    She's beautiful, and you'll get it the way you like it. I have my Bonafide rs 117. This is my 1st season, going from my Bixpy to the Torqueedo 1103. I'm still making adjustments. I do have a 100 amp hr lithium. She will last all day. I've hit 7 3 mph. But gas or electric all depends, on each boat. They're all different in there own way. Loving how most kayaks are motor ready now. Good luck..🙏 😎 🎣

      Thanks man. I love those Bixpy and Torqueedo motors. But too expensive in my opinion and batteries are also way out there. 7mph is awesome. Everyone haves different needs,, and is just finding what works best for you. Good luck, tight line and have fun.

    Curious could you have adapted the hand steering to your outboard motor ?

    • @spanglishangler
      @spanglishangler  3 года назад

      Yes,, I think that was possible with this motor as well. But then I would still have to do something about the throttle cable and bring it closer to me. Reasons why I ended up with this setup instead.

    Hello, I’m working on the same outboard motor with the outlaw 11.5. could you tell me how many inches long is the Vertical piece of lumber, holding the motor up? and is you outboard the 15’ model? also are you happy with the Depth of the propeller in the water. any help would be appreciated.

      Hello my friend. Sadly, I sold the kayak and motor already and did not took measurements for records. Sorry. All I can tell you is making it longer than what you think you will need and then take it on the water for a ride. From there you can always cut the length, but definitely can’t add with ease. Make sure the test ride you make is with the equipment (weight) you will normally be carrying. Good luck and have fun.

    Bro new sub and like your content. New to kayaking and for what I want to do the outlaw is what I want to. My opinion this boat has a lot for $750 and the color I want at Dick's (blue) bout to go tomorrow and pick it up. Keep up vids and ideas.

      Nice my friend. Glad you like the videos. Its not easy but comments like this! makes me wanna keep improving and making more videos. You are correct,, the Outlaw price is in my opinion the best kayak for the bang for your buck. The Dapper was my favorite color but they were out last year when I went to pick mine. So I ended up with the Grasshopper and loving it. Good luck picking it up tomorrow my friend.

    Nice bro! I'm trying to talk my wife into getting an outlaw. She is using a 10ft pescadore pro. How is the standing on the outlaw? Also, that salvage yard is a playground for diy guys! I will try to get by there next time we are down that way.

    • @spanglishangler
      @spanglishangler  3 года назад +1

      Hello Warren Conzone. I never used a Pescadore Pro! But I know people that used them in the past and now are much happier with the Outlaw. I can stand with no effort and no worries. Super stable. I can even cast an 8’ cast net with ease without losing my balance. I will try to make a video doing this next time. Don’s Salvage is my candy store. You can find ANYTHING you can imagine related to water vessels. Are you in Florida as well?

      @@spanglishangler Thanks for the info! I throw a net from my 12t as well. The outlaw just looks more stable with that wide stern. We are in central Fl. We are equal distance to both coasts. Last year we fished mostly west. This year it has been mostly east.

      @@Warrenwilds I see. My buddy also purchased an Ascend 12T but returned 2 weeks after back to BPS because somehow it was taking water and he did not like the low seat position. He ended up buying a Yupik by Jackson Kayak and now trying to sell that one so he can also purchase an Outlaw. He sees all the fun I am having with mine lol. So if you ever in the Gandy area in Tampa Bay let me know so I can show you some spot.
