Hi!:) It’s the first Tchaikovsky’s piece on my channel! This is a solo piano version arranged by P. A. Grainger. When I started to practice this piece, I thought it wouldn’t be the technically difficult piece. But, it was harder than I thought. In the first record, I failed to record it because LED lights disturb lots of jump playing. So, I had to record again after practicing more, results in the late upload. Anyways, always thank you for your support! I hope that you enjoy my performance. Be careful of COVID19. Have a nice day!

Now it is the national anthem of Russia, until the end of 2022, the first concert of Tchaikovsky at the world championships and the olympic games will be played in honor of the victories of the russian team 👍

@@Elena-ef7dk i love russian composer tchaikovsky and i love russian people too. but Russia today has become an oligarchy where people are oppressed and it would be disrespectful to the greatest composer in the world. Anyway, the Russian anthem of now is already magnificent in my opinion. I wouldn't mind that the Russian anthem was Concerto N1 (that is the perfection in my opinion, I have never heard anything better in my life) but if it were to represent what Russia has become then, yes I would be disappointed, even a lot

Wow, I have always loved this piece of music, but only these graphic representations of tones have helped me to realise the complexity and depth of Tchaikovsky 's work - he was a genius - thank you for this video and great performance :-)

In his youth Tchaikovsky confessed to one of his friends that he could not stand the sonority of the piano associated with that of the orchestra. Astonishing for someone who composed one of the most brilliant concertos for piano and orchestra ever written. Your interpretation of the transcription for solo piano is truly remarkable, and I would love to hear you in the entire concerto with orchestra.

I don't care for those flashy LED light recordings, usually avoid them, not taking them seriously. But this time I was so desperately looking for a good piano solo of Tchaikovsky's 1st concerto that I even tried this one. I stand corrected: This performance is serious - seriously awesome! Wonderful rendition, perfect timing, exact playing! Thank you for sharing. I'm so glad I check your video out - despite the silly LED lights!

What I prefer in Kassia's performances is that it is not perfect. It is not edited to be the most perfect possible, and look the best possible. It is his/her pure performance and no editing behind, so we see some imperfection but more importantly see there is near to no imperfection, in contrary to Rousseau for example who sometimes makes false notes but cuts them in the Synthesia... Thumbs up for that! 👍🏼
