Hello! I am sorry for the late uploading. Recently, I decided to move to another country. So, I had to prepare lots of things. Anyway, at this time, I prepared Rachmaninoff’s concerto No.2 1st movement. It is one of the famous piano concertos. At 1897, his first symphony was derided by contemporary critics. He fell into a depression. After courses of psychotherapy, he was able to overcome it and write this piece. So, this concerto was dedicated to Nikolai Dahl, the Russian physician which helped him. To make video for piano concerto, a new system had to be prepared. Thus, lots of money and time was required. With the support in Patreon and Buy me a coffee, the system was able to be prepared. I attach the credit for them. In addition, for orchestra, I used Tonic Chord's accompaniment audio file. I hope that it will be helpful for people wondering. I really appreciate the support.:) I hope that you guys enjoy it! Have a great day!

Although I don't play the piano, I play the violin and guitar, this piece has always been my favorite one. I like Rachmaninoff's music bcuz his music just speaks to you. He went through a lot of things personally with himself, as did a lot of people, and made these pieces to express himself and a lot of people felt the same way he did when listening to his music, including myself.
Absolutely awesome! I haven't heard this performance yet but I'm sure it'll be astounding as usual. I think Rachmaninoff truly composed the best musical pieces combining the Russian culture and a more modern western world approach. Keep up the great work Kassia!
Yeah, the climax is beautiful in this movement, but the section from 3:30 to 4:00 is just out of this world, the transition from a dark, melancholic theme to a beautiful but also melancholic theme. It's like living a long time in darkness and coming out from that darkness, it's shiny, but the light itself feels sorrowful, melancholic because it doesn't mean anything for you now. I relate this to his depression which made him to live 4 awful years. And the section right after the climax (especially from 7:30 to 7:58) is something divine, can't describe with words. Thank you Kassia for such an amazing performance.
@@he1zouu I really don't think that's "sacrilegious". Everyone enjoys different things - so be it. Let's be glad we get to have this experience, and let others have theirs with other music.
This is the only recording I could find where you can see the pianists fingers, so I thank you very much for posting this video that I can use as a reference for fingers if I can’t think of a good fingering 😊

I've watched this movie in french class and I was the only person who appreciated classical music. The whole class thought the movie was boring and I was like: shut up you uncultured swine!
@Sethy Sonta if someone didn't knew about classical music existence, or not even knowing which was, for instance, Mozart, I would say they are uncultured. But is quite similar to what Evgeny Kissin said recently, something like "I don't even know what reggaeton is". He is an amazing pianist, but for me that shows a very low level of musical culture (obviously not in classical music).
You are truly above and beyond Kassia....this is absolutely incredible! Thank you for performing my favorite Rachmaninoff concerto because I have a job interview today and this helps calm my nerves. Edit: The interview went really well.
There's truly only a handful of people walking planet Earth at any given time that can pull off this tremendous piece. And I always think of the fact that must have been going through the composers mind when they would have written such pieces. I've seen it live twice and each time it's a life changing experience. Great job playing the first movement Kassia.

Amazing!!!
Yeah now I want the other two movements and the other concertos.
OH MY GOD INCREDIBLE
I HAVEN'T BEEN CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FOR A FEW DAYS AS I WAS CAMPING AND THEN I RETURNED AND SAW THIS IN MY RECOMMENDATIONS AND HAD TO IMMEDIATELY CLICK
THIS IS INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU KASSIA!
5:24 - 7:21 You can’t prove me wrong that this is the best part of the piece.
@deniz117I changed my mind, you’re right.
it's always the best parts that are the hardest...
@deniz117can't people have opinions
@deniz117I also like all of the movements
This is my favourite piano concerto ever, maybe my favourite concerto in all times. I wouldn't imagine to see you playing it so well, including the orchestral part, thanks you !
Gosh, it is my favorite piece! Thx for playing it!
I always love the part at 2:25 when tension is built up, but rather just droped istead of resolved.
Great performance btw
Incredible kassia. So much respect for your piano skills!
Thank you so much, Leuvre!:)💕
2:34 My favourite part.
He takes such a simple Eb major arpeggio and really turns it into something beautiful
2:43 - 2:46
do re si do#
me too…😭😭😭

Omg yes finally! Rachmaninoff approved this! Splendid interpretation Kassia!👏🏼👏🏼👌🏼❤️❤️
10:53 Watch very carefully and you’ll see the red light
2:37-3:07
3:37-3:46
4:02-4:15
just so beautiful
Also 9:33-9:57
6:51 my favorite part!😍 Can you play Gershwin's rhapsody in blue? Regards!
Omg me too! Actually the build up starting at around the 6 minute mark and then BOOM! It's so beautiful and inspiring!
Omg. My most favorite piano concerto. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart
Absolutely awesome! I haven't heard this performance yet but I'm sure it'll be astounding as usual. I think Rachmaninoff truly composed the best musical pieces combining the Russian culture and a more modern western world approach. Keep up the great work Kassia!
jesus christ just wow, people have been driven to insanity learning this concerto and she pulled it off perfectly
Love 6:50 - 7:20... Just the way the piano is going off and the strings are playing their beginning melody... Just the best.
Thank you for your long comment!:)💕
9:20 ist one of the most emotional pieces I've ever heard
I love how he teases the main theme of the second movement at 6:04

What? Only 171 728 views! SACRILEGIOUS! This deserve at least 1 billion views
@@he1zouu ikr lol
@@he1zouu I really don't think that's "sacrilegious". Everyone enjoys different things - so be it. Let's be glad we get to have this experience, and let others have theirs with other music.

You belong sitting on a stage, your graceful hands gliding along on a grand piano, the orchestra behind you accompanying your beautiful sounds.
6:51 just wow
This is the only recording I could find where you can see the pianists fingers, so I thank you very much for posting this video that I can use as a reference for fingers if I can’t think of a good fingering 😊

Nice.
The orchestra is awesome!!😃😃
For there is no other music piece greater than Rachmaninov Piano concerto 2, it will soar into eternity as I hope that God respects this timeless piece.
Bravissimo complimenti
Yeeeeeeees!
My second favorite concerto c:
Hi, Moratensis! Thank you for your support!💕
kassia Pls do Little Red Riding hood, Ètude Tabeleaux no 39. By Rachmaninoff or Dance of the reed flutes by Tchaikovsky next. Pls pls pls do one of these two
The young guy played this in the movie Au Bout des Doigts. Awesome performance, Kassia :)
Thank you!:)💕
I've watched this movie in french class and I was the only person who appreciated classical music. The whole class thought the movie was boring and I was like: shut up you uncultured swine!
@@daansijben7305 classical music is not for everyone (as any other music genre), you shouldn't consider someone uncultured because of that.
Daan Sijben nice to find someone else at a school age who can also appreciate classical music
I like how the piano can sound so calm, nice and slow, and so dangerous, menacing, loud and profound, what a beautiful instrument earth was given.
6:13 and onwards makes my heart sink, as does the entire piece, but specifically, this part makes it sink the most.
You are truly above and beyond Kassia....this is absolutely incredible! Thank you for performing my favorite Rachmaninoff concerto because I have a job interview today and this helps calm my nerves.
Edit: The interview went really well.
Piano Spiel good luck man! praying for you :)
@@marce_h579 Thank you SO much!
Thank you, Piano Spiel!!:) Have you finished the job interview well?:)
@@Kassiapiano It went very well, I think I got the job!! Thanks for asking!! 💕😊
As a ballet dancer, this is one of my favorite pieces to dance to. absolutely love this!
That'd be quite a view I must say!
I just saw it in my mind's eye - and instantly need to Google if such a choreography exist on RUclips somewhere
how would you dance to this 😅
Finally, I'm early at one of your beautiful interpretations :')
There's truly only a handful of people walking planet Earth at any given time that can pull off this tremendous piece. And I always think of the fact that must have been going through the composers mind when they would have written such pieces. I've seen it live twice and each time it's a life changing experience. Great job playing the first movement Kassia.
Can u hear weird noises in this sections?
1:38 - 1:44
4:42 - 4:48
6:44 - 6:50
9:12 - 9:18
10:30 - 10:36
Why they make the same pattern?
Its the orchestra...?
@@joycexxy1705 I dont think so. Maybe it's just a cable bad plugged or something. I dont know if everyone can hear it, cs I use headphone for produce music. If u hear closely, they r the same, the interference or whatever it is reapeats n r exatly the same
