I'm french too and as much as i love Ireland the country and its people, it's a BORING team to watch and an aging team : i just hate what they've done to the game of rugby and the way the refs let them get away with it, BUT (sorry to say : thankfully !) it has flaws which are consistently exposed in longer tournaments especially in WC (starting by Sexton who's old and notoriously fragile but still impossible to really replace and who probably be injured again before the final rounds) ... even when we were down through 2010 to 2020 they never really beat us clean and fair or convincingly, and we were clearly awful at our lowest ... so honestly not that excited about Ireland but rather really worried about the All blacks who look as low as i ever saw them.
Bravo à nos amis irlandais. Le rugby européen relève la tête, et la prochaine coupe du monde doit revenir sur notre continent. Félicitations pour cette victoire historique.
I'm from the little island Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. I have always supported All Blacks. But today I had to cheer up to the Irish men automatically. The played some real classy rugby 🏉 and they key for their win was being faster than the All Blacks. Congratulations ❤️
Unfortunately for Ireland, failing to reach a World Cup semi or more is what’s missing from their achievements. They have to break that hoodoo sometime. Whether they are peaking too early, we won’t know until next year. They are at least showing consistency and that they can compete with any team. Not sure whether Sexton will still be around then, and it doesn’t look like you have much to fall back on at fly half. But you’re in a much better place than we in Wales are at the moment.
I'm glad that I got up at 6.30 this morning (Irish time) and had my brekky, washed down with a cup of tea, and then settled in for the match. I wached with trepidition in the early stages of the match.....but then something glorious happened....I stopped bitting my nails & fretting and started to believe in my team. And Glory.....it started happening! We were beating the All Blacks in their own back yard. Happy Days! Ireland 32 - New Zealand 22
As a Welshman I can only admire and congratulate Ireland on their incredible rugby and series win. Something my country it seems will never match. Brilliant Ireland 👍

Brilliant by Ireland, got better and better as the series went on (the opposite of what many feared, including myself) and this was a stunning climax.. Beirne, Sexton, VDF, Keenan, Doris, outstanding. From an Irish person, nothing but respect for the All Blacks - gracious in defeat and will undoubtedly come back strong. Finally - the NZ TV commentary is the best in the business. Great series!!
I am speechless and awed by the Irish team. I thought it would have been an AB win but it turned out to be a Green Blitz. Congratulation on an impressive win and can not wait to see you in the WC. hard Luck to the AB's i am sure they will pick up the Pieces leading to the WC.
You mean the season where Ireland won a Six Nations Grand slam, including away wins against England and France, thumped Argentina and South Africa, won a 3 game series away in Australia and then beat the All Blacks?
@@louisv5345 unless we beat France and South Africa we can’t say that. We are just behind France and we’ll have a better idea of where we are once we play south africa
Nah as an Irishman, the 2018 side was one of the best sides we've ever had and easily our most successful when you take into account that team won the grand slam, test series in Australia (first for us) and beat England, France, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand that year. This team is great but if we won the six nations and beat France, this would be better. This is our biggest achievement as a nation, but not our best year overall
A very proud day to be Irish, you measure yourself against the best, and we've managed to beat the best on home soil. Magnificent achievement. And I must congratulate the commentators on this video they're always very generous to Ireland.
Fantastic Ireland. Never a more deserved series win. About as dominating as I have ever seen any team vs All Blacks at home. If you can maintain this tremendous momentum through to next years World Cup it’s yours. Now the All Blacks have a tough decision to make regarding their coach. If Ian is to be replaced they need to do it now, to give Razor enough time to rebuild before the Cup. Paradoxically, there might be an upside to this series defeat. I’ve seen previous World Cups (‘91, ‘03, ‘07) where the All Blacks have thrashed nearly everyone the year before and been unable to maintain that through the Cup. Some underdog status going into next year might just galvanize us. Perhaps this is the defeat we had to have. But right now…for the first time in decades, the Northern Hemisphere game has overtaken the South. And I think I’m not the only All Blacks fan that would want Ireland to win the World Cup if we don’t. Just don’t give me the nightmare of hearing bloody “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” after the final 😁
I still think the all blacks and spring boks will be at there best on the biggest stage of all along with the hosts france. I think us irish just need to take one game at a time
As a [insert nationality here] rugby loving spectator what a great game of 🏉. Both sides gave it their all. Congratulations Ireland and a fine rugby spectacle no matter where you're from!
Thanks Mark. I watched Ireland beat NZ in 2021, in Lincoln alongside my future Yorkshire son-in-law...after the birth of my grandson...and then cheered with him in the following England- Australia match. English people in the bar came over to congratulate me. Such respect in rugby. Proud to have a half-Irish/half-English grandson.
@@fintansheerin2422 Well there's a lot of us Irish/English around you know. The really fun part will be watching your grandson's face when he's old enough to see Ireland play England. He'll start off looking really conflicted before it dawns on him that he can't really lose either way :)
A great victory for Ireland that showed both strength and skills. And a reminder to the All Blacks that they need to be again the team we all look up to. From Argentina!
You can thank the cancellation of Tri Nations etc and not having the chance to continually play world class teams. Loss of playing against the South African super teams who are now North and dominated.
Iteland has become a powerhouse in Europe winning everything I'm guessing from your country u don't watch no offence intended it's just as a irishman we did expect to win this it was 3 wins from 5 between Iteland and the all blacks before s ball was kicked 😊
Every NZ v Ire game has been crackin in recent years since the gap between the 2 has gone. Now we're almost guaranteed a brilliant game, a bit like the NZ v SA rivalry. I'd argue the NZ v Ireland ones have more of a chance of quality viewing as both teams play somewhat similar running passing rugby.
As an Irish man it fills me with pride to see the performance and achievement of this Irish rugby team. What a great and historic moment, enjoy boys! Hopefully we can carry this level of performance into the World Cup. Also commiserations to New Zealand, played a good game, but were outplayed by a better team on the day. No doubt they will be back to their blistering best soon. ☘️🇮🇪
Ireland you owe the Scarlets a debt of gratitude for bringing tadgh beirne back to life a turnover machine and an extra loose forward the guy has it all
In terms of South African Rugby they have to lift their game by a couple of notches to beat Ireland after their lackluster home series against Wales. They have taken a step back to how they played in 2015. The rest of the world is improving I do not see it in South Africa. South Africa might be the World Champions but should not take it for granted, Ireland and France are both looking pretty good so nothing is for granted
Nearly a year ago and I've lost count of the amount of times I've watched these highlights. Best ever victory for Ireland in my opinion, only the 5th team in history to win a series in New Zealand. If we could replicate this form in the world cup we have a good chance, but it will be tough. The All Blacks, France, Springboks and even a resurgent Australia can all win it. It will be the best rugby world cup to date I think. I still have huge respect for the All Blacks as a team, they'll always be the best and the measuring stick in my opinion. Can't wait to see a fantastic world cup in France!
Ireland's ruck speed is a joy to behold. So good at the breakdown, slick with ball in hand, and so powerful in defence...they're a cracking team. France, Ireland, SA, NZ.....it's going to be a spicy world cup next year!
The key is when you get to this level of rugby which takes years and years its maintaining it over a considerable length of time. The All Black's have been at that level and maintained it for 30 years. Now they are there Ireland need to play like that consistently week after week, month after month and year after year and create a culture, belief and expectation to have that level of play as "normal". This is what makes greatness and its what Ireland should strive for as they absolutely have the talent, quality, support and desire. It is what has separated the All Black's from the rest of the world for decades. Magical rugby and an absolute joy to watch. Thank you Ireland 🇮🇪
As a Rugby fan from Ireland I appreciate the All Blacks are showing the highlights of this 3rd test match proud day to be Irish got up early to watch it this morning the New Zealand commentary is very balanced and fair and witness Ireland making history by winning a Test series on New Zealand soil against the All Blacks
I’m a loyal AB through thick and thin. But man, that was humbling. Sometimes, we need these to show that ‘Gods’ do bleed. We’ve been at the top of the game for so long we forget the hunger that other teams possess. They came to win, we went to defend. There’s a mindset difference there. Of course, no team, no player ever goes into a match wanting to lose… of course not, but not all teams go in knowing they can win - and Ireland had that in spades. They deserved it. We have the team, we just don’t have that hunger or desire to remain undefeated. Ten years ago, the motivation was to uphold the rate of success and no one, NO ONE wanted to lose that…. Now I feel like we’ve just become a little complacent and have accepted that everyone has gotten better. Here’s to the lads for a transformative humbling and hopefully a motivational camp toward the RWC to prove once again to the world, why we were so revered. Faamalosi, lads, and Kia Kaha!
Outstanding performance by Ireland, I'm delighted to be an Irish supporter and today was a proud day BUT, there is a lot of work to do if we want to put in the best performance ever in next year's world cup. NZ still managed to come back and close the margin. Not by a team display but more individual brilliance. Ireland should have closed out this and last week's game in the first half but didn't so we need to work on closing out the game when the opportunity arises, just like NZ have done in years passed. Don't understand why everyone is blaming Foster though, he isn't on his own in the coaching department and the players have to take responsibility just like every other team. Ireland lost under Schmidt but we weren't looking for his head
Fair play to Ireland, AF and his team have created something special. The talent pool is enormous for a small country where rugby comes in third or fourth as a sport! Must commend the commentary team, first class and fair! The AB's will be back and better, always will be the benchmark in world rugby. Special mention to Joe Schmidt, he changed our mindset and style!
Ireland are a well-coached, well-drilled outfit, with a very skillful, confident team currently. Joe Schmidt laid the foundations, gave them the belief and Andy Farrell has carried that on. Hats off to Ireland.
First of all congratulations Ireland, you’ve achieved something that not many sides have ever achieved and you thoroughly deserve the success. For NZ rugby this is what happens when you treat the All Black coach selection like the British monarchy and refuse to select the best candidate for the job. The All Black coach shouldn’t just be given to the assistant every time someone retires. Scott Robertson was the best candidate by a mile and still is
IAN FOSTER'S ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Has the lowest winning percentage for any All Blacks coach 2. Lost against Argentina for the first time ever 3. Lost against Ireland at home for the first time 4. Lost 2 consecutive tests at home after 24 years 5. Lost a test at Forsyth Barr for the first time 6. Lost a 3 match home series after 36 years IMPRESSIVE If he continues he could break the Eden Park record as well...
Ummm welcome to the real world of rugby All Blacks and fans. The All Blacks are allowed to lose and be in a slump, exactly like every other rugby team. Chill out
But Fossie should have never been coach. Everyone knows this… he was the 5th best coach in line. Obvious names such as Robertson, Joseph, Gatland and Rennie basically showed up to the interview as due process. I mean Fossie had a 50% win rate with the Chiefs… what do you expect?
Tadhg Beirne imo is the best back 5 forward in the world. He isn't a fancy showman like Itoje and a few others, he just gets on with his job in an understated and workman like manner. If I were picking a lion's squad he'd be my first name on the sheet. He's not the best at any one skill, but like Faletau he's pretty much faultless at everything he does. Always does the right thing at the right time.
he really has become world class. i was just thinking about the damage beirne and an in form itoje would do to teams for the lions haha. not that i like the lions at all and think it should be scrapped but he's at that level.
@@RazorMouth what I like is he wins a massive turnover and gets up and starts organising people around him, and getting into position quickly. Itoje wins a turnover and has to stand up and beat his chest like Tarzan and the whole England team have to spend 5 minutes patting his back and hugging each other. Don't get me wrong being Welsh it's difficult to say but he's a great player, but Beirne is much better and very consistent.
I don’t know game 2 they basically played 1 man down majority of the game and game 3 that was pretty controversial call against ardie at the end their could have gone very very differently comprehensively I wouldn’t say that

Thanks from this Irishman living in Poitiers ;-)
We might get to play each other at the WC ??
@@moc7323 possibly and that would be great, it is always a great game!
Thanks to NZRU for hosting. ABs will be back. Incredible stuff from Ireland.
The Rugby World doesn't want them to be back. Time to move on from the All Blacks obsession

Outstanding display Ireland! Some of the best attacking rugby I've seen in a long time. The second try is wonderful. Congratulations!.
Just a word on the commentators. Really good quality and seemed genuinely pleased and complimentary when Ireland did something good.
Strong Ireland..Greetings from Georgia 💚🤍🧡
Thanks from Dublin 🇮🇪
thank you bruv
The Irish were incredible,truly incredible.

I'm from the little island Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. I have always supported All Blacks. But today I had to cheer up to the Irish men automatically. The played some real classy rugby 🏉 and they key for their win was being faster than the All Blacks.
Congratulations ❤️
Well done Ireland, awesome series win - from a Welshman. You just got to keep the momentum going into the World Cup
Ireland wont make it out of the quater finals
@@lazytitan8038 dun do bheal amadan!
@@lazytitan8038 they will one day

A pleasure to watch and wonderful to have knowledgeable commentators with a balanced outlook. Thanks for getting these up so quick!
What a great old-style tour with mid week games. More like that please. Thanks Ireland and NZ!
Incroyable, vive l’Irlande 💪
As a Welshman I can only admire and congratulate Ireland on their incredible rugby and series win. Something my country it seems will never match. Brilliant Ireland 👍
Never say that, cause I said same about Ireland too, now look what happened. 🇮🇪🏴☘️👍
Well done to Ireland and congratulations on a series victory.
Hard luck Abs. Some great plays and you tried your best.
Next time. Onwards we go.
For me it was great to see some new faces around and serve you. After this Corona it was a delight seeing some happy smiles, banter and being normal.
To the Iriah who are still here enjoy NZ and the true people that make it great and for those travelling home. Stay safe.
I always say Irland is the dark horse, they play well when you least expect it. Well done.🇿🇦
This is glorious viewing, absolutely glorious. Great stuff Ireland
A brutal humbling, ouch. Well played Ireland, thanks for keeping our team honest and ruining our weekend.
Well said.
😂 yep, these encounters are getting better and better though.
I am speechless and awed by the Irish team. I thought it would have been an AB win but it turned out to be a Green Blitz. Congratulation on an impressive win and can not wait to see you in the WC. hard Luck to the AB's i am sure they will pick up the Pieces leading to the WC.
A few years ago Ireland reach No1 in irb rankings. They did not seem like the number 1 side. This time they deserve it.
*Laughing in french intensifies* Hon Hon Hon...
@@stephendeane7509 no cos we did not reach No1 after those games, we did just before world cup where we wer terrible.
Outstanding performance ; a beautiful fighting green Army ! Thanks a lot guys !!! I'm an Ireland french fan, so proud of them !!
A very proud day to be Irish, you measure yourself against the best, and we've managed to beat the best on home soil. Magnificent achievement. And I must congratulate the commentators on this video they're always very generous to Ireland.
The best?
at the moment we arent the best 4th best maybe
Thanks from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
I still think the all blacks and spring boks will be at there best on the biggest stage of all along with the hosts france. I think us irish just need to take one game at a time

I love the fact this match was decided without any red cards. Best team won 🏆
Absolutely elite, professional match call. A credit to the broadcast team. Wish we had more like them in the States.
As a [insert nationality here] rugby loving spectator what a great game of 🏉. Both sides gave it their all. Congratulations Ireland and a fine rugby spectacle no matter where you're from!
NZ commentator an absolute gem here, perfect objectivity when NZ were under pressure.
Not just a historic and well deserved win - but a really fun game to watch! Well done Ireland, from an Englishman. 👍

Awesome to watch, incredible play of rugby from Ireland and well deserved win.
Nobody really saying how good a game of rugby this was. An incredible series, some cracking rugby by both teams!
Nine months later it looks even better
Every NZ v Ire game has been crackin in recent years since the gap between the 2 has gone.
Now we're almost guaranteed a brilliant game, a bit like the NZ v SA rivalry.
I'd argue the NZ v Ireland ones have more of a chance of quality viewing as both teams play somewhat similar running passing rugby.
Absolutely fantastic, that's one that will stay with me forever, congratulations to all concerned, magical
Your comment is awesome and I agree with you I will like us be friends if that’s okay with you?
Ireland you owe the Scarlets a debt of gratitude for bringing tadgh beirne back to life a turnover machine and an extra loose forward the guy has it all
Your comment is awesome and I agree with you I will like us be friends if that’s okay with you?
As a SA fan, i'm excited to see how Ireland does against them. I think Ireland is on it's way up to being a #1 team with this level of play.
Ireland is rank 1 in the world currently.
Awesome! Well done Ireland! Paying sensational rugby! Best team at the moment. Wonderfull to watch. Playing with joy. Amazing!
You're mad to write off Eddie Jones England team
Spicy half a world cup.
The 4 best teams in the world on the same side of the RWC draw. Ridiculous 🤦♂️
@@decmurray-sanchez969. Say that now 😂😂😂
Enterprising skills from a team to look out for this coming RWC. Well done Ireland you totally deserve all accolades rugby.
can't win a quarter final though xD
3rd Irish try was a work of art.
NZ has spent 2 years hiding behind sofas under Ardern :)
@@phughes4224 that's ridiculous. You would think no other country had the same issue
Gods?? Geez, and to think the All Blacks had big enough heads you call them Gods?? How arrogant is that comparison
Gods? lmfao
From South Africa, Irish rugby is beautiful
Congratulations Lads!!! Proud to be Irish ☘️!!!🤟💪🇮🇪
I could and will watch this over and over again. Can we keep doing this to the All Blacks I believe so yes .
Excellent series played by the Irish, and nice to see a well contested game in which the ABs haven’t resorted to their usual foul play.
Ireland are a well-coached, well-drilled outfit, with a very skillful, confident team currently. Joe Schmidt laid the foundations, gave them the belief and Andy Farrell has carried that on. Hats off to Ireland.
I believe you spot on my thoughts exactly
First of all congratulations Ireland, you’ve achieved something that not many sides have ever achieved and you thoroughly deserve the success.
For NZ rugby this is what happens when you treat the All Black coach selection like the British monarchy and refuse to select the best candidate for the job. The All Black coach shouldn’t just be given to the assistant every time someone retires. Scott Robertson was the best candidate by a mile and still is
@Random Thought yep it's not just the coach, NZ seems like a team of individuals.
A proper Rugby team needs a few leaders.
Hitting the cross bar should automatically award 2 points.
IAN FOSTER'S ACHIEVEMENTS
1. Has the lowest winning percentage for any All Blacks coach
2. Lost against Argentina for the first time ever
3. Lost against Ireland at home for the first time
4. Lost 2 consecutive tests at home after 24 years
5. Lost a test at Forsyth Barr for the first time
6. Lost a 3 match home series after 36 years
IMPRESSIVE
If he continues he could break the Eden Park record as well...
Could lose the Bledisloe cup too at this rate
Ummm welcome to the real world of rugby All Blacks and fans. The All Blacks are allowed to lose and be in a slump, exactly like every other rugby team.
Chill out
But Fossie should have never been coach. Everyone knows this… he was the 5th best coach in line. Obvious names such as Robertson, Joseph, Gatland and Rennie basically showed up to the interview as due process. I mean Fossie had a 50% win rate with the Chiefs… what do you expect?
You forgot to mention he was on the coaching team for first ever lose to Ireland in America and in Ireland.
@@elscruffomcscruffy8371 well the All Blacks have never been considered like every other rugby team. At least not in my life time.
A truly outstanding performance and a brilliant game. The NZ commentary beautifully unbiased, helping to make it even better
Me and brother said exacly this. Animal today
he really has become world class. i was just thinking about the damage beirne and an in form itoje would do to teams for the lions haha. not that i like the lions at all and think it should be scrapped but he's at that level.
Player of the match by a country mile
@@RazorMouth what I like is he wins a massive turnover and gets up and starts organising people around him, and getting into position quickly.
Itoje wins a turnover and has to stand up and beat his chest like Tarzan and the whole England team have to spend 5 minutes patting his back and hugging each other.
Don't get me wrong being Welsh it's difficult to say but he's a great player, but Beirne is much better and very consistent.

I never thought I'd see the day when the All Blacks were comprehensively outplayed at home. Well done the Irish!
And then the ABs being the ABs brought it back to 3 points, I nearly got sick remembering 2013.
I don’t know game 2 they basically played 1 man down majority of the game and game 3 that was pretty controversial call against ardie at the end their could have gone very very differently comprehensively I wouldn’t say that
