What a way to remember this game. Beauden Barrett's 100th game. The man scores the first and last try of the game. Both intercepts and cracks the Man Of the Match.. yeahhhh..
But is he the best 10 for the ABs though?

Faaark..I rekn the way sevu hit the ground popped the ball..got back to his feet to receive the ball in the same motion pass and then receive the ball back to score was phenomenal.
This try was the best in this game. In fact the best try in the whole year. Salute to that try, Rees was absolute classy getting up on his feet in no time.
Absolutely bamboozled the defenders, that's why Siya Kolisi tackled him the way he did last month. Because if you don't he will get up and do something like that.
Yep, the things Sevu Reece did in that entire phase show a man at the top of his game. I believe he was substituted in, so had the fresh legs. It showed.
It's like Sevu can play sevens style against 15 opponents, it's insane the skill set Sevu has.

Friends, I am from Canada. I started watching the Blacks after Sean passed. Now I am hooked. I don’t know much about Rugby, but I will learn. As a Canadian I was hooked on hockey. However, so disappointed what the game has become so now I am trading hockey for rugby. Go Chiefs ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Sevu Reece’s try has to be Try of the Year - at least a top contender……the skill and ability to score that try let alone go through such fast ball passing phases and support was simply breathtaking - absolutely mesmerising and scintillating rugby from the All Blacks………all those tries had black magic written all over them 💯🔥❤️

The Will Jordan try was outstanding, the Sevu Reece effort even better and Beaudy to take two intercepts to cap his 100th, unreal.

was rather annoyed they mentioned nothing of the fact that Reece got the bounce, offloaded during tackle then got back up STRAIGHT away to receive the next offload. That was top tier rugby, most players would take a little bit to get back up but that beautiful. Coming from a wallabies supporter as well, I'll never not enjoy watching the All Blacks when I get to watch this type of rugby.
Yeah that was absolute class from the boys. The other try's of the game were spectacular athleticism but Reece's commitment to the ball on that one takes the cake. He was 3 men in 1.
Its funny that people argue over whos the best choice for each position, just goes to show the overall depth of NZ rugby
Not really a problem, but the All Blacks have too much depth. They lose some amazing players.

Andy Powell was almost spot on with his prediction. I wanted Wales to be closer but intercepts cost them dear. Still, always a pleasure to watch All Black skills. Chapeau to both teams for the spectacle.

A tough 1st half. But the All Blacks made it rain in the 60th minute onwards. Great game , cannot wait for the other games. Also great performance by Beauden Barrett on his 100th test.

BB is just too good, what a team though. They didn’t give him the opportunities…he took them! Jordan is the magic man, reminds me a little of Dagg, he has the magic, Sevu is a battler, our backs are just wicked, they are a real go forward running style

Sevu is much more than just a battler... he doesn't need to be _given_ opportunities, he *creates* them through his sheer hard working, never-give-up attitude. Just look at his try... chases the fuck out out of the kick through by Jordie, beats the Welsh defender to the ball as he goes to ground... pops up the pass to a teammate, then gets his arse off the ground so quick he's able to be there in support of that teammate for the return pass... then flicks the ball outside to another teammate, and is still in support for that return pass to out-sprint the defence and score. Holy snappin' duckshit Batman!!! That one's right up there with the some of the best tries you'll ever see.
Sevu always looks like hes having a great time out there, I think that's why hes such a good decision maker. Hes not stressed when under pressure because he has the right in it for the love of the game mentality.

The rugby is just full of 'event tourists' who want to go for a day out on the beer & care little about the sport.

Totally different audiences now at the football and the rugby, and not being able to drink in your seat at the football makes the watching experience so much better. 2 weeks time Wales play Belarus on the Saturday and Fiji on the Sunday, will be two very different atmospheres.

He was the best player on the park in the loss against SA. I was there at the ground and he was immense!
Ardie plays better at 8, not because he isn't a great 7 but he add more dynamism to the no 8, massive workrate and let other workhorse at 7 to be played. Bring more balance to the loose forward. I genuinely believe he is way better at 8 for the All Blacks than at 7. Let Papali'i and Cane focus at 7 as to bring the extra bit of defensive mongrel where Savea can focus more on attack. Akira, Jacobson and Blackadder at 6. Solid stuff!
Anyway, Papali'i is such an underrated player, tireless in defence and attack, not just that, he also gives extra lineout option as well.
Should have been MOTM really but sentiment meant Beaudy got the gong.
As a South African, Ardie Savea was always freakishly strong at 7... Now that he's a grown man hitting his prime its no surprise to see him at 8, his power is matching his soft skills that he always had as a youngster

Welsh fan here .. yes Wales missing lots of players but no excuses....I just love the accuracy , handling skills and awareness of all blacks .. doesn't matter who they play once the all blacks get in behind the opposition it's usually try time the support play of the ball carrier and offloads in the tackle are devastating .. dai iawn👍.. nz commentary is always really good as well.. can we borrow them to do commentary for next 6 nations 🏴👍

Amen. And quickly up as well. Franchise watching is so not for everyone, and getting more and more restrictive. Just last week, and I think I can afford, pension, $41 per month, Sky, 9 sport and all News. Plus Soho and free view. Been a long time since seeing some NASCAR, Black Sticks, Netball, and Rugby.

Wales fan here and let’s get it straight, we got beat, schooled and outclassed. Clearest moment for me was commentary saying “Wales trying the offload and the receiver wasn’t expecting the pass”. Meanwhile NZ props, 40 metres from the play, facing the opposite direction, laying on the floor with three bodies on top are saying “Better get up in case Barrett passes to me”. Next level skills, awareness and just a true pleasure to watch.
Remember Nigel Owens lecturing players on the football stadium being down the road if they wanted to dive about.
Today he would have been calling NZ over and reminding them they were supposed to be playing rugby, not basketball!!!

The All Blacks were incredible. They play a different game to the rest of the teams
i reckon ABS style is the most entertaining. All the other teams are so worried about winning/losing that they dont play freely. ABs play to their skills and express themselves then you see the worlds best rugby ... In 2017 ABS beat South Africa 57- 0. A score no other team will ever match. by expressing themselves.
AB's make Rugby Union look like the best sport in the world. They always deliver.

Not a great Test match compared to AB v SA,but Wales put up a good fight,but skill and execution was their downfall,running across field and not changing , angles..AB defence shut them down .

Was there. First time to see the AB's live. So amazing to be there. Shame the Premiership clubs didn't release so many top Welsh players. The players should have the power to make the decision to play for their countries if selected.
That’s exactly how all the Pacific Islanders feel about their players not being related by their European clubs to play for their countries during WorldCup. This has been our bane for YEARS
Don't forget NZ are missing a lot of their players they can't select as they can't pick their players that play in Britain, Japan and France. People tend to forget this. Maybe Wales should do what NZ do and say if you don't play in Wales, you can't play for Wales. NZ are in the same boat - however, people forget about it as they have so much depth in NZ.
