I have 2 myself. I work for LL Bean and we are able to buy returned and damaged items at very low cost. I paid $350 for the pair which had minor cuts in the hull. I plastic welded both and they work as good as new. One also did not have the seat, but I fashioned one with a little lumber, an old canoe seat and the padded strap on seats for canoes. I am very happy with these. Do make sure to take good care of the seat as they are currently unavailable anywhere, including Perception's web site. If and when they do become available, it will run you a cool $180 - $200. Great review by the way!
Recently purchased 2 Outlaws for my girlfriend and I (Dapper and Grasshopper), ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! We live in the Ozarks and primarily use them in streams. They're definitely not the fastest boats but the stability and storage is second to none! For the price these are definitely the best fishing yaks in my opinion! Great job Perception
I’m weighing at 285 and at 5’11 this is one I’m looking to get for stability and to carry me and equipment. I was thinking I could have my son ride in the standing area he’s 7 not a big kid by all means
The total weight capacity of this kayak is over 400lb so you will have no problem fully loaded out and with your 7year old paddling this perception nailed it of a super stable kayak the trade off is it’s very slow but stability is off the charts.Here’s a link to get one amzn.to/3K9GrCh

Glad to see you review/enjoy fishing boats as well as white water boats. Probably don’t need to go down the fishing yak rabbit hole myself though….I’ve bought 6 white water boats. Paddle on brother🤘
