't going to be fixed, I remember when the Top school's where played in SA and people said NZ school's weren't even close to SA or even NH school's teams,I think Hamilton boy's high didn't bother, reading comments on the Rugby post's,and decided, they wouldn't follow the ney sayers doom and gloom script,
I never back away from any NZ team, that's foolish talk,
That nz tight hed gave up to much chest space .. expect to get pumped, no levrage
Shame about the crowd!
Those are under 20? They look like 24 yrs olds
private schoolboys vs new zealand rugby players
If we don't sort out a great tight 5 we are going to get embarrassed. Simple
Yes
What’s wrong with NZ scrumming wtf🤷🏽♂️
Video qo bociii
If the opposing team pushes in a scrum but you still manage to hook the ball back then if a penalty is given to the pushing team then what is the point of the "Hooker" then? Rugby is fast becoming woke....Too many rules for infringement is making the game into an unplayable injury plumaged event.
Wasn't Very convincing. But a win is a win I suppose.
