Very nice video. A suggestion for those who are into original CPRR construction era 1860's. Meade Kibbey, author of "The Railway photos of Alfred Hart, Artist". His book is worth a study. He took several before and after shots back in the 90's, while documenting the works' of Hart, on Donner Pass. Thanks, from Darrell, an enthusiast of CPRR/UP.
Image quality is great, if only everything cleaned up that nice. One thing, it looks like a few shots are too fast. People walking oddly and smoke, not dancing correctly. A few extra seconds adds to the runtime, and that's always a good thing too.
The observation car has the logo of the California Nevada and Pacific Coast Railroad, but when I search for details of the RR, nothing emerges about it. Are you able to help, please ?
THANK YOU!
Superb stuff ! Clearest images of any I've seen from you - so far . . .
I would love to see that last Cab Forward restored.
wow, an alco challenger going backward, awesome

I’m pretty sure that was just the historical society that was sponsoring the excursion.
